KisaThe Beacon of Light
Kisa suddenly felt ice cold. A shudder ran down her spine. It felt like it was so cold that her heart had stopped. And then an overwhelming feeling of pressure washed over her, making her feel like a huge boulder was crushing her down to the floor. She put her hand to her chest, sinking down to the floor, the pressure making her so uncomfortable that she fell to her knees. It wasn't exactly painful, but it was still overwhelming and hard for her petite form to handle.
"Aa..." The angel squeaked out softly, grabbing her chest harder because it felt like she couldn't breathe. What... What WAS this madness? She had never felt anything so heavy in her life.... or anything so... so terrifying....
And then it was gone. Just like that.
Kisa shakily forced herself to stand back up, realizing that there was water in her eyes. She brushed them away, trying not to lose herself and just cry. She had never been so scared in her life. Was that really just a small taste of Josef's power? That... That couldn't be possible for him to stay here and.. and terrify everyone! Not to mention control everyone...
She looked at Prism and felt a pang of guilt. She looked even more scared than herself. Just seeing Prism's mortified expression made Kisa want to kick Josef's a** out into the street. It was her job to keep everyone safe...! He really HAD to get out of here...
But how could she do that? it would betray everything the Heavenly Hotel stood for. This place was about redemption... so even though he was completely terrifying, maybe he just needed a chance.... How could she turn anyone away? Her family would be ashamed of her if she quit now... but she was so scared...!
The pastel girl gently hugged Prism, wanting to comfort her and at least try to make her less scared, hopefully... even though she herself was terrified, too. She wanted to say that it would be okay, but she didn't want to lie because she honestly had no idea.
Kisa tried to bite back her eyes watering again and took a deep breath, and glanced to Thorival, trying not to look frightened but it showed through a little.
What in the hell were they supposed to do, now?

Prism Prism tried to keep her eyes from watering, because she knew just by Kisa's expression how bad she felt about all this, but the tears managed to slip down her face anyways. Her bottom lip trembled as she buried her face onto Kisa's shoulder, gratefully accepting her hug.
Part of her felt so full of shame for being so scared, even though she knew anyone would be terrified of Josef. Prism also knew it would make Kisa doubt everything this hotel was made to do, and she wanted to be strong for her, and everyone else, but she just wasn't.
She wasn't strong, at all. She never had been that type of person. Prism was always soft, and childish, and part of it made her angry, but she was more upset than angry. Ever since she was younger she had always wanted to help people, but it frustrated her that she couldn't.
Right now wasn't the time to dwell on herself though, so she tried to pick herself up the best she could for Kisa.
"We'll figure something out... I know we will." She replied softly, trying to smile a little for her. You could tell she was still terrified, but she was smiling anyways. If she couldn't help, she would still support, because it was all she knew how to do.

Thorival Reseria
The Angel falls to the floor after the oppressive aura hits him like a freight train. All the color draining from his tanned face turning him ghost white. His knuckles bone white and his form shaking like a leaf.
Fear fills his entire being as this aura of malice just completely, and utterly enraptures him. Only thought in his mind is to GET THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS GUY.
After the aura dissipates, his mind goes back to thinking logically about his duty, and his job. With a huge amount of effort, he shakily brings himself back to his feet and stands with his weapons drawn, moving in a defensive stance in front of the two angels... However.... Josef has left.
Thorival turns to Kisa, tears down his cheek from sheer and utter panic.
"Kisa, please let's retire and discuss the next days... activities. We need a game plan for this..."
Thorival's legs visibly shaky, he staggeringly walks up to her and puts his hand on her shoulder.
"Please.... I'm scared...."

KisaThe Beacon of Light
Kisa still bit back tears as they left and went to a private room to talk about what in the Hell had just happened. She continued to wipe them away, trying hard to remain calm.
She exhaled, looking to Prism and Thorival.
"I-I'm not sure what we can do... because we're literally preaching that any Demon is welcome here as long as they follow the rules, and technically he hasn't broken any.... h-he's just talking for the most part, no one is actually injured..."
Kisa tucked a gathering of pastel hair behind her pointed elf ear, still scared anyway.
"We can't tell them we quit just like that, the angels are depending on us... B-But we definitely at least have to call for reinforcements.... Maybe they can spare one or two more angels to help... we have to try something just in case Josef gets out of hand... b-but until he actually physically does something I don't feel like we can k-kick him out...."
Kisa looked to Prism. "D... Do you think you can stay here, or do you need to go home? We won't blame you if you want to go back to Heaven." Prism was even younger than she was, and she was worried this was too much for the poor girl. Because quite frankly, this was too much for Thorival and Kisa too, but they were higher rank and had higher responsibility. Prism technically wasn't obligated to stay here.
And then she looked to Thorival. "Should we request more guards, too..? I-I'm not sure even ten angels could be a match for him, i-if he's really as powerful as we think... maybe we need an archangel.... but they're not going to be happy with us i-if we have one of the archangels to come down here..."
"The other th-thing is... maybe if we cater to his whims a little bit, m-maybe he will stay calm...? But we can't let him run the hotel, we still have a job to do... I'm really sorry, I have no idea what to do here... Father and Uncle are going to be really disappointed in me...." Kisa looked down shamefully, feeling helpless that they got a Demon of the 7th Hell right off the damn bat. They were either really naive to think this wouldn't happen, or just plain stupid. But she really wanted to make her Father and Uncle's dream a reality....
but at what cost?

Prism The white-haired angel wasted no time following Kisa and Thorival to the other room, giving a glance back at room number one before they had left the area.
Prism listened silently to Kisa, and found that she was indeed correct. They couldn't get rid of Josef unless he did something physically. Another thought crossed her mind though, would Josef really just pack his things and go like that? She hoped he would, maybe he would just get bored eventually anyways..? The man had seemed like he was just here for entertainment of sorts.
Her ears perked up as Kisa spoke her name, her blue eyes looking up to meet the angel's own. She began to fidget with her tail a little, letting the question sink in.
It was very true this was a lot for her, she wouldn't deny that, or the fact she was scared out of her mind being here. At the same time though, it would be like admitting the fact that she was incapable of providing assistance. It would also mean letting Josef win by scaring her out of hell.
It felt like a betrayal to Kisa and Thorival, but most of all, she felt like she was betraying herself.
"I can stay, I don't need to go h-home."
Prism released her poor tail, which was now all ruffled from her nervous fidgeting.
"I-I'm sure the other angels would understand if you asked for little more help, r-right? We're dealing with a demon lord, which isn't an easy task." She offered, trying to think about what steps or actions would help this mess.

Thorival Reseria
The Paladin in armor brings his hand up to his chin in thought while he contemplates the question. Remembering that such a thing as Archangels, the elite of the elite. Sounds like something that Thorival might have to even train for... If his redeemed status will allow the persecutors against himself would even let him.
"That... Sounds like we need that. An Archangel would make sure that he would be kept in line. Even removed if it comes down to it."
With more confidence, he straightens his back.
"Kisa, let us call and request aid. Would they even have an Archangel at the ready to even assist us?"
Thorival walks over to Prism and pats her head.
"Everything will be alright, especially since Thalas will approve of the Archangel..."

Josef
The next day, the Demonlord leaves his room with a large yawn and walks out to where the breakfast buffet is. At first he is all hyped up to see what's there until he notices it's nothing but fruits and vegetables.
"What the hell is this..."
He continues walking around, looking for some protein and he can only find some savory fruits like Avacados. After grabbing some of the savory veggies, he goes to a seat that's among others arranged in a circle formation, with a round table in the middle.
Josef then uses his fork to solemnly poke at the broccoli and cauliflower and just sighs.
"Kisa, is there anything that isn't weak soul food?"

KisaThe Beacon of Light
Kisa smiled with relief at Prism. "Th-Thank you... I'm glad... but if it ever gets to be too much, don't hesitate to ask..." Kisa kind of wished she herself could just go back to Heaven already... this Hell place was terrifying and they had only met 3 demons so far...
It's pretty clear this is too much for me to handle, I wished Father and Uncle hadn't insisted on this... I don't want to fail them...
She honestly felt guilty for Prism staying, but she couldn't deny she NEEDED the help BAD. It was going to take multiple angels on duty to observe and help keep tabs on this new problem-'child' demon. Hopefully her uncle didn't get too upset they needed to call in reinforcements.
She looked to Thorival, "I-I'm honestly not sure, but it doesn't hurt to ask... I'll request an Archangel, or a couple Angels. Hopefully one of the two will be enough to... encourage... good behavior." Kisa smiled nervously, unsure of just how bat-s**t insane Josef was. Would he really challenge a whole groupie of angels? Or an archangel? Who knew, he was unpredictable at this point in time....
She sighed a little, standing up and dusting off her skirt. "I'll work on contacting Uncle Thalas tonight and get an answer by morning. You two should try to get some sleep. Lock your doors, please. Goodnight!" Kisa tried to smile genuinely, but there was still a lace of fear in her face. "See you in the morning~"
----
Zuni dragged her a** out of bed and sauntered downstairs to take advantage of the free food... She really didn't want to get up, but she knew Josef would only keep harassing her in their room if she didn't. She let out a long sigh, dark circles under her eyes. She was riddled with bruises, and everything hurt. She wanted to shank Josef for attacking her and roughing her up... but honestly him beating on her was probably the most sane outcome after Wynter pissed him off enough to make him go apeshit. He could have attacked one of the angels or tried to murder Wynter. But even though her getting beat was the best option, it still didn't make her any less pissed off about it.
She looked at the buffet and just started loading up a plate full of fruit. Yes yes yes YES please. Then she got another plate full of carrots. This food was awesome, people mostly just had junk food down here, no one ever had fruits let alone veggies.
The only thing it was missing was alcohol... And Zuni wanted some BAD. She needed something to take the edge off her pain. Ughhhhhh please.... everything hurt, she felt like s**t, why can't there be some booze...
Maybe I can just walk down the street and get some out of the vending machines... She thought, and as soon as she thought it she was determined to do it. After all, no one would even be able to tell she had been drinking anyway because by the time she got drunk enough, she would be asleep in her bed. There was no way she was sleeping if the pain stayed this strong.
Besides, how would these dumb little angels notice anyway? It's not like they were checking coat pockets or anything.... They were pretty stupid to ban drugs and alcohol, but not check pockets... these guys were idiots if they actually expected every demon to just follow the rules without checking.
"Oh.. Umn..." Kisa looked at Josef nervously. "I made cinnamon rolls, and I make desserts for dinner... but we encourage healthy food here. We don't provide very much meat. And no junk food. Being healthy is really important to help cleanse the mind, body, and soul!" She brought out the fresh made cinnamon rolls and set them out. "Please enjoy~"
Zuni didn't need to be told twice, she took four cinnamon rolls on a third plate and just started going ham on her food. Gluttony was her absolute favorite sin to partake in!

Josef
".... Cinnamon Rolls.... That's really it? You don't have any steaks or some sort of chips or even maybe gruel? I mean I can eat anything you throw at me... I just prefer meat. Young. Meat."
Josef takes a huge head of broccoli and shoves it in his mouth and chomps down.
Faint knocking can be heard on the door to the Hotel. A muffled voice manages to seep through the wood of the door.
"let me in let me innn"

Prism Her white ears flattened against her head as Thorival patted her head, smiling a little bit.
"Thank you"
Prism smiled softly, feeling a little better about this whole situation already. If they could get an Archangel to assist them, maybe this wouldn't be all that bad. Surely Josef wouldn't go that far, right? She REALLY hoped he wouldn't.
"Alright Miss Kisa, I will. Sleep well!" The neko chirped with a smile, bowing her head to both Kisa and Thorival before she made her way to her room.
Prism was hoping she would sleep at least a few hours after all this.
---
Early the next morning, Prism had been working hard to maintain the cleanliness of the hotel, double checking everything before she attended to some of the kitchen duties. She had helped put out some healthy things for breakfast, and she was currently cleaning the kitchen so it could be clean and ready for dinner preparations.
The girl had always enjoyed cleaning, and it was far better than interacting with people, especially the demons that now resided here. It gave her a chance to recharge her social battery in a sense.
So, she passed the time by humming as she did dishes or scrubbed the counters.
Wynter Wynter had tried to resist the urge to go grab some beer all night, but Josef had really shook her last night. Alcohol was her only relief and crutch she had for her mind. Whenever she stayed completely sober too long, memories and other s**t she didn't want on her mind came bubbling back up. The bottle took those things away for a while, and that was the reason she had let alcohol become something she not only wanted, but NEEDED.
In the middle of the night, after she had tossed and turned for a few hours, she gave in to the protest her body was giving. She left the hotel for an hour, grabbed enough booze to last her a while before the angels would crack the whip on their rules, ad drank until she couldn't be bothered by anything, past or present.
And now she was paying the price for it.
"Urgh, ********!"
Her head hurt like a ******** as she stumbled and fell out of the sheets in her room, throwing on a sweater and beginning to hide all the bottle laying around. She slit the mattress open, shoving about three bottles of vodka inside and covering it back up with the sheets. She hid the other three bottles of beer she had left under the small bathroom sink.
As she walked past the mirror, she took note of her messy hair and the bags under her eyes. If the angels asked, she could just say she had a rough night's sleep. Hopefully she didn't reek too bad of alcohol, the sweater she had thrown on was clean. Well, Kisa did say they she didn't have to sober up until today.
She walked out of the room, rubbing her right eye as she made her way to where Kisa had told them was where they would find food during the tour. Upon seeing Josef, her body was almost painfully reminded of the night before. Chills went down her spine, but she simply grit her teeth and walked over to the food, head pounding from the nasty hangover.
He can say whatever the ******** he wants, I just want food and then I'm going right back to my room. He made his message very clear.

KisaThe Beacon of Light
Kisa blinked at him, trying not to look scared after yesterday but she was definitely cautious as hell not to piss him off the way Wynter did if she could help it. It wasn't a completely ridiculous request and he was semi-polite about it so she didn't mind catering to his request.
"Umn... No, I'm sorry, I'm afraid we really don't stock much meat here... You're welcome to bring in properly cleaned meats in if you like, but there's strict rules on it. It has to be cleaned, cut, and packaged. It has to be only certain kinds of animals... no people... or anything like that... A-And it has to go through a screening process to make sure it's not laced with drugs or anything unsavory. I-If you can play by those rules and want to bring in some bacon or steaks or sandwich meats, you're more than welcome to let Thorival know and I'm sure he'd be happy to do the screening for you. We only have limited fridge and freezer space though, so keep that in mind as well."
The pastel angel looked towards the door. It sounded like someone was saying 'let me in' over and over... Who the hell could that be? She was a bit nervous it could be another archdevil, so she inched closer to the door to see who it was. Once she got to the door she got pretty damned scared, her hand shaking lightly as she put her hand on the handle and opened the door like an inch to see who it was.
"W-Who is it...?" Please not another archdevil please not another archdevil PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF THE HEAVENS DONT LET IT BE ANOTHER ARCHDEVIL.

Demitrious Von Varibon Reseria
Banging on the door is the look of a desperate man, his eyes widen while while his black hair being disheveled with hairs sticking out every way it possibly can. It is very evident that this man hasn't bathed in weeks, his clothes torn from the denizens of Hell.
"LET ME IN THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE REDEMPTION HALL RIGHT?! LET ME IN I SAY, THE DEMONS WILL GET ME AHHH YOU CAN'T LET A FALLEN ANGEL PERISH LIKE THIS RIGHT?!"
Black tears stroll down his cheeks.

KisaThe Beacon of Light
Kisa's eyes widened a bit, really shocked to see someone so unsightly at their doors on only the second day of being open. Uhhh.... who was this guy? He was frightening her a little with all of his yelling. Could this be another crazy mo'fo like Josef...? She wasn't sure, but she couldn't turn away a desperate soul pleading for help.
"U-Umn yes, this is the Heavenly Hotel... " She said softly, praying inside of her pure little head that this wasn't another insane person, and she stepped aside to open the door fully to allow him inside. "Please come in, sir."
As soon as he scrambled in, she closed the door again. "Are... Are you alright? Is someone chasing you?" He looked rather terrible... "Come on, let's get you cleaned up... this way." Kisa gestured down the hallway, and looked to Prism as she walked by, feeling REALLY uncomfortable going anywhere alone with some demon she didn't know. "Would you mind helping me out, please, Prism?" She asked, and then lead the dirty fallen angel down the hallway to room number four, unlocked the door, and brought him inside so he could clean up in the bathroom with the fresh towels.
She got one wet and wrung it out, and then gently started blotting the dirt and black tears off of his face.
"M-My name is Kisa, and this is my friend Prism. May I ask what happened to you, sir?" She asked, genuinely concerned for his well being but also scared he might be a raging psychopath.
If he goes crazy like Josef, Prism can run and get help if he attacks me.
While all of the commotion was going on, Zuni slid over to Wynter and very stealthily slipped her a wad of cash. "Yo, lemme buy some off you." Was all she said, wanting some of the alcohol she was pretty damned sure Wynter had, since she was VERY aware of what someone being really hung over looked like. And who could blame her after Josef almost smoked her a**? Whatever the case, Zuni just really wanted alcohol to take the edge off. Like NOW.
