I would still watch the movies even if the actors were replaced (I mean, it's HARRY POTTER! Of course I'll watch!!), but it would be strange since I've gotten so used to those particular people being Harry, Ron, Hermione, etc. and now, if you see a pic of them, you'd automatically think, It's Harry! (etc.) So that would be really strange and not as acceptable/adaptable as Dumbledore's replacement. But of course that was a necessity. hehe. 3nodding

I don't know if I'd stop watching the movies but it'd make a difference and I know many people would stop watching it because it'd be stupid replacing all the main characters after so many years of filming.
I did not like the Dumbledore in 4th year, he was so cold, and he practically threatened Harry, once his name had been called from the Goblet of Fire. I was shocked, "This couldn't possibly be dumbledore?" But I had been fooled. I hope that they do replace him, despite being a good actor, he needs to work on his temper.

i totally agree with Aquila15...i didnt read the other three pages, but the new dumbledore really has to be replaced...seems he just found his inner youth in the fourth movie stare

I would probably disown the movies.
I mean, how can /anyone/ but Alan Rickman be Snape??? He's just too perfect! heart sweatdrop And the same with McGonnagall and Remus and Sirius!
My only problem is that 1)Harry has /green/ eyes, for heaven's sake... it wouldn't be such a big deal but for the fact that a)It's important that he has his mother's eyes and JKR said it'd be important, and b)ever heard the expression "the eyes are the windows to the soul"?? Since we're dealing with Horcruxes - made by splitting your soul - that could very well be major plot here. Oh, and 2) I think they quite got wrong the casting for Dumbledore v2. He's supposed to be a bit tougher now, yes; but also kind. He's way too rough. I thought he was going to strangle Harry in GoF. Ian McKellan should so have gotten the part when Harris died. (he's had experience as a wizard anyways!) Harris to me is always going to be the better Dumbledore. He's the grandfatherly type who can also be stern when he needs to be. He actually shows emotion.
