Jin gave her a small smile back. He was surprised that another of the warriors was in the Capital. He had seen the royal advisor several time, and he never knew he was a fellow warrior. Suboshi just pushed it back from his thoughts, actually a bit relieved he didn't have to try and protect the priestess all by himself. "See, everything is working out, Lady Tatsuko."

Tatsuko nodded, still smiling as she walked out of the Audience Chamber, headed for the Seiryuu Shrine. "This is wonderful! Now, I can find my friends and the other warriors. Everything will be alright now!" She was almost skipping as the warrior led them to the shrine. Everything will be alright again... I can find my friends... I can help Jin and the Emperor... and everyone in the country. Granted, she wasn't much for fame and fortune, but actually being recognized for her hard work... that, she did like.

He smiled, glad she seemed to be in higher spirits. Truthfully he had been worried for her, afraid she wouldn't be able to handle the stress. "Yes, you needed worry for your friends, I'm sure they will be fine." Suboshi patted her softly on the shoulder. He kept a wary eye out, he knew, realy, that no harm could befall the priestess in the castle proper, but it was his job to keep her safe. Jin had never relly care about anyone, and he was determined to change that with Tatsuko.

Tatsuko blushed slightly, still smiling as she nodded once again. "I just hope they didn't end up in some bad place to where they could get hurt." She was still worried about them. Probably more than ever. But, right now, the only thought going through her mind was that she had already found two warriors, which would mean that she could find them that much quicker.

They soon arrived outside of the doors of the Seiryuu shrine, at which point the warrior left, saying he was not worthy to enter the shrine. Tatsuko paused for a moment, looking over at Jin. "Well... I guess we should go in, huh?"

Jin nodded, "Yes, we should pay our respects." He smiled a bit and opened the doors for her. "After you priestess..."

Jin stayed behind her, looking around the shrine. He'd never actually been inside, only left offerings on the temple steps. He felt a bit excited to even be inside the shrine. He'd wanted to come in to pay his respects since he was small, but he'd always been to nervous to enter.

Tatsuko was a bit nervous. True, she had been in a shrine before. There was a really nice Shinto shrine a few blocks away from her home. She would go down there once a week and pay her respects, mostly asking for assistance from her mother. It was silly, but when she prayed, it always made her feel better. Like her mother was right there. But here... she didn't get that feeling.

As she entered the shrine, she began to look around, taking in what she could see. There was a large dragon statue near the far wall. Tatsuko guessed that it was a figure of Seiryuu, which was correct. It seemed a bit cold inside, which was kind of refreshing. She saw the two treasures that the Emperor had mentioned on a pedestal near the dragon's claws. Tatsuko walked up near to the statue, to gaze upon it. She stood before it, before lowering herself to her knees, and bowing. If she was going to be the Priestess of Seiryuu, she had atleast better get on the God's good side.

Suboshi got his knees and offered a prayer he'd been taught since he was a small boy. Please watch over us, and give us the strength to get through the crisis that befalls us. Then, he looked at the praying form of the priestess, so he added, and please give me the strength to protect her. He stayed there a few more moments in quite reflection, then stood and went to the door. He was a guardian, first and foremost, and he wouldn't have the priestess' prayers interrupted.

With her hands clasped in front of her, Tatsuko continued to pray to the dragon god. She vaugely heard Suboshi stand up and leave, though her mind was focused. Her prayer was complicated. She prayed for the safety of the kingdom. Tatsuko hadn't been here all that long, but all the people she had met thus far were kind. She could already feel herself being drawn to them. To want to protect them. To want to help them. So, that was what she was going to do.

She also prayed for the safety of her friends. While she knew Suboshi was right, that they probably were perfectally fine in the other countries, she couldn't help but worry. They were in the world of the book, she finally admitted that this was another world, because of her. If she hadn't wanted to go study, then they would still be in Japan. She didn't know if Seiryuu would be able to grant that prayer, but it was best to double check.

Finally, she prayed for the unknown Celestial Warriors, and hoped that she would be able to find them soon. If she could find them, then she could make the wishes of the kingdom and herself come true. Secretly, she wondered what they would be like. As she said this part of the prayer, Tatsuko added on that she hoped she would be able to do her best as well. She didn't want to fail.

After a few moments, Tatsuko stood up, slowly. She was surprised. She had the same feeling she always had when she was praying at the Shinto Shrine. Tatsuko hadn't expected that to happen. I guess I really am supposed to be the Priestess of Seiryuu... She carefully put her hands on the pedestal, testing to see if there was something around the two treasures or not. When nothing happened, she picked up the mirror and pair of earrings, holding them close to her. She would put the earrings after she left the shrine.

Tatsuko stepped away from the statue, and bowed deeply. "Thank you," she said before slowly walking out of the shrine. She was ready...

Suboshi watched the new Priestess come out of the shrine with the Seiryuu Shinzaho and the hand mirrior. "My Lady, we should prepare for a journey. We need some supplies and such. Maybe we should prepare today, get a good night's rest, and start the search tomorrow. I can have a room prepared for you at my home."

He smiled a bit and looked out over the city, "It might take awhile to get used to for you, since it stays light all day. But you'll get used to it, I'm sure." He started down the steps.

Tatsuko nodded, smiling. "That sounds like a good idea. I'm afraid I don't know much about the sort of supplies that are around here, but I would like to go along. I could use the education." She really did need to learn more about the people around here. And what better way than to go out and talk with them.

She paused for a moment, to remove the earrings she had been wearing. Technically, she had two sets of ear piercings, but Tatsuko didn't wear any in the second set. So, she put the small pair of studs she had in her first set, and moved them to her second, allowing her to wear the Seiryuu Shinzaho. They felt odd... almost heavy for their size, but still very light at the same time. It was an interesting sensation.

Suboshi nodded and lead her back to the carriage they had come in. He helped her up to sit down, and told the driver to take them to the marketplace. He climbed in and sat across from her, "It will take a few moments to get to the market from here. You needn't worry about money, I have enough to get what ever we need, and I have my horse, if you don't mind riding with me. Are there any other questions Lady Priestess? Anything else you want to know? I'm sure it will do you well to get into the city and meet some people here. They will see you as a hero you know, the girl who's come to save us."

Following Suboshi and hopping into the carriage with his help, Tatsuko smiled. She didn't mind the ride. She was a bit glad, really. She really wasn't sure what to ask, so she would start with the basics. "Thank you. Umm..." she said as she tried to think of something to ask. The one time when her normally inquisitive mind would be itching to find the answers, it was instead a complete blank. She blushed slightly, embarressed about this fact. "Sadly, I can't really think of anything to ask. I guess I'm still shocked about all of this."

Suboshi chuckled, "It's alright, I'm sure you'll come up with something eventually." He pointed out the window and showed her some of the landmarks as they were going by, including the monument to the first Priestess of Seiryuu. The enclosed patio in the middle of the square was, even now, covered in flowers and candles. "Gifts to the first Priestess." He said softly, "And if you and your friends can save us this time, I guarantee your shrine will have so many offerings it will clog the streets."

Tatuko looked at the shrine to the first Priestess, biting her lip slightly. It was beautiful, with so many blue flowers surrounding it. She wanted to stop, to look at it, but decided perhaps on the way back. She glanced back at Suboshi, and smiled softly. "We'll be able to do it. I'm sure of it. Don't worry, Jin." She really did want to succeed. She was going to succeed. She had to. "I have a question now... what was the name of the first Priestess?" If the first Priestess had been sucked into the book like she and her friends had, maybe Tatsuko would know who she was.

"The first priestess' name was Yui... Yui Hongo. She's well known through out Kutou, as are the first celestial warriors. That time was filled with light and darkness, but the priestess saved us from ourselves." Suboshi smiled, "I wish I would have been able to meet her... I'm sure she was an amazing woman."
