[ Amputated Freckle ] Lord Thatlatu of the Tofu [ Amputated Freckle ] Shrocomemos [ Amputated Freckle ] Whoah Weird So you'll be 13 in 8th grade? O.o Yes. Well, after November in 8th grade.
See, if I was born a month later, I would be in 6th grade right now.
D: I would have been a year young for my grade (since I started kindergarten at 4) if I hadn't switched to a pulic school that wouldn't let me into 1st grade because I was "too young" Holy s**t! Me too! I aced kindergarten TWICE. Then, they wouldn't let me skip grades either, even though I've been way ahead of my "peers" for years. In fact, I MIGHT be able to take Calculus next year. Then, I'll be ahead of everybody, even the Germans. Then, the year after that, I'll just take some easy college math class and CADD, as well as my senior year. The best part: if you can make it through Calculus EVER, you can make it through any math class. If you can make it through calculus your Sophmore year in highschool (remember, a lot of people don't take this class until freshman or sophomore in college, if they take it at all), you basically just totally pwned the entire world with just one class. Same here, especially since I was like the only kid who could read Dumbasses I'm doing Geo/Trig Honors freshman year, Pre-Calc sophomore year, Calc junior year, and I think Calc 2 senior year Not sure yet, though Most kids in my state are at my level of math in junior year I weep for our generation Yeah. I wish I could have just tested out of Geo and gone into Pre-Calc this year. Geo is SOOOO easy. A few buttons on a calculator and some easy in-your-head math and you've got it covered. I'm NEVER teaching geometry if I become a teacher. We'd have 3 classes, then the rest would be review days and test days.

[rant] My mother's a moron.
You people--any of you--can tell me it's out of love. It's out of protection. It's out of something else. I should care about her anyway. Seriously, there is no reason to apart from the fact that we share part of the same chemical makeups.
So.
Anyway.
She will consistantly say, "You can do this." I will say, "Is it alright if I do _____. (In this case, it's going out to breakfast--five minutes from here--with NiBu. FIVE MINUTES. AN HOUR BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS. I think we'd be fine.)" She says, yes. Be careful.
THE DAY BEFORE I DO IT???? (In this case, about 7 hours before hand.) "I don't think it's a good idea..... I'm really uneasy.... You didn't even give me a choice....." Yeah, yeah, yeah. Then say no right off. You obviously didn't have a problem making said choice NOW, then, did you?
Not to mention the unbelievable awkwardness of calling NiBu at about 11:15 at night to tell him that my mother's insane mentality is prevailing once again.
"You can eat breakfast here. You do all the time." Like ******** I do.
I drink iced tea. I think once or twice have I eaten things--either becaus I'm really hungry, or because I need to eat something like applesauce to take medication.
That's not breakfast.
That's crap.
Why were we doing this?
(a) Togetherness, which we aren't getting a lot of lately.
(b) Our first hour is serving breakfast. We'd rather have better breakfast than the bagels and cream cheese, especially served by people we don't like. Imagine that. So.....
What am I told?
"Well, then you're supposed to be at school, so you'll be at school!" I have NO IDEA where that came from. I have to be at school at 7:20. (Which I think is crap anyway. But whatever.) I was GOING to be at school at 7:20.
She has done this three or four times--in the past 2.5 weeks!
I wouldn't mind as much if she would (a) have at least ONE good reason (that's all I ask for is one reason beyond "Because I'm a paranoid b***h") or (b) if she would do it more than a day beforehand.
If she had said this yesterday, would I have been pissed? Hells, yes.
THIS pissed?
Gods, no.

My dad has everyone on AIM blocked from IMing me. So everytime I want to IM a friend or they get a new screenname, I have to get him to unblock them. And it's only IRL friends, cuz they ask me who it is and their last name. (Which is why I like people with their last names in their screenname.)

How is it that you can't unblock people yourself? D; Anyway, why is he so uber-protective? grr@overprotective parents I would never get childblocks or anything No point in shielding your children from reality when they're oging to experience it eventually

Because parental controls override personal controls. mad Believe me, I've tried.
And he thinks I'm gonna get raped by IMing people. Yeah, like my computer has a male reproductive body part.
