Kinda sorta? I completed the first phase, but I got the kin achievements simply by buying some cheap eggs on the MP. I don't mind a grind, but a drop rate intentionally set at 0.05% is just super bleh. So I bought them and have been busy trading them back and forth with other hunters so they can get the achievement without grind pain/suffering.
For phase 2, seems like we're going to have to wait a bit again because of bugs.
Looks like I can start tackling the next phase tomorrow since the check-marks for encountered kin are back. Unless there's a different bug I am not yet aware of. 3nodding

They're back, but you have to beat the required kin twice to get the checkmark to show up. And I believe they just made the claim button rewards finally active, so you should be good to go.
Edit: Scratch that. The rewards aren't appearing in anyone's inventories, despite being claimed

I ended up having to buy my Watermeat from the mp cause up to now I still can't get it to drop on LK
