Standing there as Maemi explained and showed him the old scrolls she had set aside, and how some of them would need to be summoned outside for whatever reason, Shin chuckled slightly as she mentioned not letting herself be in the same room as the creature that had been mentioned a moment ago. “Alright then, nevermind on the drain set up, then, I guess. When she activated another scroll and a chubby little creature with a pumpkin on its back appeared, Shin would tilt his head towards it slightly. Shin chuckled when it got super excited to see Maemi amd started scrambling to try and climb into her lap before looking at him. When Maemi told the little guy what his name was, Shin went slightly cross-eyed for a moment as a vine extended from its back to pat him on the head. Shin’s finger would slide into his pocket to give the little hummingbird a light scratch between its shoulders as he watched Nibiru run over to play with Kushami who seemed content sitting on the floor playing now.
When Maemi suggested going outside, Shin nodded as the bunch of them worked their way out into the sunny morning. He saw Kushami amd Mibiru running around playing in the grass and among the trees. But what gave him a good laugh was watching as Dokuro flopped over on his back in the grass to sun his belly happily. Yuu tried hard to get him to roll back over, but the chunky little dude was having none of it. “Interesting little crew of summoning creatures you got here, Maemi” he’d say with a soft laugh. “Glad the more energetic little ones are having fun playing over there... how often did they get to really come out and run around when you lived with your family...?” Shin would ask curiously, since her family always seemed to try to hide the necromantic abilities of the Muhofu clan, he didn’t expect all these skeletal creatures and zombies got to hang out outside much.
Back in the lab, the medicinal Shin clone was trying to figure out a mixture of compounds that could do what he wanted. As he read through another reference book, he found his first idea that seemed to work. “Ah, yea, ginger root is good for drying out excess mucus. If you give a somewhat higher dose, especially if it’s concentrated as an extract, that should dry things out nicely.” Shin would grab some ginger root and chop it up into slices, throwing them into a pot of water with more glycerol to help thicken it. “Another good compound for boosting heart rate would just be good old caffeine, and some lavender extract could open up the blood vessels, drop their blood pressure.” As he thought it through, he noted that this combination was gonna make the body go kind of nuts for a bit, but hopefully it would trigger the hormone release he needed to cause. Shin would go find some extra strong tea leaves he kept on hand for when he just couldn’t wake up and focus as well as some fresh lavender and throw them into separate pots of water and glycerin. Once he had these all well extracted and concentrated, he could begin mixing and testing to find the combo that worked.

The mention of the drain set didn't escape from Maemi. "I'm sure it's useful, just not for Kajiru. He would get it all over the equipment. Walls. Ceilings. Your clothes," explained Maemi. Chisai felt the little scratch as it chirped happily in the pockets. Maemi was organizing the scrolls as Shin talked to her about her set up. She smiled softly. Half of them weren't bad. The other half.... well Kajiru wasn't bad either, he's just messy. She knows that some of them may try to attack or disdain the sunny weather. Maemi heard Shin, "Often. That's another reason why we use seals to genjutsu trap the forest. Don't want anyone wandering in and see zombies or rotten creatures. Though they seemed to be safe in my garden so sometimes it's just us." With a sigh, she summoned Kajiru next. Already, he was dripping slobber. Then he shook his body, slobber flinging everywhere. Even Dokuro got a bit of it on its leg. With a grumbled, Dokuro the chunk started to roll so he can wipe the slobber away on the grass. He finally cooperated as Yuu cleaned him up. Maemi went to work as she wrote the kanji on the new scroll and destroyed the old one. Rolled up the new bamboo scroll, she grabbed another one and noticed some inconsistencies with the weaving of the bamboo so she fixed it up quickly. Once done, she summoned the next one. It was a woman in messy pigtails dressed in red. She had wolf skin on top of her head. It would seem that her top of face was shadowed, perhaps missing but the wolf head was rather active. It even blinks. The lower half of her face seemed scarred including her lips as if someone tried to cut a permanent smile onto her.

When Maemi explained how messy her summon was, shin raised an eyebrow slightly, then would chuckle a bit when she called it out and he saw the slobber get slung basically everywhere. “Ah, I never realized you had genjutsu in the forest there... interesting.” Shin would have a seat beside her and lean back on his hand in the grass. As used as he was to the quiet, it was kind of nice having all Maemi’s summons running around playing. When she called out another one, Shin crooked an eyebrow again at the female with seemingly the top half of her head like a wolf and a sort of permanent smile cut into her cheeks. “Who’s that?” He would ask quietly as the summons seemed to be taking a somewhat darker turn from the slightly creepy looking but otherwise cute critters she had been summoning so far.
The clone in he lab was still working on his antidote for the poison spores. He had his mixture of chemicals that he thought should cause the reaction he wanted, but just had to figure out the ratios of each.bringing out a couple more cages of test mice, Shin would create his first mixture. Feeding the mouse a little of the poison, he would give it a minute or so to start taking effect. There was no point administering the antidote before the poison took full effect. He had to know it would work if given at any point after poisoning.once the poor mouse was scrambling around, freaking out as it suffocated,Shin would pin it to the counter and inject it with his test antidote. Holding his diagnostic jutsu over it, he would see as the mucus dried up slightly, it’s blood vessels relaxed and dilated, but the heart rate didn’t increase much.calling over one of his water mosquitos he would have it cure the poor little guy of both the poison and his attempt at medicine.creating another mixture, he increased the proportion of caffeine and decreased the lavender extract slightly. Poisoning the next mouse, he’d wait again for the effects to take hold before administering trial number two of his antidote. Montering the mouse with his diagnosis technique, he’d see the drying of the membranes, the sharp increase in heart rate, and a slight dilation of blood vessels. A few seconds later, he sensed the mouse’s adrenals kick in and the mouse’s throat started to reduce in swelling as the steroid took its anti inflammatory effect. With an excited fist pump, the Shin clone place the mice back into their larger communal cage in the closet.

Busy focusing on removing the old scrolls and putting her summons into a new one, she heard Shin speak to her. "Hmm?" She quizzed as she glanced up. "Ah, she's Maketa. Um. She doesn't talk." Maemi explained. Course the fact that she had the 'cuter' ones out first before the creepy sort of escaping her. After all, this was the environment she was used to. Dokuro grumbled few times as he was freshly preened, trimmed, and clean. Yuu smiled as she patted Dokuro on the head, "There isn't that better?" She questioned him as Dokuro stuck his tongue out of her. "Dokuro," Maemi called out as he let out a trill that sounded like what? Maemi motioned for him to come here. "Ikari is coming so I'll need your help." Dokuro looked serious quickly before he nodded. Then his vines which looked almost rotted and dry were actually firm and strong. Looks can be deceiving after all. Maemi got up and made sure she was a bit of a distant from the others. Kajiru was scratching his ear as the two little ones were still playing hide and seek. Yuu seemed to avoid Maketa while Maketa waited to be summoned away.
Summoned Ikari, there was an angry roar, he looked like an undead warrior with different kind of armor that wasn't on their land. His face deceased with eyes white. He had some maggots on him and on his chest plate said Fate and beneath it, Love. Both was crossed out. His eyes laid on Maemi as he attempted to attack with his sword and his shield on his left arm was drawn back but Dokuro was ready. The vines grasped his arms to prevent him from attacking Maemi. He was full of anger that was for sure. Maemi wasted no time as he was summoned into a new scroll. Dokuro then sat down and yawned. Maketa approached Maemi. With that, she waved her hand and Maketa was gone for now.
"Kajiru." She called out as the skull-headed dog let out a whine as he barked and made his way over, drool all over the grass on the way. "Sairento." She said as he barked happily and wagged his tail with a thump thump. Less rotted than Ikari, he had festering cheeks but no maggots. Eyes golden like Yuu with chain mail on him. Quiver at his back and he seemed to have much electricity. The zombie rogue hears Kajiru as he pets him. It seemed that those two get along.

Shin would watch Maemi as she explained who the odd looking summon was, nodding softly to show his understanding, “Yea... those cuts... kind of surprised she even has a lower jaw still attached...” he would go back to watching the other summons play until he saw Dokuro called over. He had a slight feeling the next entity summoned might be a bit of a handful considering it was the first time she’d asked for anyone to give her a hand. When he saw a heavily armored warrior looking creature appear, Shin would watch it closely, activating his byakugan, When the warrior summon let out an angry roar and charged at Maemi with its sword, Shin would roll quickly to the side, ending up in a low sprinter’s starting position as skeleton arms rose from the ground around the warrior, grabbing both its legs at the ankles, its arms at the elbows, and the longest grabbing its shoulders near the neck. This should quickly immobilize it along with what he saw Dokuro do with his vines. Once Maemi sealed it into its new scroll, Shin sighed softly. “Ok, didn’t expect that... “ he’d say, standing up anwalking over to Dokuro,reaching down to give him a small scratch behind tha ear. “Good job, little guy” he’d say cheerfully as Maemi called over the slobbery dog summon just as she summoned another warrior looking entity. This one seemed a bit friendlier as it pet the skeletal dog happily. “Ok, at least he seems friendlier than that last one...” Shin would say chuckling slightly as he walked over near Maemi. Looking her over as he deactivated his byakugan, he couldn’t help but be amazed at how she barely flinched in the face of that charge. ‘Smart, strong, brave... and sexy as hell... damn did I hit the jackpot here...’ he would think to himself as he mentally told himself that even though she was strong, he’d still do everything in his power to protect her.

Shin talked about the cuts, "They're.... skin cuts. Not muscular or deep to the bone and it doesn't go that far back..." Maemi explain. She could talk if she wanted to but after what she went through, who wanted to? While she summoned Ikari, she saw Shin reacted as she felt a bit bad, maybe she should've warned him that Dokuro had it under control. Lucky for her, Dokuro wasn't the type to throw a fit or be angry. Dokuro let out a weird guttural purr when he was scratched behind one of the ears. As the rogue and the dog go off to play somewhere for a bit, Shin would hear crackling noises where the drools were. He would have to be careful. If he stepped on one, it would inflict a nasty but quick shock. "Hmm. Let's summon one more and I'm done for the day." Shin would notice there were two or three more scrolls that needed work, not including the one she was working on now. A skeleton warrior appeared in the shape of the samurai's armor, the same one that they fought. He seemed to have an arrow embedded in his head and the other one at his back, and lastly at his right pec. His jaw was unhinged and just hanging there with cobwebs. His chest was rather interesting. It looked like there's an open hole on it's abs and chest. There are sharp teeth around it. The samurai held a katana but made no motion to attack. Maemi simply summoned him to a new scroll. Once done, she placed all the scrolls into the bag and destroyed the old ones. With the two or three old scrolls remaining, she placed it at the end of the bag and made a mental reminder to take her bag to work tomorrow. "Okay. All done for now."

When Maemi said the cuts were only skin deep, Shin nodded slightly, “Ah, ok... they looked pretty rough so wasn’t sure there.” He’d notice the crackling electricity around the friendlier warrior summon and spot the puddles of slobber. He’d be careful where he stepped for the time being. When another warrior type summon appeared, Shin would look it over. He had arrows piercing several points that would be fatal and his jaw was kind of just hanging from one joint. He then noticed the teeth surrounding the holes in his stomach and chest.”That’s.... interesting.... toothy mouth holes in the chest and abdomen...” he’d kind of think out loud. Once that one was sealed away again, and Maemi said she was done for the time being, Shin would nod slightly. “Alright... anything else you wanna do today?” He’d ask cherfully, he enjoyed spending time with her,and considering they had the day off figured might as well try to enjoy it.

As she sat on the grass and watched the others, Shin asked the one question that Maemi did not have an answer to. She stared at him for a moment. Another moment. Chisai moved around in his pocket a bit but then became still. Maybe it was just trying to get comfortable like a cat. "Um." She realized something. With them working so much, they had the free time today and she had nothing in mind. Usually, at home, she would tend to her gardens or do some extra work. It was also then Maemi realized she had no hobbies. She should get one. "I... don't have anything in mind." Maemi sounded rather defeated. Maybe she wasn't cut out for this. What do couples do? They go on dates but they are engaged. They also have fun in bed but she wanted to wait, for now. Maemi wasn't sure if Shin wanted to go shopping. Or theatre with her. Or even dancing for that matter.

Hearing the defeated tone to Maemi’s voice, Shin would frown slightly as he looked her over. They hadn’t really gotten to do much or spend much time together since they’d gotten engaged, even with them living together for the past week. Shin wanted to do something a bit special for her, both for them to have fun together and to try and help her feel more comfortable in the house with him. Thinking for a few moments, Shin would scratch his beard slightly absentmindedly before he would raise his eyebrows in sudden realization as he came up with an idea. “Hmm, I’ll be right back, I think I have an idea for something fun...” Shin would duck back into the workshop and find the pair of clones he’d sent into the lab. Both were done with their work but hadn’t released themselves yet. Talking quietly with them for a minute, Maemi outside would start to hear a slow rhythm of drums build up. The beat wasn’t super fast, just a nice comfortable pace that just about anyone could keep up with. A few minutes into the drumming, Shin still out of sight, Maemi would hear the tune of a soft flute come into the music. As the pitch of the flute rose and fell throughout the song, the clearing and trees around Maemi would begin to fade as she saw herself in a large ballroom, beautifully decorated. The sounds of the forest had gone except for the music, she felt the hardness of a dance floor under her feet instead of the soft grass. At this point, Maemi would see Shin come through the door of the ballroom, smiling softly, followed a minute later by his shadow clones, one playing a bone flute made from an ulna, the other a pair of hand drums that had grown from the fronts of his hips. The clones hung back, drifting smoothly into a corner while the original walked up closer to Maemi, holding out a hand, “how about this, my love? Wanna dance?” If she took his hand, he would step back slightly and drift her arm across her centerline, leading her into a quick little twirl before pulling her in close, his other hand going around her waist to rest in the small of her back.

Maemi can't help but to enjoy watching him scratch his beard. At least, he knew how to keep it trimmed and clean. She wasn't sure if she could be with such a man that doesn't take care of himself as well looking presentable. He said he had an idea and that he would be back, her eyebrows rose as she glanced towards Yuu. Yuu shrugged towards her as she signed. Some of her summons were tired so she summoned them all back, even Chisai who flew out of his pocket before he went inside and flew to Maemi as she smiled and pet it for a moment. The only ones that weren't summoned back in were Yuu and Dokuro. They both were just chilling and relaxing. Maemi couldn't relax however, she wanted to know what her fiance was planning and what was his idea of fun. Hearing music, she turned towards Shin with a curious rose eyebrow, then stood up as the clearing and trees faded into a magnificent ballroom. A smile lit up as her eyes were soaking in the beauty and the grand of it all. Shin came out and asked for dance as she smiled and placed her hand tenderly on his. When he stepped back and drift her arm at her mid-back, she gently placed her hand on his shoulder and relaxed her arm slightly. "This is lovely," Maemi said with a smile on her face as she was enjoying it.

Seeing Maemi’s eyes light up with her smile, Shin smiled happily back at her, “I’m glad you like it, thought it’d be kind of fun.” Shin would lead her around the illusory dance floor, somewhat hoping he wouldn’t accidentally find some random gopher hole or something in the grass hidden by his genjutsu. As they spun around , Shin would lead Maemi through a few spins, casting her out away from him before bringing her twirling back to end up wrapped in his arms for a moment before they went back to the dance, at one point he would let go of her hand, his sliding to grab her hips gently, lifting her inter the air as he spun for a moment before putting her back on her feet. After a few minutes, the music would start to die down, the genjutsu cast by it fading as the field and trees started to become visible again along with the other sounds of the forest on the property. As the music stopped, Shin would slow their dance til they had basically stopped, Shin standing there with his arms around Maemi’s waist. “I hope I can always make you smile like that...” he’d say, kind of half thinking out loud before giving her a quick kiss on the lips.

Maemi was enjoy the dance. She let him lead her of course and gave her body to him. Each beat and rhythm, Maemi matched perfectly well. It was as if she had been taking dance classes since she was young. The genjutsu and music started to fade as she let out a content sigh when her lips were met by a pair of Shin's. Her hand removed from his shoulder and slide up to place on his cheek, thumb gently stroking his cheek as she returned the kiss passionately. Her lips slowed down a bit as she pulled away gently. She had no respond to what he said because even then, she wasn't sure what the future hold but her heart was warmed with the fact that he would do anything to make her smile. It also made her a little bit nervous, that another wanted to do this for her when Maemi was taught to take care of herself. In her family, no one was spoiled. "I should get inside. Learn some more about poisons and what not." Then all the sudden, Kushami yelled in pain as Maemi gasped and jumped, her head turning towards the sound. Then she looked annoyed. Niburu had bitten Kushami's tail and it seemed to be rather hard bite too. Kushami started flailing, with Niburu still holding onto it's tail and you could've sworn you can hear the electricity come out of it. "Alright. That's enough for all of you." With that, all creatures she had summoned that was still out, was back in the scrolls.
