He growled and launched another white magic ball toward Asher. "YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY!" Belmont shouted at him as he summoned an energy weapon into his hand. He was trying to incapacitate him to try and get some information out of him. He looked as Asher was using a dark teleportation spell. He heard a commotion that interrupted his thoughts. On instinct, he hurried toward the distress. He slid to a halt when he saw the blonde haired student facing off against someone. His eyes went to whoever it was, and his blood went cold. " No," he uttered immediately recognizing it was the student who supposedly died. Akeen saw that the 'undead' student was about to teleport. " T'ere will be no escape for you!" Akeen declared as he drew a rune in front of him. " Ensnare my foe!" the rune glowed, " Vincula devolvat!" magic laced chains shot from the rune and surged toward the dark haired student.

As Asher disappeared, Belmont looked surprised. Then he was hit in the stomach. Belmont crumbled and held his stomach, blood dripping his mouth. He looked at the blood and knew what was going on. "Not now...." he mumbled and attempted to get up, but his chest was pulsing with pain more and more. Belmont was about to fire a close-range guardian magic spell, but then he was yanked up and held by Asher. He looked back in fear and anger as Asher was doing the obvious and using him as a shield. Thump...THUmp....THUMP... The sound of boots could be heard as the Dullahan strode with an unnatural stride towards his target. The thrill of hunting was alive in the dullahan as the head held aloft eyes glowed with an eerie gold light. The hallways usually a maze to those unfamiliar with them where easily navigated. Just about to round the final corner to the hallway when the soul of Akeen appeared. "𝓗𝓐𝓗𝓐𝓗𝓐𝓗𝓐 𝓢𝓮𝓮𝓶𝓼 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓱𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝓯𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓯𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽 𝓐𝓴𝓮𝓮𝓷 𝓝𝔂𝓸𝓽𝓪" The Dullahan strode forth the fog poured forth from his body slowly starting to coat the ground between him and his target. "𝓐𝓼𝓱𝓮𝓻 𝓡𝓪𝓮! 𝓘 𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓮 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝔂𝓮 𝓼𝓸𝓾𝓵. What came down the hallway was what the legends all recall, Death in the form of a headless being coming to collect the soul of Asher Rae.
The young student known as Belmont Hainsworth was in the perfect position to watch the dullahan round the corner and make his way. His stride passed Akeen, The scythe that Odhran carried seem to gleam even in the slowly dimming light of the hallway, the perfect reflection of Asher transcribed in its mirror sheen blade, with each step it grew closer and with it the ability to sever a souls mortal presence in this realm.

╔════════❖═════════╗ Akeen Nyota ||==========Rune Mage==========|| Student ╚════════❖═════════╝ " Does t'at bickering involve de murdering of innocent students?!" Akeen called out through his clenched teeth. His focus was so much on the two in front of him that he didn't notice his phone buzzing in his pocket. He was about to trace another rune, but the blonde haired boy was being used as a human shield. Akeen cursed under his breath but still had a finger held out and pointed at the dark haired one. " You are supposed to be dead. How is it t'at you are walking about t'ese halls?" he demanded. Which rune could he use in this situation? He wished there was someone else to help. The blonde haired student was not looking like he was not in good shape. Then came the ominous voice and the fog. " Huh?" he saw it out of the corner of his eyes. There then came a headless being striding passed him and toward the two students. " No, wait!" he called to the scythe wielding man. It was a hostage situation. If the scythe wielder made a wrong move, the blonde haired student could end off worst than he was.

As he was planning, the dullahan arrived. He was carefully casting a white magic spell in his hand, but he was very distracted by the dullahan and his intimidating visage coming into view. He wasn't sure why this guy was even hired, he was scary as heck. As he was coming closer, he changed his spell to another guardian magic one rather than white magic. As he was pushed, Belmont quickly put up a small shield in front of him before hitting the ground. He slowly got on all fours but was coughing and his body was shaking. More blood dropped out of his mouth. "Ah...d-damn it!" he held his chest as he coughed some more, trying to calm his body down, though he was not exactly working. He could feel his heart beating a mile a minute...and it was not a good scene for him. ☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲

William was right on the Dullahan's heels following behind him although frankly he somewhat wished he wasn't. The man was OK for the most part but he was just plain creepy when he got like this. Hearing the others manic laughter as he was a few steps behind Odhran as he began to speak and the his aura began to spread like a plague. Well one thing was for sure, the head of Security certainly had intimidation down to a tee, the man had everyone present pretty much quaking in their shoes. William would glance at the Dullahan with a weary look 'I hope he doesn't get too wild, I'm not cut out for dealing with this...' he thought to himself before hearing the ghost and his eyes widened when he saw whom Asher had as a hostage and his eyes narrowed on him "Release Belmont at once!" he demanded of the ghost glaring a bit as he knew that he was not the actual threat here. Nonetheless though once the other made his proclamation William would quickly run forward and picked up Belmont to pull him out of the way however as soon as he did the other used a teleportation gem and vanished "Damn..." he muttered under his breath as he held onto Belmont, being mindful of any wounds he may have had. Will would look up from his position on the ground meet Odhran's gaze "We can't let him run free, he'll hurt more students. Can you track or sense him at all still?" he asked with a worried look which overrode any lingering fear that the others aura had, the last thing he wanted was to hear about any deaths due to this ghost.

Did the knee to the gut cause more damage than it looked to do so? Akeen got a handkerchief from his pocket and handed it to Belmont to wipe his mouth. "A re you alright?" he asked. Thank goodness the staff arrived, otherwise, he didn't know what would have happened. " Sir," Akeen looked to William Hawke. " To help narrow it down, feel out for dark magic. The young man who appeared dead in the library was de one who did t'is. He reeked of dark magic," he said.

Asher's disappearance fueled the fury within the dullahan. He had him, This damnable evil soul has escaped his blade and he would hunt him down to the ends of the earth. The fury was evident in the smoke that shot upward from the neck stump of the dullahan. His arm jerked the dullahan's head to stare upon the Young Master Belmont being held by Hawke and with the student Nyota positioned closely to lend aid. The Dullahan's features softened as they bled back to semblance of calmness losing the more horrifying features that dominated his current features like the disfiguring smile, the billowing smoke was now just a gentle up draft from the scarf area, his eyes had returned to normal as they looked down on the student. Crimson dribbled from his mouth which brought a sorrowful look from the Dullahan. "Young Belmont, I am awfully sorry to have arrived late and allow dis spirit cause you harm." The words where genuine from the head guard as that was the most he could do at the moment. Odhran was not use to dealing with mortals in such situation and so there was a bit of awkwardness around him.
Odhran's gaze fell to Hawke locking eyes with the man. Hawke would be able to see a swirl of emotions in the dullahan's eyes for a brief second before they disappeared. The way Hawke looked at the dullahan was all he needed in return but his question was spoken and the dullahan responded. "No being is ever lost to me so long as it's soul remains on this plain, But I trust you will look after young master Belmont and see he receives the medical attention he requires." Odhran's body moved its hand and the head faced in the direction of the clock tower. "Should there be no issues, I will ride on ta hunt this being and protect the students of this school." The eyes began to bleed black once again. A pool of smoke formed behind him and the neighing of a horse could be heard before just the beast appeared. A Shire horse with a Midnight black coat with hellish red eyes appeared, a saddle dangling with trinkets of old Gaelish Origin and what looked like a German gasmask dangled from the saddle. The dullahan's horse Caillte had arrived at her masters call.

As William held Belmont to keep him safe Akeen would hurry to the blondes side as the Professor would listen to what the other said. He blinked a bit in surprise "He reeked of dark magic?" he inquired before thinking on what that could mean. He knew a bit about all the different types of magic but he was no specialist in the field so he'd need a second opinion, if only he knew where Merlin was right now. William would take note of Odhran's look when addressing Belmont and it was almost amusing to see this powerful being a touch awkward about apologizing personally to the young man. Once William spoke to the Dullahan he'd listen to the other explain that as long as the soul was in the mortal realm he'd be able to find him. The Interrogation Professor would then nod his head at the others statement "Of course, I'll get him to the infirmary asap" he stated before seeing the Dullahan's steed arrive black as night with bright red eyes, he can't even say he was surprised. William would nod his head "I'll leave you too it than, I trust that he won't get away from you a second time" he lifted Belmont up bridal style and looked to the Dullahan with one final look "And while I doubt it, if you need assistance don't be afraid to call for backup" he stated with a tiny smirk. There was no doubt the Dullahan needed help doing his job but if there were more involved than just the ghost of the student then no doubt the other staff members would step in to assist. He would then look down at Belmont "Try not to move too much OK?" he stated as he began to make his way to the infirmary.

Saffron was lurking around the hall thinking that Belmont might not be at the center of the action. HOPING he wasn't at the center of the action. After the men took off she didn't see a reason to do anything other than making sure Belmont was okay. She then heard a scream from Akeen saying 'Belmont!' and her face took surprise; followed by a sharp gasp. Her eyes began to fill with tears as the concern began to grow. She quickly forgot about everything else and headed towards Akeen's scream. As she got to the hallway that had everyone in it including Belmont, she saw Odhran and William talking and Odhran getting ready to take off...she started to head for Belmont as William began to take him to the infirmary.
ARE YOU ******** SERIOUS!? YOU GUYS COULDN'T PROTECT HIM!?
She yelled at William, racing to catch up with him. Her vision was blurry due to her tears and she couldn't see much. She just began to follow the blonde blur that was Belmont's head. She was very angry and couldn't think straight. The only thing that mattered was her nephew's health at this point. She didn't even notice the blood coming out of his mouth. She reached up and wiped away her tears every so often trying to keep pace.

" It is not t'eir fault," he tried to calm her down. " A young man who we t'ought was killed in de library appeared in de halls. Belmont faced off against him and t'en I came on to de scene to attempt to help out. De young man, who I believe I heard the name Asher, held Belmont hostage and ....... Odhran... de Head of Security drove de young man who vanished," he explained.

He slowly started to regain himself and his body was calming down. He looked up at the others, coughing a little as he sat up. "Sorry...I rushed in there...half-cocked...hah..." making a jab at himself as he just allowed William to pick him up. Ne was processing everything that happened and the information he received. But one thing he knew he needed to tell them. "He said...Magi...Magi had something to do with this...I don't know how but..." he looked over at Akeen with a smile. "Thank you...I'm okay...I'll be okay..." he said and just leaned on William as he was taken. He heard his Aunt freak out and opened his eyes to her.
