Finally, she wasn't alone in this school and she had someone she knew...who she could talk to. Just as she was about to say something, the light sprite returned, shaken. Lorel looked concerned as the sprite just went into her bag and poof. It wasn't like she hadn't seen that before...but not like that. She'd ask later, but for now, she turned her attention to Adrian. "So...it's just my dad and me, and we travel around to a lot of different places, from small towns to huge cities. He's a clergyman and plays music, and because of unfortunate circumstances, it's just the two of us. I'm so used to being alone, maybe I'm starved for attention. I mean, I don't like crowds either, but it's better than being alone." Lorel started to fidget. She hadn't opened up like this before. "I guess this is kind of my way of rebelling. Staying in one place for a long period of time." she smiled to herself a bit and looked back at him. "I was kind of scared I'd be so inept at making friends. So...it's nice to know I was wrong about that. she shook her head and got up, gesturing she'd be right back. She went and got some more tea and cookies for them. "Anyway...I just talked a lot.  Adrian LacroixAdrian felt a large surge of happiness when he saw the bright smile on Lorel's face when he accepted her invitation for friendship and he couldn't help but give a wide grin in return, it was just too infectious. However just as the two were beaming about it suddenly the little Sprite known as Illumina had returned rather shaken before vanishing into her bag once more which caused Adrian to blink for a moment in confusion, what was that all about? Well it seemed like Lorel wasn't going to address it so he wouldn't either and instead listened to the other speak about her life traveling. It was somewhat interesting to hear about another's life. Especially when it was just so vastly different from his own. Adrian would chuckle a small bit when she stated that this was her way of rebelling "An excellent way to rebel if you ask me" he stated with an amused look before nodding his head "I can understand that fear" oh he could relate. He would then hear the others question and nodded "Well you already know about my little sister Yvette, then there's my Father and Mother. They run a clinic to help the lower class get affordable medical attention, the family specialty is healing magic and my Mother is also an expert at crafting medicine, she's an expert at potions" he elaborated "They were expecting me to take over the business once they were too old but my specialty was...not what they had expected, and so when my little Sister turned out to be a healer they decided to have her take over instead of me" he chuckled a little bit "I can't say I'm upset about it, I helped them out a bit when I was able to and I don't think I could handle having lives placed in my hands like that" he explained with a small smile as he rubbed the back of his neck.

It was really nice to have someone, a friend, she could hang with. She blushed a bit when he said it was an excellent way to rebel. She was glad it wasn't...too dumb. She listened as she nibbled on a cookie, understanding what he was going through. Having people's lives in their hands? She couldn't...handle that either. "You're completely in the right. I can't imagine the stress of having...with keeping people alive. I'll stick to what I know..." Lorel said as she put the cookie down and sipped her tea. "But now it's like...you get to do something new! Expand your horizons, you know? I think that's pretty exciting." as she spoke, a red glow came from her bag. A little red sprite poked out, leaving little cinder marks as he walked. He sat and put a hand on the tea, warming it up. A fire sprite. Lorel looked down and sighed. It happened again. Adrian LacroixAdrian was pleased to know that Lorel could understand why he was so mousey about the idea of taking over a clinic like his parents. Not only did the handle the sick but they took care of medical emergencies as well and he knew some people died on his parents, something that weighed down on them heavily. He could never handle that level of stress, especially when they were literally relying on you to save their lives. He would then give a small smile and nodded his head at her next comment and sipped the last bit of his tea, now simply folding his arms a bit "I had never really thought of it like that, you're right I suppose it is rather exciting" he stated with a pleased look, feeling so much more at ease. He would then glance down at a red sprite that now was showing itself which caused Adrian to smile with a bit of an amused look on his face as it seemed to warm up her tea "Well a pleasure to meet you Cinder" he stated before looking up at Lorel with an amused smile "These little guys just seem to pop up whenever they please, do you still struggle with controlling your summons?" he inquired with a curious tone. There was no judgment in the way he said it or in his expression, just an honest and genuine curiosity.

She glanced at Cinder who looked up at her, but they said nothing to each other. "Yes. I really do. That's...it's a big concern since they'll just come out whenever. I can desummon them no problem, but they'll eventually come back out and be rather mad at me....and set fire to one of my favorite blouses..." she glared a little at Cinder who returned the glare in kind before removing his hand from the now hot cup of tea. Lorel blew on it a little before taking a sip, though it was still a little hot for her taste. "I'm hoping to learn a little more control...and not that I don't love the sprites, because I do...but maybe I can summon other things. Though if I learn that, I need to make sure something huge won't be popping out of my bag at random..." Cinder got up and walked over to Adrian and shrugged a bit at his greeting before returning to his seat and eating part of a cookie...which got more brown as soon as he touched it. Lorel rolled her eyes a bit at him. "So, what about you? Why enchanting of all things? You mentioned wanting to help out the knights and such, but did that stem from anything, or was it just something that seemed interesting?" she asked as she finally looked back at him. ☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲

Adrian LacroixAdrian would listen to Lorel as she seemed a touch embarrassed when he commented on her inability to control her summons. However her next comment caused a small smile to appear on his face before chuckling as she glared at little Cinder who seemed rather rebellious as he glared right back at her "Your sprites are very spirited" he commented with an amused look on his face, it seemed that Lorel's Sprites were not so willing to be ignored. Then her next proclamation that she wanted to learn to summon other things but not have something huge coming out of her bag and the idea of something like a golem crawling its way out of her bag made him laugh a bit "Well that certainly would not be good" Adrian stated in between his laughter which thankfully died down a bit after a moment or so before grinning "You know...I can't help but think that your Sprites might just like seeing you and that's why they summon themselves" he would explain his own little theory as to why maybe the Sprites summoned themselves out of her bag. Of course he had no experience in the art of summoning so it was all just guess work on his part. Then he would hear her own question and thought for a moment "Honestly it was just interesting to me, I always found enchantments to be fascinating. Giving such passive benefits and power to people, some enchantments are just...intriguing..." he would explain why he had taken up enchanting in the first place "Of course it also helps I had an affinity for it over other forms of magic as well" he chuckled a little bit with an amused look.

She'd never heard people comment on them, and be open about it with her. Adrian was so easy to talk to and was very kind. She only met him so recently and was already very comfortable talking to him. "Thanks for saying that. I mean, I value my relationships with them a lot...I just want to be in control instead of fearing when the next prank will be coming at me..." she laughed with him and gave him a very genuine smile. "It sounds to me you really enjoy enchanting, and what you can do with it. It's good to know that you've got talent other than what your family dictates and you're going in that direction. It shows how strong you really are. A lot of people in higher classes often follow in their parent's footsteps out of loyalty, not curiosity. So, I think that's a great trait you have. And you should never give up if this is what you want to do." she said to him and Cinder just rolled his eyes at the speech. Loral glanced down and glared. "Hey! I think it's true and not cheesy! Butt out!" she told him before looking back at him, flicking Cinder just a bit. Cinder responded by burning the finger a little. Adrian LacroixAdrian listened to the other speak and nodded his head when she thanked him for complimented her relationship with the Sprites. A soft chuckle would then erupt from his throat as she explained how she didn't like fearing when she'd get pranked next which was a very amusing thought to him. Adrian would then nod his head at her next comment and how she went on to speak about how people often follow in their parents footsteps, specifically the high class "Well thank you Lorel, you're...very sweet. Thankfully I'm not of the high class, I don't think I could handle such pressures, especially following in another's footsteps" he explained with a small smile. While he knew that being from the high class also meant lots of money it also meant a lot more pressure to maintain a certain image, to maintain oneself in the public eye, to act a certain way, it was all dizzying to the reserved male. However he let out another laugh as she scolded Cinder and flicked him, only for him to retaliate and burn her finger a bit which caused him to smile a bit at the fire sprite and reached out a bit "Now, now Cinder I know she was mean and flicked you but it's better to be the bigger person and not retaliate like that" he teased Lorel lightly, obviously taking Cinder's side a bit! If Cinder allowed it Adrian would proceed to gently pat his head with the tip of his finger.

She liked hearing him laugh or chuckle. She wasn't sure why, she just did. "I'm not trying to be sweet, no offense...I'm just telling you the truth. At least what I believe that truth is..." she said to him. "I do admit I'm a little sheltered...but I've been to a lot of places. You don't know how many fake people I've met in my life...you start to be able to tell the real and the fake...and...well...you're very real to me." she listened to him and blushed a little bit after saying that. She felt like she struck gold since the two of them had so much in common! It was exactly awesome since they had a lot to talk about. Though when he was obviously siding with Cinder, she gave the little fire sprite a glare as he grinned at her. And yes, Cinder allowed the head pat out of SPITE of Lorel. "You-!" she looked at Adrian and then Cinder and let out a sigh. She knew when to back off. It was a joke, and she knew it. She took a calming breath and just sat there.
