Anessa heard a sound and felt her shirt being tugged on as she turned in her chair, "Oh, hello there... uh..." she looked for a sticky note, then turned back, "Hello Caprice, how was your nap?" She asked kindly as she smiled, "Cody is currently in a meeting right now, he should be done soon, can i get you anything to drink?" She asked kindly to her, figuring she was probably thirsty.

Anessa nodded as she asked that and she nodded, "Of course you can." She said as she would stand up and gently took the little girl's clawed hand carefully and waked with her to the break room. They didnt have anything much beside a coffee machine and soda machine, so all she could really do was go to the water cooler and get her a cup of water since she wasnt sure if she was allowed any soda. She smiled giving her the little plastic cup, "Here you go and if you want more, just put the cup under here and press this button. But dont press the buttom without the cup or else you'll make a mess, that will get your daddy in trouble." She explained carefully so the girl would now.

Cody soon finished with the meeting but as he was walking the business men out, he heard Caprice and paniced some but would gently knell and pick her up when she went to him, "Hi sweetheart, Im sorry the meeting was longer then i expected." He said softly but the man he was escorting out saw Caprice, speaking in a foreign language, which his translator, a woman from their country spoke, "We didnt realize you were a father, or that you were even married." She said as Cody smiled, "Um, no actually, not married, but I adopted this little one after a little trip. She was in terrible living conditions and well, people mistreated her for being physically different. She gained trust in me and now i take care of her... though, im still very new to the whole father thing." He explained, the woman translated but the man smiled, speaking again, the woman translated, "Well then im sorry for having made the meeting so long, I wanted to continue to make sure you were a man i could trust who worked so hard to build this bridge between our companies. Judging by youre little one, and the fact you take the role of an adopted father so seriously, I believe the deal is in good hands." He said as he bowed some, "Thank you sir." Cody said as the man took his leaveas Cody gently smiled to Caprice, "Looks like your cuteness helped daddy out today... i hope you were a good girl for miss Anessa." He said kindly to his little girl as he carried her back to his office to work a bit more before taking her home.

Cody was glad that she was able to have fun and keep occupied while he was at work but as he was driving her home, he heard what she said. He didnt have any food at home so he had to stop and pick up something for dinner. He knew she couldnt eat fast food all the time so he knew she would need to be cooked proper food but he didnt have the time to go to the grocedy store. He was doing the best he could to get stuff done with work and now being a single father. When she had dinner, he would help get her ready for bed as he smiled, I hope youre ready for bed sweet heart!" He said making sure she brushed her teeth as he had shown her how to do that so she would be fully clean when she got to bed.

Cody slept peacefully but when he woke up, he found his adoptive daughter in his best curled up next to him. He sighed softly but brushed her hairback from her face. He looked at her wolf ears, looking down at her wolf paw/human feet, her tail and almost claw like fingers of her hands. She was so different from a normal child, a literal circus freak but for once, he saw her as his daughter. He didnt care that she wasnt human, he didnt care she wasnt his, he cared that she was safe and happy. He continued to brush her hair back til she woke up, "Morning my little pup." He said happily before thinking it over, "We need to talk about something... nothing to be afraid about but something important." He stated softly to her, hoping she wouldnt be worried about what he had to say.

Cody looked at her but he gently rubbed her head, "No, you arent in trouble at all... but you will need to go spend time with other kids. I want you to go to school, a place where you can learn, play and be safe while im at work. I will take you there and pick you up later, i promise i wont leave you. I just want you to be able to grow and have fun then having to wait for me to take care of you." He said kindly to her as he hoped she understood and hoped she wouldnt be scared thinking that it was a trick when it wasnt, he had been looking into good nearby schools.

Cody nodded to her, "Everyday, i promise. And if i am ever late, i will take you out to get ice cream or any gift that you want." He offered happily to her as he figured that their may be some days he might lose track of time. He wished he could say he wouldnt ever be late but he knew it may happen once or twice. He sat up and pulled the little wolf girl into his lap as he hugged her, but smiled, "I love you too Caprice and i promise you will be taken care of and will have a happy life." He said softly hoping she would. He wanted her to study and better herself and he would help however he could. He wants her to know she has him to help but wants her to know she is important to herself and not just some weirdo from a cage.

Cody looked at her when she spoke, and was glad that she agreed, he figured they could easily get her into a school for her to help how she may be behind for her age. He walked to the kitchen and began to cook, looking down to her as she hugged his leg, which he watched as her tail wagged behind her. She was so cute but he smiled as he pet her head and soon had a nice, warm breakfast cooked up for her. He set it at the table and would go make a call into work, he had no important meetings today and had plenty of unused days off that they would force him to use usually. He figured he could contact the schools he had been looking at so they could go visit.
