Brian rolled his eyes at GRAY's sarcastic remark about Krysta's offer of aid. Hearing they could leave the crate there was a relief; Brian really wasn't looking forward to having to transport it again, especially since Claydol randomly teleported out of the room, presumably back to HQ. "I'm sure we can manage, Mother," Brian said, giving a sarcastic quip right back to the AI. Turning to Krysta, he listened to her questions again before answering. It seemed this girl never ran out of questions.

"Technically, he's a failed Porygon," he said. "Yes, he's sentient, and he's intelligent enough to command Claydol and give us instructions as to what we're supposed to do. As for why he sounded sarcastic, that's because he was trying to. Not that I'm bothered; I grew up with a sarcastic younger sister, so I'm used to it." He didn't speak as Krysta listed off the fastest way to Motostoke, then try to figure out where they needed to take the Roto-Beacon. When the girl said she wasn't good with battling and asked if he could take care of it, he gave a small grin. "Of course, it's been a while since Lu and I have had a good battle," he said. "I'm sure there's a map of the area somewhere we can use to find a high poing, right?"

Krysta thinks for a moment. "well.. based on my research of the area would indicate that the watch tower ruins just a bit outside of motostoke. reports are that its haunted by ghost type pokemon but they shouldn't be to difficult. I think the really difficult thing since this is supposed to be a stealth mission is trying to avoid the camera drones in the area. Those pesky things are everywhere and its more than just the tournament people with access. the professor has people who will report to her if she sees me doing anything suspicious or dangerous. gives new meaning to helicopter parent/boss. its like omg I just want to go say high to my new friends its not that big a deal! and maybe I want to stroll through some ghastly what's it to her anyways." Krysta huffs alil as she pulls out cell phone and uses the sky taxi app. "alright they will be here shortly." Krysta goes and grabs a book off the shelf next to her station. "This is some of the data I have compiled on the wild area. but to be honest I haven't been able to spend a whole lot of time there, as the professor freaks out. so its mostly what I can gather from articles online, old papers etc. but it should hopefully be of some help"

Krysta really really wanted to ask more questions about the "failed porygon" and how such a thing could happen, but she felt she might be being a bit annoying so she refrained.

Brian listened as Krysta spoke, saying that most of her research was gathered online and from old papers. His interest was piqued when she mentioned that the watch tower ruins were rumored to be haunted by Ghost-type Pokemon; he'd always wanted to try battling one, but with Lu only knowing Fighting and Normal-type moves, it would be impossible for her to land a hit on one. Hearing that there were camera drones in the area made it all the more interesting. He wondered just what a sky taxi was, though he didn't ask, figuring he would find out soon enough. He took the book she handed to him, opening it and looking through briefly before looking at Krysta. "Would ye mind if I hang onto this for a while?" he asked. "History and research are two of my favorite things, after breeding, of course, so I would love to read this in detail."

"i Mean, I'd prefer to keep the original copies? I have made digital copies for distribution just to make it easy on everyone!" Krysta uploads the information to a SD card and hands it to Brian "Your device can probably read this. Also the taxi is about here so lets head outside. Come on Roto you pain in the neck lets go!" With a screech of an electronic processor and the sound of whirling motors the rotom flies next to krysta, it knew better than to tick her off as she could, and would have no issue reprogramming it, and it sort of hoped in its data banks that she would forget all about that. Krysta heads out side and with the door open a massive gust of wind blows through the lab which is thankfully dust free. "and That Brian, shall be our ride" Krysta says while point up into the sky at a massive CorviKnight rabidly descends towards the ground.

Brian nodded when Krysta said she would rather keep the original copies, taking the SD card she handed him, instead. "Of course, I meant no disrespect," he said, recognizing the possessiveness of a research assistant. He didn't have time to say anything else as she ushered them outside, calling to Rotom in the process. He felt the massive gust of wind, thankful there was no dust mixed in, and when Krysta pointed up at something descending, his eyes widened at the sight of a massive Pokemon he'd never seen before. "What is that, Krysta?" he asked, holding his ball cap to keep it from being blown away. Lu, for her part, stayed behind him, and when she tapped his leg, he pulled out her Pokeball and returned her, knowing how much she hated flying.

Krysta reaches down and picks up muse in her arms so she doesn't blow away. "That Brian, would be a corviknight. its a Flying/steel type. avg height is about 7 feet. although as you can see (Krysta waves at the bird landing next to them) some of them can get much, much bigger." Krysta smiled. its not every day someone was willing to listen to her ramble about pokemon stats, in most cases it was just her and the professor, other than those rare events that the professor let her go on her own. Krysta was feeling nervous and excited about this meeting for this strange GREY AI program. she wanted to talk to the professor and see if she was ok with this as GREY stated, but obviously secrecy was part of the mission. so telling the professor might cause more problem. taking a deep breathe as the Corvinight sets down about 15 feet from where the duo were standing and it stared with its seemingly angry red eye. her last thought before getting on the taxi was (The snagems are good people.... right? Their just trying to make this a fair fight against everyone else? Right?)

Krysta looks over at brian as the taxi driver hops out of the saddle that they flew in to control the corviknight. "you Ready to go brian? Its not a long trip, but its going to be spectacular if you've never seen Galar from above before!"

Brian watched as Krysta picked Muse up so the Stunky wouldn't be blown away, and his eyes sparkled a bit as she identified the massive Pokemon in front of them as a Corviknight. "So this is my second look at a Galarian Pokemon," he said. "It's far bigger than I thought a Flying-type could get, besides the Legendaries. Is this a trait that's exclusive to Galar?" He'd seen Totem Pokemon in Alola, but this Pokemon made the Totems look tiny. He noted the stats that Krysta listed off about the Corviknight, always interested to hear things about Pokemon that he didn't know before. When the massive bird landed and stared at them with a seemingly angry red eye, Brian could see intelligence behind the look, rather than anger. "Yes, I'm ready," he said, when Krysta spoke to him. "I've always loved flying, so I'm sure I'll enjoy this!" Having said this, he climbed on behind Krysta, holding on where he could so he wouldn't fall off.

Krysta laughs as they take off. "so they are understandably secret to how they get these corviknights this big. but my understanding is its a combination of selective breeding as well as a high protein and probably hormone specific diet to encourage their development. I am sure they may exist elsewhere but its unlikey that you will see so many of them. The wild Corviknights aren't this big, these are just the taxi crews special birds!" Krysta places muse in a riding pouch where she wiggles for a minute before sticking her head out the top of the bag and letting her tongue hang out. Krysta scritches muses head lightly as she holds on to the seat with her other hand. "This isn't going to take long. we are going to be about 2k up in the air. normal planes are like 20-30k. so we don't have to worry about them. I have specifically asked the pilot to land us as close to the tower as possible, which given its current state is going to be a little ways away. thankfully we can either walk or ride to the tower without much issue. as I said just be careful. there are a lot of duskull/ghastly in that area. and apparently there may be a more evolved form or 2 as well! As soon as we land can you get into contact with... That AI GREY and let them know we are proceeding?"

Brian couldn't help but smile as Krysta laughed when they took off, and he had to admit, the scene from the air was gorgeous. It had been a while since he'd been able to fly on a Pokemon's back, so this was a real treat for him. It was just too bad that Lu hated flying, or he was sure she would love the view, as well. When Krysta started to explain that the reason the Corviknight were so big was a result of selective breeding, along with a high protein and possibly hormone specific diet, it got him thinking. Could he possibly create a formula of his own to enhance not only Pokemon growth, but also power?

This was a thought for another day, as Krysta spoke again, saying how high they would be and that she'd told the pilot to land as close to the tower as possible. "Will we ride another Pokemon once we land, or take a vehicle?" he asked. He was genuinely curious as to whether Galar had Ride Pokemon, like he'd heard the residents of the Alola region used. "Aye, that's probably a good idea," he said, nodding in repsonse to her suggestion of getting in contact with GRAY once they landed. "I'm sure he'll want to know where we're putting the device, anyway."

Krysta Smiled and pointed out a gyarados that was rampaging though a lake below as they flew past, and what appeared to be a couple of seadots, under the careful watchful eye of a nuzleaf running around in some sort of unknown game. Krysta thought a moment about Brian's question. "I have my bike, do you have any means of transport? Maybe we could ask GRAY for ideas once we land." Krysta smiled at the thought of being able to show someone the sites and wonders of Galar, from an all to rare height that she herself seldom reached. All to soon they reached their destination just outside, and out of sight, of the gates Krysta quickly placed muse on the ground who was all to greatful to be back on the ground, and took a moment to regain its composure. As Krysta paid the taxi driver and gave her thanks to him, muse saw something akin to a grass hopper and chased it into some bushes. Krysta Smiled and looked at Brian. "Ok. I guess we should contact GRAY and see what he? They? it? want us to do next."

"Took the two of you long enough." GRAY spoke up from Brian's SNAG, activating the speakerphone function remotely. "You're both running out of time. The cup is just moments away from being officially started. The chairman is behind schedule so it's a miracle you actually made it into the Wild Area. Now hurry to the Watchtower Ruins, pronto. You have absolutely no time to spare. Get up to the top of the tower immediately and activate the beacon. The cup will likely be called to start before you get there so move quick before anyone spots you. If you take too long I may not be able to send Claydol to you for an easy exit." The AI explained.

It was now a race against the clock. A countdown was started and they had no clue how much time was left. If they didn't get the beacon activated the Snagems would be at a disadvantage, unable to heal their Pokemon.

Krysta whistles softly under her breathe. this reminds me of bad video game writing. "you have to be here in a set amount of time or the princess dies" Krysta whistles for muse "GRAY. What kind of, if any transportation options do we have? Do I have enough time to bike there? what about Brian? I am worried about the Ghastly and Duskull and their possible bigger siblings in the area as well..."

"Biking may take awhile. Brian does have a device called a Hoverboard. It's meant for one person but you both could likely fit on it if you both sat down. You'd just need some sort of external initial propulsion to get it moving due to the added weight." GRAY replied. Suggesting a rather improvised method of transport.

Brian was amazed by the sights as Krysta pointed out some of the Pokemon below them. He nodded when she said she had her bike, but he was wondering how long that would take, with how far away they would have to land. After they landed, when she asked if he had a means of transport, he was about to shake his head when he remembered the hoverboard he'd been given when he accepted his Snag Machine.

Before he could respond, however, GRAY piped up from his SNAG, mentioning said hoverboard and telling them it was now a race against the clock. When GRAY suggested the two of them could fit on the device while sitting, Brian took the chance and brought it out, unfolding it and waiting for Krysta to get on before doing the same. This done, he let Lu out and spoke to her. "Lu, use Tackle on the Hoverboard to get us moving!" he said, and the Riolu nodded before obeying, giving the Hoverboard enough power to get moving before Brian recalled her so she wasn't left behind.

Soon however they were Slowing down somewhat of a short distance of less than a few thousand feet. "Ok my turn! Make sure to hold your riolu tight there brian this is going to be explosive!" Krysta says She picks up muse and whispers in her ear and the stunky nods. She quickly runs to the tail of hover board. Krysta starts vigorously rubbing ata the base of the stunkys tail and muse makes a face as she passes a horrible smelling purple cloud of what appears to be some sort of gas. "alright good girl! now." Krysta says with a gleam in her eyes "Initiating alternative propolsion methods experiment #1. I call it it Cooking with gas!" Krysta pulls out a small lighter and a tiny fan from her pack and Lights Muses gas on fire. With a sudden violent burst of speed they are once more excelling towards goal. "WHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEE" she screams clearly delighted with her experiment.
