He couldn't believe he was back. Sure he was making use of the fair to get his fill on funnel cakes but he'd told himself the fish beanie didn't mean anything. It wasn't something he had to have. And yet he was back, paying for another round and getting ready to try his luck once more.
Hopefully today would be kind to him and he wouldn't have to try too much longer.

How utterly disappointing, though not surprising. He wouldn't say he was an unlucky fellow but he definitely wasn't as long as he wished he could be. He almost debated texting Melody to come and join him, maybe her luck would rub off? But he knew not to bother her, as the cousins were getting their last hurrah in before the school year started once more.
A soft sigh and he opted to try again, closing his eyes this time as he started to toss the ping pong balls towards their intended destination. Please let him get lucky this time.

Okay well that wasn't a surprise considering all three were thrown with eyes closed. Which, admittedly, lowered his already low chances. He could hear snickering in the back of his head and the gentle teasing of his friend if she were here. A small chuckle left him.
Okay, he had one more go for the day and even if he still didn't win there was at least tomorrow. And funnel cake waiting for him. Last set of balls purchased, he sucked in a breath and gave it one last go.
His second toss had been so close but still no wins. Fine then. Off to funnel cake he went with plans to be back tomorrow for another go.

Noelle had taken a small break from the fair but now she was back and ready to get the last beanbag she needed to have them all. And tossed the ping pong balls so hard they ended up in another game entirely.

Maybe a break hadn't been such a good idea after all. Picking up the next batch of ping pong balls she gave them a light toss. And the last beanbag was hers. She now had the complete collection.

There was only one last fish for Giulia to obtain, and that was what had brought her here, sneaky, to try again. She had already gotten the Fancy Bean, and the Black Bean... but the Gold Bean...
Holding the ping pong balls carefully, she aimed and chucked them. The balls, however, were disgustingly light, and there was, clearly, wind.... again....
This had nothing to do with her aim.

Well, three more fails were... fine. This was fine.
Giulia slapped down her second ticket, and glared intently at the bowls.
She missed with the first ball, but the SECOND ball obtained her the gold bean, and Giulia was delighted even though her third ball missed.
Passing her last ticket over to the vendor, she said "Give this last ticket to a little kid who needs it!" and ran away, delighted to have a full fish collection.

LAST DAY! TIME TO PLAY! It was the final day of the fair and likely to be a busy one for sure. The one thing the attendant at the Fish Bowl Toss knew for sure was that they didn't want to be stuck packing up all of the leftover fish prizes in either bean or live format.
That meant changing things up a little... And it would be totally worth it to make sure that all of the fishie friends made it home with someone.

You may roll as many times as you want until your character has obtained the prizes they desire from this game! You must still role play along with your rolls, but... HAPPY FISHING!

Gabbie had come back on the last day specifically to try to get herself a fish or two. And while her first two tosses were pretty bad, her third hit precisely right.
"I'll take that beautiful baby right there!" she pointed to a bagged fish that was gently fanning its fins.
She was already awning optimal aquarium set up in her head as she collected her fish.

It took Gabbie all of two minutes to decide to try again. Goldfish like having friends, right? So she needed to win a friend for her fish. Handing over more tickets, she took another turn and shrieked gleefully as her second won a prize. Studying the fish carefully, she pointed out a dainty looking fish.
"That one. It's perfect!"
Collecting her second fish, Gabbie wandered off happily.

Last day of the fair and you could bet Seiji had made his way back to give it one final hurrah for a fish. Maybe two because he was still torn between the black and the calico beanies. It would depend. And of course he couldn't forget the funnel cake before leaving.
Giving it another go, all three balls missed their mark but he wasn't going to let it ruin his day. He'd just keep going until he won at least one, nothing wrong with that. Right? Right.

Three more balls, three more fails. Was he focusing too hard on it or something? Why else could he be so bad at this? Had lady luck abandoned him?
Ah well, the win would be all the more sweeter at this point. The more he failed the better his win would be, right? If nothing else he'd be walking away with a funny story.
Time to keep going.

Closer, doing better but still not winning. The first one had bounced off the rim, the other two missing the rim by a hair. He was so closer, getting closer but still no wins.
Taking a moment to roll up the almost comically loose sleeves of his shirt, Seiji took in a deep breath and readied another try. He was leaving here with fish, by tunder.

A miss, another (more terrible) miss and.... a win? Hot damn, he got one in! He could have cried at the fact he'd gotten a win finally. Didn't but could have. He claimed a black fish beanie and tucked it into one of the pockets of his cargo shorts so he could try again.
At this point it was just trying to set a precedence. He was going to win both fishes before he left.

That first ball was just so close, so close! Another bounce off of the rim for the second ball.... So it was going to be like that again huh? That was fine.
Determination shone in green eyes behind his glasses, and he prepared to try again. He wasn't to be dissuaded by bad luck, not this time.
