Gelt was busy in his books when he realized a woman had approached him. Several books seemed to float around him words glowing on where he had stopped reading in them. Several papers littered the table now. Arcane symbol scratched across them and hundreds of words already written by several pens that seemed to be writing by themselves. Looking up his eyes locked on the tea cup infront of him. "Hmmmm?" his eyes followed the arm to the woman that had served the tea. "Oh I'm sorry for the rudeness, Thank you very much." He said his voice kind but a bit blunt as he spoke. The kind woman that had approached mentioned that should he need anything else just to ask her. He gave a soft smile. "Will do miss Thank you for the tea" he said as she turned to walk back to her desk. His eyes followed her as he noted she must have been the librarian which surprised him.
His hand gingerly reached out to the tea cup after taking his gloves off. his fingers brushing the handle the porcelain . Immediately the cup seemed to be taken hold of as the porcelain seemed to warp and change to a brilliant gold color, followed by the small saucer it sat on. The mage sighed as the cup had turned gold before him. Still he picked it up and raised it to his lips and took a sip of the tea brewed. It was a wonderful flavor and made him smile as he returned to his study.

It was a wonder to witness that, but also was a bit sad. Those were part of a set and now it would t match. She sighed and just let it go. There wasn’t really anything she could do about it."Can’t do anything about that now...” she said to herself and got up, taking several books with her. She was going to put them back on the shelves. As she was working, and was reaching to put a book back, but lost her footing. She hit the ground with a loud ‘THUD’ and groaned a bit. The Mage of Gold had settled back into studying, his hand gently reaching out every now and then to take the cup of tea and sip gingerly from it. The sweetness helped him relax as he turned his attention to the many books that either floated around him or lay open before him. He was deep in study when he heard a crash nearby in one of the aisle. he concentration broken he pulled the glove back over his exposed hand and went to investigate.
Gelt found himself walking down the aisle to where he saw the librarian had fallen. Quickly he knelt down picking up a few of the books that had fallen from her grasp. "Are you alright miss librarian?" he said he voice soothing and calm to help comfort her even in the unfortunate incident. "Let me help you"he said offering calmly his hand to help her to her feet. Up close he got a good look at her. she seemed out of place in this school but he was happy to help her.

She had interrupted his study time and that was the opposite of what she was supposed to be doing. She hurriedly started to pick up the books. "No no no! It's okay! I'm so clumsy I never know what I'm going to fumble with next! Please, it's very okay, you don't need to help!" she sighed as she held one of the books in her hands. 'The Magistrate, book of poems by Penwick, Vol 2. She put that one to the side and continued to get the books. "Please, you can go back to your studying, I promise I'm okay. Thank you very much for your help..I'll try not to bother you again..." she gave him a bright smile as she looked at the hand. She ended up taking it and got up. The Mage of Gold simply smiled to the librarian, understanding and kindness written on his face at her small stammering's caused by her shyness. "Please miss you aren't an inconvenience. Books will be here longer then those around us." he said as she took his hand. Gently he pulled her to her feet and made sure she was steady before he let go of her hand. His eyes seemed to turn to some of the books she held and was putting away. Not ones that usually caught his interest, he did take note of the poems book that she had set aside. He thought it had looked familiar, he had a copy of all the current volumes up to the recent release. His eyes and face definitely made it obvious he showed interest in the book before he turned back to the librarian. "I do believe these are yours" he said as he produced the books he held when she finished putting the last book on the shelf. He was so use to carrying books he almost forgot about them.

HER book of poetry. Her face got flush for a moment as he handed back more books to her. "Th-thank you..." she said and smiled as she took it. She went to quickly put it away before kneeling and taking the book of poetry in her arms. "A-as you can see, we have academic books and...books for pure pleasure! Please, i-if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! I'm just right over there!" she pointed at her desk. "And if you want more tea, p-please ask! Gelt's eyes flashed as the librarian's face turned a reddish hue like that of a tomato. A sly smile appeared as he let out a chuckle at her embarrassment. "There is no need to be embarrassed miss, poetry is good relaxer and past time even I delve into it to escape the amount of studying I do." he said with a bit of gleeful tone in his voice. Gelt himself was completely unware that before him stood the author of the poetry book. He followed her gaze to the desk as she mentioned where she would be should he need any help or wish for more tea. "Thank you, I shall take you up on that in just a moment T need to just receive my tea cup" he said as he stepped away from the librarian.
The turn of the male caused his white hair to swing side to side in it pony tale as he returned to his desk. He took a second to admire the large stack o books that sat on the table along with his papers. He reached down picking up the tea cup and then proceeded to the desk where the librarian would sit. On his way to the desk he passed a man with a couple of ....Hamsters? The mage of Gold seemed to do a double take on the person before he headed to the desk. He placed the golden teacup and platter on the desk. "Sorry about the tea cup its comes with my......Gift"

She just planned on keeping it at the desk from now on cause...well she wasn't sure anymore. She made note of Helios and after putting the book down, she walked over. "Hello, welcome to the Library. If you have any questions, I'll be at my desk. Please don't hesitate to ask and enjoy!" she said with a smile and then went back to her desk. Once Gelt came back over with the golden teacup, she took it in her hands, being very careful with it. "Oh don't worry about it! It's just...unique now. Please don't trouble yourself with it." she got up and went to the teapot, pouring another cup of tea for him before bringing it back. "And um...I do enjoy poetry...I find it relaxing, but also very interesting and fun to read. Gelt placed his arms on the desk each of his hands seeming to grip his elbows as he watched the librarian pour some more tea into the small cup for him. The tea was a nice touch to the library as it helped settle his nerves and help him relax while he studied. Her mention of not worrying over the tea cup obviously showed in her voice and mannerisms that she was worried over the tea cup. He could reverse the effects but only after he was ready to leave. She came back over not a comment later with the teacup now full again and her talking about how she enjoyed the author Penwick. "Penwick's work is quite interesting actually, may of the poems catch my attention and help me relate, I have been on my own for a....while now but poetry does help me escape from many of the realities I face" he said gleefully.
The Mage of Gold was gonna go onto a few other authors of poetry when the young man with the hamsters approached. he seemed to ask a question about Hamsters and whether or not they had books on them or even magical ones. The Idea was entertaining in a transmutation of animal tissue. Not his field of expertise. The man then turned to look at Gelt and gave a simple greeting with a wave. which he returned in kind. "Hello to you as well."

She gave a 'hold on' gesture to Gelt and turned to Helios. "There is an stack with care of magical creatures or mythical creatures, I think that would be a good place to start? I believe it's stack 23?" she said, almost uncertain, but she was pretty sure. She looked at the hamster and gave a cute little wave and smile at the creatures. "Normally, we don't allow familiars in the library...but no one really enforces that rule? Just make sure they don't har any of the tomes okay?" she gave a bow and then turned back to Gelt. "Sorry about the wait. I'm glad you see poetry that way. I kind of dabble in writing so...I understand. I've been alone a lot of my life as well, so I understand that. That's why I enjoy books...the worlds they can take you to." she sighed and took the poetry book and just hugged it for a moment. The Mage of Gold seemed undisturbed at the fact that the librarian had to put their conversation on hold to do her job. A gentle smile crossed the mages face as he pulled the glove from his hand and gently picked up the teacup again with his bare hand. the tea cup seemed to ripple with a shimmer of gold
across its surface as he touched it. The tea was still as flavorful and alluring as last time as he brought it to his lips and took delicate sips from it almost as if he wished the liquid inside would never run out. His eyes seemed to wander to the man with the Hamsters as he was thanking the librarian for her help with locating books as to the subject he was researching. Soon he seemed to have one of the little hamsters in his hand squeaking at them before the man turned and left the two at the desk. Gelt's attention returned to the librarian his eyes settling on her.
"You need not worry about it, I am aware you have a job to do as so do I when it comes to the classes and studying." he said kindly bringing the tea cup away from his mouth and setting it gently on the small tray for the cup. Observers would note that Gelt never removed his bare hand from the cup for fear of touching and turning something else gold. The Librarians return to the topic of poetry lightened his worry and the way she held the book so precious to her close to her chest was adorable in its own way. His face though didn't seem to betray his thoughts as he still held a gentle smile. "Poetry is amazing in that its emotions, culture, and relatable to ones own circumstance. I am glad to have met another that enjoys and loves the art of words." his voice didn't betray the kindness he spoke and reveled in.
Soon the topic of conversation came to a close as she seemed to deflect many more question or conversation with a moment of shyness saying she hadn't intended to keep him here with her babbling which roused a small chuckle from the man. "Worry not miss, it is no inconvenience. You have been a most interesting person to talk to though I must return to my study should you wish to talk again you can find me at my books feel free to talk and shall respond in kind" he said Kindly. "Though it seems I have been rude. I am Gelt its been a pleasure Miss" he said as he picked up his small tea cup with platter and headed back to where he was stationed with his many books and papers.

Please let me know if you need anything else, I'd be more then happy to assist." she went toward the tea table to make more tea for Helios. She wasn't sure what she could make the hamsters, so she settled on giving them a separate cup with some water. She walked over to where Helios was sitting and set both cups down. "I apologize for the wait. Here is some tea for you while you read...and I wasn't sure what your hamsters like, so I brought some water. Please enjoy and let me know if you need anything." she smiled and gave a quick bow before going back to her desk and sitting back down. Her work was lessening as she'd done a lot of the sorting and filing that she needed to do and most of the books were away...all except that poetry book. She looked at it again and decided to just leave it there. "Hmm...guess I have a little time." she muttered and pulled out a leather bound book from her desk and opened it. Inside were what looked like poems, or the starts of some. She took a pen and started to write, trying to form the phrases and words that she needed.
