Ulric looked at the basket with the mulling spices and considered what to buy. "Hm... could I try it before deciding on the amount?" There were some other in training guards who would like the mulling spices. If he likes how it turned out he'd give them some and hopefully help drum up some business for Curby. "Nice to meet you Curby." He said finally noticing the pumpkins, "I'll also take one of your smaller pumpkins. Those are the ones for cooking, right?" Some pumpkin pie sounded good. Probably because the smells from the festival was really starting to hit him and making him hungry. (WC: 105; Points: 17+16+5+9+4) (Going to take this pumpkin)

Rhys nodded at what Lesedi said. It made sense that there were more siblings. He gave a short laugh at what Emrys said, mostly in a knee jerk reaction to saying that Ana was teaching someone how to use a dagger. "Well I feel honored and delighted that Miss Lesedi is so talkative. And yes that is me. Although I think it's more of handing me my butt and knocking me down some pegs." He replied to the twins. "Ah so both of you were part of that party. I wish I could have gone but I wasn't qualified enough to go. As you've pointed out to me numerous times I'm not that great with a dagger." He said to Ana and Davidian. He was glad that Davidian wasn't just a random guy that was interacting with his friend. He was slightly jealous but he was doing his best to squash that feeling as there was nothing romantic going on between them and they were only going to be friends at best. Dusk simply waved at Twilight and Lathyrus when they both yelled out for him to not wander off. The new stand wasn't too far away so he would be fine. This new candy treat was far too interesting. "I dunno. It looks amazing!" He replied. The booth owner chuckled and smiled at the boys. "It's cotton candy and yes you can eat it. A cone of it is free for every child in honor of the festival. If your moms say it's okay you can each have one." They said. Dusk immediately whipped around spotting the moms heading over. "Mama, Mommy! Can we please!?" He yelled out waving them over. Twilight looked at Aletris and then smacked her head. "I totally forgot that they were giving away free candy at some of the game booths." She replied, "Yes let's head over there after we wrangle them from the cotton candy." She nodded in reply to the whispered part and smiled. "It is the best thing in the world to spend time with you all. Although Dusk could tone it down." She began to follow after the boys and heard Dusk yell out. She winced at his loud voice and sighed. Chaelean (points: 6) How long had it been since Chaelean had last gone to an All Hallow's Eve festival? She'd have to think back to how long she'd been keeping herself occupied with the shop and her studies and it was likely that she may not have come to this one at all were it not for Raindrop insisting she take a break. Truth be told, she suspected the kitsune just wanted to steal some hapless citizens' food while they weren't paying attention but she couldn't deny that enjoying the festivities for once sounded nice. Once she closed up her shop and had Raindrop at her side, she made her way towards the center of the festivities where she was handed a rather novel-looking little bucket that was meant to hold any trinkets or treats gathered while celebrating. Raindrop sniffed at it and poked her nose partway into it before looking up at Chaelean and speaking into her mind. This carved pumpkin is not made of pumpkin. This is clear deceit."You already know this is meant to be more akin to a basket than an actual gourd." Chaelean said with a gentle chuckle, ignoring the kitsune's indignant huff as she walked around to take in the sights. There were all sorts of interesting items....like the novelty wands that were enchanted to do fairly innocuous things when used. One seemed particularly useful. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aldin (points: 6) Festivals. Festivals meant people.....and people meant opportunities. As silent as ever, and keeping up an aloof and slightly intimidating aura, Alden made his way into the colorful crowd and decor with his eyes ever vigilant. Ever person he came across he gave a long, studying gaze over them to gauge what could intrigue him. Status....wealth....impulsive purchases....familial ties; one could learn a lot from someone simply by what they had on their person or in their baskets. He was handed one of the novelty treat and trinket jack-o-lantern buckets, raising it to look over it with a raised eyebrow. At least it complimented his aesthetic...and he could blend in as another patron. Apparently this one already came with a knickknack inside of it; a skull? Oh....just a sculpture. How strange.

 Anastasia chuckled slightly. "I could always give you more training..." She gave him a wicked grin. "Maybe we could get you in top shape before the next time we go out." She was sure there would be another, and probably another after that. She definitely wouldn't mind having him at her side if he was prepared enough, but he needed a lot of training before that could happen and she wasn't even the best person to train him. As much as she hated it, even Elena would do better to teach him than she would. (Taking: Martini)

Lesedi was a bit surprised by the conversation between Rhys and her brother. She squeaked slightly, feeling her cheeks grow rather warm as she tried to dip behind Emrys's arm to hide. He, however, kept his arm firmly behind her so she couldn't slip away easily which meant he had no issue stopping her. "I... Emrys could probably teach you if you aren't getting it with mother... Or I could..." Her eyes flicked away out of embarrassment. (Taking: Martini)

Emrys's brow raised when he saw how shy Lesedi was suddenly being. He couldn't help but chuckle. It had been a pretty long time since he had seen his sister respond like this to anyone. "Perhaps I was more right than I thought." He poked at his sister's cheeks and she squeaked, batting his hand away. "Nothing wrong with that, that's how it always starts. Bramble wandered into the party, his wings fluttering behind him. It was a sign of his nervousness for them to flutter like those of a hummingbird, though one would never know it by his face. No, there he wore a charming smile as his eyes took in everything they could. So busy looking around, that he bumped into a table holding what seemed to be little buckets, shaped like pumpkins with... troubling faces upon them. "How interesting..." he murmured as he picked one up, slipping it over his wrist. Perhaps he'd find other such trinkets or sweets to put inside.Party Loot

Jeska sauntered through the doors to the party, a smirk on her face. She was sure she could find someone to con here. Plucking a pumpkin bucket off a table holding them, she scanned the area for someone who seemed like they would be an easy mark. She enjoyed the click of her heels on the floor as she wandered around. She spotted a few likely marks, remarking on something unimportant but in a different direction to the person tending a table, her fingers casually swiping something off the table the person was tending before slipping the item in her bucket and walking away.Party Loot

Kin'Ath was bored. He had heard there was a party and since he had nothing else to do to occupy his time, he decided to come see what this party was all about. His skilled fingers lifted a few coins off of the wealthier looking guests of the party, and just as easily slid them into the pockets or purses of those that looked less fortunate. A self satisfied smile grew on his lips as he surveyed the room. A pumpkin faced bucket found its way to his arm as he took his time checking out the people and the trinkets available for the partygoers.Party Loot

 Davidian had lost track of the conversation. He was really sure how that had happened. Looking to the one cup of ale he had won form the event, he wondered if maybe it had been spiked with something cause normally he was so out of it. Setting it down he looked at the group with a grin. "Please forgive me I seem to have been lost in thought." He knew it was rude but all he could do was hope they would not think to less of him for it. "Anyways is everyone having fun her so far.  Samantha was having a blast at this event. She could not remember a time when she had so much fun. There was so much going on and she was like a moth to a flame or maybe a dog spotting a squirrel. Either way she was bonusing and super excited about it all. She just wished she could find someone other then her sour familiar to talk too. "Hey I am not sour." Jazz grumbled at her feet. Curby nodded. "Yes, definitely!" He pointed to the small keg. "That is full of hot cider. Juice with the mulling spices." He pulled out a clean cup and filled it with the cider, then offered it to Ulric. "Enjoy." He wanted a pumpkin, too? What luck! "Yes! Every size of pumpkin should taste good if you cook them. The only ones that you shouldn't eat are the small, knobby gourds. The medium sized pumpkins would work for a pie. The tiny ones are about one serving, perfect to just pop in the oven and eat. So take whatever size pumpkin you want!" This was the sort of thing he loved to talk about. He could go on and on about all the types of gourds and squash he had in stock. And his new projects. He wanted to dry and carve out gourds to make them into different things, like bird houses and canteens. But he wouldn’t bore Ulric with that. Ulric took the offered cup of cider and gave it a try. It was hot and after a moment he was able to taste it. He was lucky he didn't accidentally burn his tongue. He allowed the drink to cool down some more before drinking more. He considered the taste and decided it was pretty good. "I'll take one of the ones that make one gallon and a couple of the one cup packets." He said after a few moments, "It's pretty good. Thank you for letting me try it. Well if I want a pie then I guess I need one of the medium sized pumpkins. Let me know what my total is." He looked at the medium sized pumpkins and picked one out. Hm... he may have to run home before exploring the rest of the festival. "I'll try to send more people your way. You've got some good wares and it's a shame that you haven't had more business."
