"You have no idea." Leon said while rubbing the brige of his nose in hopes to stop his on coming head ach. "Her voice makes me want to punch infants" He muttered before heading toward the festival. Yuffie had threatend to do something he would rather not think about right now if he didn't go. "Coming Cloud?"

Leon looked around to see people with there loved ones. They were smiling and playing games all with smiles on thier faces. He resisted the urge to sigh. He remembered a time when he loved to go to festivals like this, but that was before the heatless attacked. come to think of it, they attacked on the first day of the fall festival.

*Hesitently, Cloud placed a hand on Leon's shoulder.*
"... Yeah. Same here."
*He turned his eyes to the festival, and sighed as well. Then, sliding his hand off of Leon's shoulder and back to his side, he walked into the throng, with a good mind to distract himself somehow.*
Those two always loved festivals like these... Well, Zack did - Sephiroth just kind of tolerated them. Heh, Leon kind of reminds me of Seph'... before he changed, anyway.

Leon looked at Cloud and gave him a small smile. Well, really the corners on his mouth raised a total of a centimeter but to Leon that was the closes to a smile anyone was going to get out of him today.

*As Cloud made his way through the laughing crowds, he noticed a flash of blue and yellow out of the corner of his eye - and then he noticed his wallet was missing. Instincivly, he grabbed the tail quickly moving out of sight, causing a large indignat yelp of pain from the... whatever it was. He stared as he saw that the monkey tail was attached to what appeared to be a boy about Sora's height.*
The hell?
*However, his confusion quickly faded away as he saw his wallet clutched in the monkey-boy's left hand. His eyes narrowed, and he reached down and grabbed the boy by his wrist, pulling him to his feet, but not letting go of his tail.*
"Give. It. Back."

QueenOfMallets "Oh yea, I completely forgot about that! Well maybe I could bring-" Sora got interupted by Kairi who hugged his arm. She then squealed, "Ofcourse I'll go with you Sora!" Sora felt awkward and scratched his cheek a little uncertain on what to tell her. "Um, Kairi I was kinda hopeing-" Sora got interrupted again. "Wait a minute I'm not dressed yet, you'll have to wait here while I get ready ok? Now don't get too comfortable!" she said as she ran off waving at Sora, "I'll be back in a jiffy!" "Kairi! Wait!" Sora grumbled as she ran off, he scratched back of his neck. He frowned at Riku, "Hey, it's not what you think I really don't think of her tha-" "SORA I'M READY!! LET'S GO!!" She then took Sora's hand and started to walk toward the festival. "Donald and Goofy are there too! Poor Goofy doesn't have anyone, but Donald got Daisy to come. Hey Riku maybe you could ask Selphie, she can't find a date yet. Well come on Sora, let's go to the papou bumper cars." Sora, then finally was able let his voice in, "But Kairi, I want Riku to come with m-" and was interrupted again. "Ofcourse Riku can come with us! I don't mind at all! Let's go Riku! We can go ride the rides together, I'm sure you'll find someone to share a paopu fruit while we're there too!" Sora tried to give an apologetic look and really wanted to say something, but he was afraid of Kairi biting off his words. He scratched the back of his neck and was very uncertain on what to do in this situation, he loved Riku, but he didn't want to go and break Kairi's heart, even if he didn't like her like that. Sora then gave a pleaded look at Riku. "...Riku, do you want to come with me and Kairi to the Paopu festival. I...it would mean a lot to me if you'd come," Sora said blushing a little. Riku looked at Sora and sighed. He then looked at Sora, hurt inside. "No thanks..i'm gonna hang out at the paopu tree." Riku turned around and took off his shirt and shoes. He dived into the water and began to swim over to the other side of the island. He arrived on the beach and shook his head. Water slowly dripped down his neck as he walked to the tiny paopu tree island. He climbed up and saw where he used to fight with Sora. He sat down on the branch and looked at the sky. "Wow..been such a long time...I wonder what will happen now? All the heartless are gone, but why do I still feel the presence of darkness?" He laid his head against the branch and began to doze off.

"Riku..." said Sora who watched Riku swim away. He didn't even notice Kairi who was pulling him to the festival. There many folks around and everyone seem to be happy with their loved ones. Sora was with his friend Kairi, but why was he so sad? Kairi got Sora to ride a couple of rides together, and it cheered him up, but it didn't erase the guilty feeling he had inside him.
"Why didn't I tell her I wanted to be with Riku only? Was it because I'm such a push over, or that I'm really such an idiot. Or maybe I'm just worried of what people might think...if I felt feelings for Riku. I'm such a jerk!"
"Sora! Hey Sora!"
"Wha-?" Sora looked up and saw Kairi holding up Paopu fruit ice cream, she smiled sheeplishly.
"Do you want to share mine?" she blushed.
"Kairi...I..." he touched her hands, when he was bumped by Goofy.
"Hey der Sora! Hyunk! Where's Riku?" asked the tall dog.
"Ah, Goofy!" said Sora kind of relieved he interupted.
With that Goofy grabbed Sora away from Kairi and waved to her, "Hyunk, sorry Kairi, may I steal your guy? It's important. You know, heartless stuff."
"Fine..." grumbled Kairi as she walked off to talk to Selphie.
Goofy whispered in Sora's ear, "What are you doing hanging out with Kairi? You should be with Riku!"
"Goofy?! You knew that I-" blushed Sora.
"Hyunk, Sora, everyone knows, except for Kairi," Goofy scratched his head, "We didn't know how to explain it to her."
"I see..." said Sora becoming sad.
"Sora! You have to go get Riku, me and Donald will keep her busy."
"Goofy..."
"Go on! Go!"
With that Sora ran off to the other side of the island, he ran as fast he can until he finally reached where Riku was hanging out. Sora came over and put his hands on top of his knees so he could catch his breathe. Then he looked up, "Riku!"

He shakes his head as water dripped everywhere and down his chest. "Sora..what'cha doing here? Why aren't you with Kairi?" He put on a fake smile trying to be happy that Sora went with Kairi though he was sad. "You look sick..you okay?" He gave Sora a worried look as he sat himself upon the branch.

All was dark. It was a cage he couldn't get out of, no matter how hard he tried. Only in brief periods was light triumphant and he had slight control. But not now. The real Roxas was in a fetal position of his cage. He was slipping away. He thought this was the time that he would fade forever...
There was a glow in the dark space. Roxas looked up, his head filled up with false hope. Would he finally escape? Yes! The light broke the cage and Roxas ran out...
Roxas shuddered. He looked up and around. There was music and the place was colorful. He was on what seemed to be an island. He smiled. He had broken the lock on his mind that a dark force held over him. He knew the evil snare would return with time, but he took advantage of his time free. He ran over to a baloon vendor.
"Excuse me, could you tell me where I am?"
"You're in the Paopu Festival, on Paopu Island!"
"Paopu Island...of the Destiny Islands chain?"
"That very one, yes. Are you lost?"
"No...thank you..."
Why was he here? What did the darkness want here? And hy was he released from his mental cage? He walked to the beach to clear his head...

"Hey! What's the big idea!?"
Zidane glared up at the spiky-haired blond, hiding a wince as he tried to move his tail.
"You stole my wallet, and I want it back."
"What? You mean... this?"
With a quick flick of his wrist, he tossed the wallet up into the air. As Cloud's eye's followed it, he leaped up and kicked the taller man in the groin, and then proceaded to run away cackling (but not before catching the wallet).
Okay. That's it. That punk is SO DEAD WHEN I FIND HIM!!!!!!!!!
To his credit, Cloud was only writing on the ground from several minutes. Meanwhile, Zidane darted off through the crowd, and accidently ran at full-speed into someone - knocking the two of them to the ground. Dazed, he looked up, and blinked as he looked into the face of someone who looked very... familiar.
(That's supposed to be Roxas... I figured triggering some charecter interaction would be helpful... Um, if not, then just disregard this...)

Shadow15 Riku was fast asleep on the tree. He heard Sora's voice and quickly woke up, falling in to the water from the startle. "Ah!" He stood up in the water and returned to the paopu island. "Hey ya.." He shakes his head as water dripped everywhere and down his chest. "Sora..what'cha doing here? Why aren't you with Kairi?" He put on a fake smile trying to be happy that Sora went with Kairi though he was sad. "You look sick..you okay?" He gave Sora a worried look as he sat himself upon the branch. Sora continued to look sad, and looked back up, "Riku...I'm sorry, I should have told Kairi I wanted to spend the day with you. I haven't seen you in a years and I...it just seems like forever since we've seen each other. I wanted to be with you really badly, but..." Sora reached in his pocket and took out a wrapped Papou candy that he got as one of the prizes from the games. Then he realized, Sora was finally alone with him on their island. He smiled and walked over to sit by Riku, "Hey Riku, do you want to share some papou candy?"
