Hajime found himself in front of the Tanikage's main building, their office inside. With a shrug he stepped inside, he wasn't caring much for how disheveled he might look. Reaching inside his jacket, he pulled out a flask and took a gulp. "Aaaah...well lets see if they have any work for me." He'd tell himself, before heading to wherever the 'Kage's office was located. Waiting in the reception area.
tabHaving flown back to Tanigakure as fast as her clay sparrow would allow her, Kiyoko had hopped to the ground before her clay creation had even finished landing. On her back was the unconscious stranger. He was breathing from what the Inquisitor could tell, but it seemed haggard. As if every breath was a herculean task for the bunny man. Kiyoko carried the stranger like a back pack, her arms slung under his legs and his arms around her shoulders. She did her best to be gentle, but even being in as much of a rush as she was, Kiyoko feared she was jostling him around too much as she ran toward a building, the hospital that the Tanikage had made just hours ago. “Police business! Someone get the door!” She barked out without breaking stride. Some people by the doors to the building who weren’t paralyzed in surprise grabbed the doors and opened them wide for Kiyoko.
“Hey there Kiyo-” The Police Chief stormed by the nurse at the desk, leaving her bewildered. “-ko?” The woman honed in on one of the empty beds and took quick steps to it, her boots clacking against the fresh wooden floor. In a contrast to her urgent marching, Kiyoko gently laid the bunnyman down onto the bed and examined him, finally giving him a good once over, looking down at him and she towered above with her hands clasped behind her back.
Roughly a few inches taller than her, but still lanky enough to make Kiyoko think he was still growing. A softer face which, even twisted in discomfort as it was, betrayed his age as somewhere in his teens. It was then that the image of the massive demon flashed into Kiyoko’s mind. How could one so young get wrapped up in something so… monstrous? She shook her head; it wasn’t like she was able to point fingers about it. After her cursory look, Kiyoko softly started to pat the boy down. She removed any of the obvious ninja weapons from his being, for his own safety and for the safety of others. But after rummaging through his pockets Kiyoko would find something particularly interesting.

Standard ninja tools could be written off as just that: tools for anyone to use. But this.. Now this was interesting if not slightly worrying. Kiyoko took the boy’s hand with one of her own and produced a pair of handcuffs from her pockets with the other. Though she wasn’t entirely confident it would work once he awoke the officer clasped his wrist to the frame of the bed. “Odd fellow…” she muttered, more to herself. “What was someone like you doing in a place like this…?”
As she finished “subduing” the stranger something caught her eye. A light glow brought Kiyoko’s attention to the man’s body, allowing her to watch as a strange pattern now started to spread into view on his body.
Kiyoko took a few steps back as she formed a few handsigns and focused her own chakra. In moments a translucent frame of a woman came into existence. It was over a weird, almost ominous shade. “Lord Tanikage, my apologies for the interruption.” Kiyoko said, placing a hand to her sternum.
“What is it?” The woman snapped, her form turning to look at the officer. Kiyoko’s suspicions were correct; Usagi still hadn’t gotten any sleep since she came back. And even though the apparent frustration wasn’t something that the Tanikage expressed often, Kiyoko let it roll off of her shoulders.
“You’re needed at the hospital. You’re going to want to see this, ma’am.”
The woman said something and then sighed, a sound that continued as she suddenly appeared next to Kiyoko at the hospital with a light pop. Usagi stood next to the police officer. She was hunched over with her hand on Kiyoko’s shoulder as she let out her long sigh. “Jeezus, Yoko, it’s like everyone and their mother needs something from me today.” Even under Usagi’s weight, Kiyoko stood at a rigid attention with her hands once again clasped behind her back. “There’s, like, a million people in my office right now.”
“Such grand hyperbole is rather unprofessional, my Lady.”
Usagi narrowed her eyes and looked up at her old friend. “A million and one.” She added with a pout. That made Kiyoko’s stern expression turn up slightly as the Kage stood upright, stretching her arms over her head with a crack of her joints. “Alllllllright, what’ve we got?” She asked as she leaned over the unconscious bunnyman. Kiyoko gave a brief summary of the events that transpired after she followed the stranger.
“A tailed beast?” Usagi cupped her chin with her fingers thoughtfully. “Are you sure? I don’t think Konoha would just let a jinchuriki roam freely like that…” Usagi glanced at the boy on the bed thoughtfully. “I don’t sense anything at the moment, but we’ll send someone to investigate it. In the meantime, I’ll take a crack at the bunny over here. Buuuuttt~” Usagi turned to her friend with a sheepish smile on her face, one that Kiyoko knew all too well. It was the Kage’s trademark face that she used to try and convince someone to do something she’d didn’t want to do. “Can you go back to my office and take care of things there!? Puh-leassseeee~?”
Seeing that her friend hadn’t changed much despite her new position made the officer feel a little more at ease. However, always the professional, Kiyoko simply bowed and said, “Yes, Lady Tanikage. As you wish.”

▱▰▱Out of the one massive army of samurai and controlled yokai there were two halves. The first half was sent south to attack the Fire Empire and Konohagakure and the second half marched east to attack the Lightning Empire and Arashigakure. However, there was one smaller detachment that formed the third force. This was sent west through the Waterfall, Grass, and Rain countries into Tanigakure. The green-horn general of this smaller army of samurai and yokai approached the valley village. When he came to a stop the army began setting up the siege equipment to take the hidden valley village. In truth, the samurai wanted to purge the shinobi empires first and foremost. What they could spare after that was sent to Tanigakure to kill the third sin of shinobi which was truly encapsulated in the River Country. Most of the controlled oni in their vanguard were kappa while most of the oni and tengu were sent with the larger armies.
As Iksin made his way out of the village, from air specifically choosing the option to avoid anything nearby that might be happening. He noticed the group that was setting up to lay seige to Tanigakure. It was small thankfully, he was unsure if such a place could deal with a large scale invasion. However he noticed something...it was Yokai indeed, but it was also Samurai. This gave him quite a bit of knowledge of the situation. It seems someone from the land of iron was calling the yokai as an army and that meant that would be the next place he goes to.

tabUsagi let out a breath and rose to her feet, stretching out her back as she did. The floor was covered in seals that the woman engraved by hand one at a time. All of them went into a spiral pattern that led right back to the center: the strange bunnyman in her hospital bed. He was definitely struggling with a rampant Curse Mark, and whether or not he knew it had it was a different issue. But first things first was to get it under control. So as Usagi popped her joints after being bent over for so long, she began to focus her chakra through her body. The Kage clapped her hands together and let her chakra weave into her fuuin. In response to her energy, the seals on the ground slithered around like a snake, shrinking down as it closed in on the stranger’s body. In an instant it surrounded the pattern of his Curse Mark, forcing it to recede and lie dormant.
Usagi had just enough time to revel in her handiwork before she was interrupted by yet another astral projection. “My Lady,” he said. One of her Jonin, but she was unable to determine who. “We have forces of samurai forming outside of Tani, if we had to base off of the armor.”
“You’re ******** kidding me.” The Kage sighed, pinching the bridge of nose. She was starting to feel the effects of going without sleep for so long. “Alright, I’ll be right there, just ready up our own troops for battle.”
“Yes ma’am.” The astral projection bowed and disappeared. Usagi himself disappeared with a pop, instantly appearing on the defense wall of Tani.
As her own ninja forces readied themselves for combat, some familiar faces and some of the unfamiliar ones from the office, Usagi watched the samurai forces form. “Wow, they… don’t think much of us do they?” She wondered aloud once she got an idea of the scale of the attack. The woman waited for her own shinobi to leave the village before she made a move.
Usagi clapped her hands together and slammed them to the top of the wall, shooting her chakra through the wood and into the earth. In response to her chakra, the ground just outside of the defensive walls broke apart and erupted. A massive amount of golden chains came from the ground all around Tani, encasing it in moments within a massive dome of chakra chains. The energy expenditure and the weeks of going without sleep finally took their toll, forcing the Kage to her knees on top of the wall. Still, though, she looked over at the would be attackers with a look of pride on her face. “Make sure to give ‘em hell, everyone. I’ll catch up in a minute.”

Shin would arrive at the gates of Tanigakure alongside Maemi, quickly removing his vest and undershirt, he would stash them in the doorway of a nearby building, “So my bone techniques don’t shred them.... I’ll find them afterwards.” He’d say matter of factly if Maemi or her dad said anything. Slightly nervous about the battle, the young medical ninja would climb up to the top of the walls and look out over the amassing enemy forces. As he scanned the building crowd, something within him would spark into life. His fear of battle receded as he thought of what these creatures were here for, and likely where others were. They were here to kill him, his new fiancée,his new family, his patients... everyone. More were probably heading to Konoha too, going after his mother. As he processed all this, anger flared within him as his face hardened. His teeth grit and his muscles tightened. Then suddenly, something snapped and the young man smirked. He started to chuckle slightly, it would slowly grow until he was laughing hysterically, maniacally. Anyone that could see his face would see two spots appear above his eyebrows and lines start to spread over his skin. Maemi, if she didn’t follow him to the wall, would see the lines curve and spread over his back and shoulders as he bent backwards laughing. ‘This must be the blood curse mom was always afraid of... but this power... it’s exhilarating! These bastards think they’re gonna hurt my people here... I’m gonna rip them to shreds!’ He’d think to himself as the maniacal laughing continued.
The longer he stood there, the more he felt the power surging through him. As the lines covered his entire body, Shin would feel his bones shifting all over. People around him would see his skin turn dark as the bones of his ribs merged with his shoulder blades, growing out to resemble skeletal wings. The bones of his hands and fingers extended to make claws as spikes sprouted from his shoulders and elbows as well as from the tops of his hip bones. A skeletal muzzle extended from his nose and jaw along with a half dozen horn like spikes from the sides and back of his skull... the tops of his vertebrae extended out a** well, giving him 3 parallel rows of spikes down his spine. As the transformation started to stabilize, Shin’s hysterical laughing would calm to just a slow chuckle. Turning to look at Maemi, she would see his golden eyes had turned black as pitch. “This... should be fun...” he would say slowly, between small fits of almost psychotic laughing.
Still chuckling to himself,Shin would continue to stare out over the mass of enemies at the village’s gate, just waiting for the order to attack. What once was reluctance, even fear, now was only excitement.

Within the ranks of the Yokai and samurai walked a betrayer of sorts, one whom had joined due to discovering that forces from the land of Iron were crossing into the realm of the shinobi with war in mind. This invasion came a short amount of time before this a strange feeling had wracked Tomoe, the same feelings that compelled the Yokai to bolster the Samurais ranks. She had consulted Sun Jin about this disturbance and after a lengthy discussion, decided told perform her roll as a sage and protect the lands that she called home. Her forming into the ranks was not hard, using the guise as a ronin with yokai blood as her cover, resulting in her being being positioned with others of the sort, mercenaries and “non professionals” mostly. The issue was getting to where she wanted to be, which was near the Samurais general, the head of this snake that she intended to cut off both.
Being clad from head to toe in armour of near identical design to the Samurai she ran the risk of being attacked by the shinobi of this village, she was confidence in her defensive skill to handle that issue and either way was well aware of the risks. Due to the large number of people and long March she was hot and slightly uncomfortable in her armour as a result, something she had to Steele herself against with a grit of her teeth, she didn’t even remove her helmet even if it was simple enough to carry, an unconscious decision on her part. When they finally came to a halt and the siege weapons started being erected for the purpose of pulverizing the Tanigakure and its denizens did the Monkey Sage start to feel anxiety, unsheathing her katana Voracity and Inspecting the blade to make sure it was properly sharpened and ready for the amount of usage it was about to get.

Once they approached, she noticed Shi appeared to be focused. So she left him alone. She had learned not to bother people in the middle of training or battles. Her eyebrow rose as he started to laugh and hears her father clear his throat towards her. Maemi's arm crossed which signaled to him that she was listening. "And you want to marry him?" Her father question. Maemi smiled mischievously, "And like we aren't weird ourselves?" She questioned her father who was a stump and then grunted. Maemi reminded herself not to use her other clan techniques which was why her father and a few of her family members were here. They were Senju users. Maemi has to be careful to use only Senju techniques since no one but Shin and possibly the leader of Tanigakure knows about the Mahofu clan residing here.
Her piercing green eyes watched the samurai army as she was a bit concerned. Why now? Her family defected from the Iron Clan years and years ago, that the stories were lost after decades of generation.
tabKiyoko would be about to comment on the man’s warning of yokai just before the same astral projection that appeared to Usagi also appeared next to her. It gave the same warning of Zaishin troops as it had to the Kage, which led to Kiyoko giving the order for everyone to move as she rushed out to the battlefield. Now she stood, standing next to the tired Usagi, looking over the samurai forces. As she did, her hands fell into the pouches of clay, the hands on her palms munching away on the purple clay.
Lettting out a yawn the large woman came out of the village her shibuki in hamd as she headed to the kage and police cheif, just joining in on contract Clem didnt figure she would have to fight not even an hour after joining this place. Hell had the kage let her Clem coulda put up various defenses but being a newly appointed citizen she figured that she would have to ask first before altering the terrain. " Wow aint that a sight..hm!? Oh aint that a sight." Even from here she coul d see a few dangerous individuals. One being the monster that was clearly another on of her clansmen." Say boss think yah could screw over a whole army and lock there weapons hmm." Tamiko hadn't been in the area for long before she heard about a Samurai invasion that had begun making it's way towards the nearby village of Tanigakure. The girl figured there was a reason for the invasion, however knowing how many innocent civilians there was in the village, she couldn't stand by and watch. The girl made her way to the village gates where it seemed the samurai force had beaten her there. Tamiko looked around for the nearest shinobi with a Tanigakure headband. "Hey I'm just here to help! Don't attack me please!" She called out to a woman atop the wall who seemed to be in charge or at least a powerful shinobi given the chakra chain technique the woman had put up to protect the village. Tamiko then would form a simple hand seal to create her own crystalline armor. 'Alright gotta show them what I'm capable of!' The girl thought to herself as a source of encouragement. 'This is for you dad.'
▱▰▱Unlike the generals assigned to the Fire and Lightning assault detachments of the samurai army, the general of this smaller regiment preferred to lead from the rear. The tactician carefully planned his artillery placements along the battlefield. He walked through their established basecamp before ordering his soldiers to begin marching. The general flicked his wrist before manifesting his spirit weapon, a massive war bow made from swirling light blue ethereal energy that resembled chakra. Chakra was applied to the bow as the general drew the string back and let the mighty arrow fly. It was aimed to damage the walls outside of Tanigakure before it would threaten to pierce into Usagi's head.
After the arrow was fired, the general would command the trebuchets to begin firing on the walls. One of which launched two rounds. Each payload was a sphere of chakra as solid and sturgy as a rock. Each shot threatened the section of the Tanigakure wall that Shintoru stood over.
When the infantry began running toward the walls some of them ran from behind and held ladders for climbing the walls as the tactical general attempted to batter the village's defenses. Three of the samurai leading from the front drew their katanas and approached Tomoe. Each of them slashed their respective katanas with might and ferocity. One was horizontal aimed at the chest, one was a downward slash over the head, and another was an attempted impalement of the stomach.
After the general fired his arrow he turned to the other archers who were knelt at the back of the invading force. "Knock!" Arrows were removed from their quiver and chakra was applied. "Draw!" Then the arrows were pulled back using the string tension. The samurai general then motioned his hand before letting out his most emphatic yell. "Fire!" Hundreds of arrows enhanced by chakra soared through the air. Two of which flew toward Maemi's position.
One particularly skilled archer watched the general's arrow fly toward Usagi. He drew three arrows in his bow at once made from flaming chakra. When the arrows were released the crackling firey arrows would fly close to Usagi but would actually threaten to hit their intended target, Kiyoko.
Clementia would see the thousands of arrows raining down on the walls of Tanigakure. Two arrows contained explosive tags that were amplified with chakra and rigged to explode just before reaching their target. These arrows were aimed at Clementia.
Likewise, Tamiko would see the massive volley of arrows raining down on Tanigakure's walls. The strength of the archers allowed the arrows to fly faster and with more strength than what would be expected by the average archer. Three such arrows targeted Tamiko's section of the wall.
Due to the size of the event, each person in the post order will have 48 hours after the previous person to post. Newcomers can join the post order at any time but will be included in order after Tamiko in the following rotation. The post order can be flexible to suit our needs if necessary.

“If only I could,” Usagi answered Clem while giving the girl in the crystal armor a nod and a thumbs up. “But this time I actually want you to use that monstrosity you call a sword.” She tilted her head to smirk at the Kaguya as she rose to her feet. Finally everything was in position. The forces to defend Tani had made it and now all they had to do was wait.
They didn’t wait long, as the samurai quickly went on the attack. Time seemed to slow for Usagi as she took in a breath of air. Being a leader was something entirely new to her, but this wasn’t her first group fight. In the opening move, it was her job to pick the best course of action that would boost the morale of the rest of her squad. Arrows, lots and lots of arrows all came flying towards her village. She knew what she needed to do.
It was time to begin.
Usagi quickly formed a string of seals with one hand while watching the spirit arrow fly directly at her! She lifted her other hand and had it pointed back at whence the attack came, but aside from that she made no effort to dodge. Instead she focused chakra through her body as the arrow came flying at her! The spirit weapon collided with Usagi’s forehead and then!... vanished. Anyone that was watching her and blinked would miss it, as the arrow would suddenly reappear! This time it would be shot from her uplifted palm, flying at highspeeds towards the general that launched it! [Time-Space Barrier- S+ Rank, Cast at S] “We don’t want it!” She yelled back with a s**t eating grin.
Once done, Usagi finally finished her handseals! Allowing her chakra to fly into the air above, the clouds would start to darken and gather! Within moments rain started to fall from the sky, water with special properties to eat through the chakra of all non allies in the battlefield! [Mist Rain- S+ Suiton] It would drain away the chakra from the trebuchets, the fire arrows attack Maemi, and all but one of the arrows attacking Kiyoko.
Then Usagi simply stomped her foot to the wall, unleashing a wave of chakra from her body! The wood below her started to glow with orange-gold cracks that ran from the top down to the ground below, spreading like tree branches. The glowing cracks raced along the battlefield until they all came to a point! At which time golden chains of chakra erupted from the ground and launched out towards the samurai, stripping them of their weapons and bringing them to Usagi to seal away in an instant unless they paid the cost. [Chakra Chains: Contain- S Rank] “We do want these though! Yoink!”
▰ Time-Space Barrier [ Jikuukan Kekkei ] | Rank S+ (Cost S) Transports one whole technique through two seals via Hiraishin. Requires Hiraishin to be known. Cost is one rank lower than the cost of the technique being transported through the seals.
Second Action:
▰ Mist Rain [ Kirisame ] | Rank S+ The user makes rain which eats up any chakra when it comes in contact with anything. Breathing out, the light, darkening mist rain will spread over an area (topic), billowing upwards to prevent a jump's worth of height. Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Complex/Spiritual Tai/Buki jutsu, & Demonic auras/cloaks/etc are affected. Exactly half of the chakra absorbed is sent to sustain the jutsu, while the other half filters into the user's own chakra pool. Absorption can temporarily extend the user's chakra pool to above normal, for a maximum of triple the total. For example, if your reserves are 1,000 then it can increase it to 3,000 maximally. Lasts until [3] total posts have elapsed from the last absorption. Automatically Absorbs chakra at a rate of [320] per post from the listed sources dispersing them in a pseudo-seal fashion. However, the users own jutsu is excluded from this.
Third Action:
▰ Chakra Chains: Contain [ Kemono Fuuin: Fukumu ] | Rank S From the user erupts a plethora of golden chains. These chains are drawn to all of the weapons and armor in the area, both exposed ninja tools and ninja tools in pouches. These chains can phase through physical objects to make contact with weapons in the most direct manner as possible. Once the chains are made, which is done nearly instantly, the chains all return to the user, and all of the equipment is sealed within a vacant scroll of the user. If the user has no vacant scrolls then this technique just brings all of the items to the user's feet. The opponent may counter their weapons being sealed by paying an S-ranked amount of chakra to negate the chains for an activation.
Shin continued staring out over the oncoming forces, randomly still chuckling maniacally to himself. When he saw the trebuchet shots flying towards him, he’d laugh a little louder ‘So it begins!’ He’d think to himself as he raised his arms to destroy the chakra boulders. Then suddenly it started raining and he saw the chakra drain from the attacks. ‘Alright then, into the fray I go!’ With that thought, Shin’s skeletal wings flapped as he launched himself off the walls. Spotting the soldiers running with siege ladders, Shin would bolt for them, spinning like a top as he flew across the field, his bones extending farther to carve as much as possible along the way. (Dance of the Young Fern: spin - D rank boosted to S+) as he’d come out of the spin, he would extend his arms and swing them out in front of himself, his finger bones firing off at high speed into the crowd of soldiers, attempting to take out as many of them as he could. (Dance of the Larch: ten finger drilling bullets- B rank complex, boosted to S+ treated as spiritual in colision) all the while, the young man was laughing hysterically,reveling in the wholesale slaughter of the samurai.

Maemi looked around at her surroundings and saw Kiyoko, one of her many cousins. Kiyoko was one of the many young adults that had left the family business and they respect that. Their family doesn't force anyone to stay if they don't wish to. It seemed just when they were gathering, the samurai had launched an attack towards them. Their new leader, the one she hasn't met yet seemed to put forward for the first move. How nice of her. However, some of the arrows were still flying so Maemi did some hand signs quickly and a wall burst up from the ground, protecting everyone from the arrows that were heading towards them. Maemi started to count, "One... *thunk* ah... two *thunk thunk* three four..." Maemi trailed off. As the arrows thunked onto the wall. When she counted them and made sure that all arrows were hit, she lowered the wall once again so others could go do what they want to do. She could hear Shin as she rose an eyebrow and was slightly confused then she remembered their conversation earlier today while at work. She knew about his family, did he not embrace who he was?
Seems like Maemi will have her work cut out for her once this was all over and done.
