The journey to the lush forests surrounding Konoha was quite relaxing, and the serene feeling of being deep in nature was foreign to the man who spent much of his young life treading through the swamps near Kirigakure. The smell of the sea was replaced by something much less noticeable and the sunbeams lit the earth around him in a beautiful display. He could finally understand why so many Shinobi he'd interacted with in the past said that they enjoyed their visits to the village hidden in leaves.
It was a shame that most of it was a lie.
He wasn't sure of when he entered the illusion, but there was no doubt in his mind that there was one present. Not only was it extremely unlikely that a seasoned shinobi that participated in the war wouldn't know about the defenses of other villages, but the jiongu had a strong grasp on the intricacies of reality due to his extensive training with a certain former Mizukage who specialized in Genjutsu. Regardless, it didn't feel like a typical genjutsu and he didn't have the means to break out of it anyways. While he knew that something was going on, he could have been wandering around in circles for the past several minutes for all he knew.
Quite content with what he'd seen, Takeda stood still with his arms crossed and didn't move from his spot. If the village defenses were indeed an illusory forest, surely someone was watching what happened inside. Rather than play the fool and wander aimlessly for much longer, he decided to wait for someone to invite him into the village.
Current Appearance:
Takeda's appearance isn't very discernible at the moment. He's wearing a dark brown travel cloak with some tears at the side and a hood attached that's currently covering his head. Even face to face with him, not much could be seen except for the lower half of his face along with his black and white bangs. Other than that, the hint of a white shirt can be seen occasionally depending on the position of his cloak. He wears black pants and boots, but otherwise doesn't seem to be carrying any sort of weapons on him.

it wouldn't be the steps that Takeda heard first but the coughing, slow and terrible. It was like something that would come from the gut of a dying man and as soon as his shuffling form limping out of the trees up ahead it was easy to see just why this new stranger was wheezing so. What was visible of his skin through the black trench coat liked like a corpse that was left bloated in the water, black busies littered his face and from the looks of it traveled downward into the confines of his shirt. All of this was secondary however, to the black stake that was jabbed directly into where his heart should be. By all accounts this man should be dead yet he was was. "You'e.."--HACK ahem--"Here for Konoha"--ahem CAEH CAEH--"Yes? I can help lead you but we should go there soon."--CAEH HACK aHEM--"Misfortune is in the air here."
Worse than the coughing and the bloated, corpse-like flesh of the impaled man were the similarities Takeda could draw to the living nightmares from Kirigakure. It was like he was staring his past in the face and he half expected for Jack to jump out from behind the nearest tree with a big smile on his stupid boyish face. "I'm ready to go when you are." Was his simple response, eyes more closely examining the other man from beneath his own hood. There were similarities. Not in their appearances of course, no. Both of them were probably prone to giving off terrible first impressions, and Takeda didn't want to perpetrate that against the corpse-like man for the sake of avoiding hypocrisy.
Perhaps it spoke deeply of his experiences that he didn't recoil in fear or disgust, but he wouldn't want to be treated that way either. Nobody was more aware of the man's problems than himself, so there was no use in pointing them out. "I've had my fill of misfortune for this decade, so I'd rather avoid it if possible." He said, following along if the journey had begun.

The rickety roll of a wooden cart, pulled by a pair of horses, multiple of them in a line of three, could be heard. The hard dirt road towards the Village Hidden in the Leaves. All three were loaded with trade goods from the Land of Iron. A Merchant sat at the head, with his driver, smoking a large pipe. Guards walked alongside the wooden carts, but the one variable that seemed inconsistent in this picture was the kid. Ueki was sitting at the back of the third Cart, legs hanging off. Swaying about as the cart moved and bucked over the rough road. He was staring off into the distance, but all the child could see was an ocean of black. He knew they had been getting farther away from his Homeland. The Child was blind, his eyes pale and glossed over, he took in the sounds of his surroundings. He could smell the the lush forest. The dank smell of fertile dirt and the leaves that rustled above his head. He gripped the rough wood, after having hit a rough bump that about threw him off. And a moment the caravan stopped. His head moved about, not that he could see. "A-Are we there?" Ueki called back to the driver, head cocked to the side.
"Yes we are at the gates now, yeah?" The Merchant's driver responded before taking his attention away from the kid, waiting to have his cart checked over. He slid off of the back of the cart, landing on his feet. He'd dust off his pants and start up past the carts. Using a guiding hand, running it over the wood, then up the leather reigns, till his hands touched that warm horse hair. Then nothing, till he touched the rear of the next cart. Following along the caravan till he got to the head. Reaching out towards whomever was speaking to the Merchant, he'd latch his hand on to their arm. Without really looking at them he'd say. "I am an Immigrant, may I please be directed to whomever I need to speak to a-about citizenship?" He had made sure that he didn't interrupt whomever he was speaking to.

tab Like gross little popcorn kernels exploding in the wind, the fire from Zahara's korabo caused the bug creatures pop from the heat. Their mushy green intestines not even getting the chance to splatter him before they too were erased until not even ash remained.

The voice that now came from behind him was unmistakably Lahlil's. Her playful remark was paired with a sly raspberry. "Promise not to tell anyone I'm here? I totally ditched out of an important meeting with some new dignitaries or whatever." That preppy shine in her pink eyes pushed the Kage to hop forward, but ultimately keep a a foot or two of space for the man. Lahlil distinctly remembered how Zahara didn't like to have his space poked around in and being how it was so long since she seen him last the Kage figured if best if she cut him a little break. At least for now that is. "So how have you been! Feels like I haven't heard from you in forever Mr. Deadman! You'd think you would have called me more hmm." Her tone took on a mocked sort of hurt while her body half turned to him, secretly she hoped that he would take the bait try to fawn over an apology. Maybe just a little fun. "Here I was all by my lonesome having a run a village by myself while you got go gallivanting around. Hmph!" Unavle to make direct eye contact with him now It took all her willpower not to just burst out giggling right then as she waited for his response.

This essentially changes the casting location for the paired ability while still consuming an activation and chakra. To be clear this PA makes it so that as long as she has the activation and resources to do so, Lahlil can simultaneously cast another fuunin with flying thunder god or the fuunin shuushin.
_โง Shared Information ____โฆ All information gathered by anyone who is a part of the telepathic network is shared with the group, not just that by the Yamanaka. This does require the Sensing Transmission technique from below.

The corpse man laughed horse and cold. Whether this was in response to Takeda's apparent kindness or his remark about misfortune would remain on sealed lips as the man turned his crippled back to the stranger. Only more coughing fits escaped from his mouth but his motioning implied that he wanted the man to follow him.
Assuming that he did it would only be a short distance through the woods later that revealed Takeda had indeed been traveling in a circle around the village. It was a good thing then that Takeda had chosen to trust one who ao naturally inspired feelings of uncertainty. "You can enter in there." --hck hck-- "Don't worry about the guards they-" --kyack-- "Only care for stopping merchants." A wave of his hand brought about a nod from those guards on top of the great red gates while his hobbled form struggled it's way back into the words, assuredly to continue whatever his duties to the village.

Feeling a touch on his arm Saburo looked over from the merchant to see what looked like a young boy holding into him. He was a out to make a snarky comment when the guard noticed his the sort of unfocused gaze of his eyes looked past him in the way that was a common occurrence of the blind. Saburo bit back his lip hard before he could say anything. He couldn't imagine how hard it must have been to deal with such a thing but all he wanted to do it that moment was protect him from harm.
In a rather non-professional way, Saburo placed his own over Mลmoku's both as an excuse for physical contact and to press an insignia into his palm. "You'll want to see Lady Hokage if you seek a permanent residence. She's a bit busy in her office I think but what I gave you is a leaf insignia patch. It should get you use of whatever you need until then. When you meet with Lady Nevarra just hand it to her and hopefully it will help with what ya need."

Ueki hand was gripped relatively tight, staring off in the distance as he waited. Until finally, the man said something. He felt Saburo's hand move, pressing something into his palm. He gripped it tight as he listened closely to the man. When he finished he smiled, still, not focused on him. "Thanks, Sir! You are very kind." He took off in one direction, the merchant immediately correcting him. "Your left, Young Uek-" The merchant cut himself off, the kid's head had snapped directly at the Merchant, as if he could see. There was venom in his eyes, he was angry that the dumb fool had nearly used his given name. "-Mลmoku..." Ueki's features softened, and he smiled once he corrected himself. Following that direction he turned towards his left and slowly but surely wandered till he slipped through the large gate's of Konoha. His movements were Zigzagging 'till he disappeared. Feeling for things as he slipped through the village towards the central building. Asking for directions, or for a guide.

The dust had already begun to settle when Zahara was just about to turn around and head back to his resting spot... Then realization settled in. A nice little crater was left behind at his thinking rock, and he let out a wordless whine. "...Well s**t... I liked that rock." A sigh escaped him as Geniki chittered a bit more... lively, shaking in its resting spot, the scent of a familiar chakra source got the ol' pineapple a stirrin'.
What in the hell is the Shark-- Zahara thought, checking his pineapple-disguised sharkskin until the voice of someone startled him. Was it a bad time?
He jumped with a start, taking a few steps out of a fright and wheeled around on his heel in a single motion with one palm held back. But he stopped midway in the Hyuuga stance and blinked at the lady's presence. "I almost blasted ye, lass. Cripes be easy on who ya sneak up on." Was the first thing Zahara said as he eased out of the stance with a smile playin' on his lips. "Screw those damn things, I'da gone and make them go a boom a second time for good measure." He huffed a little with puffed cheeks, flicking his hair back for good measure to emphasize his annoyance.
"A dead man tells no secrets. I'm more flattered ya playin' hooky to come out and see me" Zahara gave a half shrug and while the pineapple Geniki kept chittering louder, he promptly gave it a good 'whap' on the side to shut it up, and it quieted down. Quiet you little... She gave him space, which he appreciated a little as she mentioned he should have called more.
The gears in his head churned for a second, did he not? He racked his brain to find an answer "B-But... I had? You were busy, or been busy." He started but realized it sounded cheesy. "I'm sorry, my lady. I should have sent ya some more letters? I was busy taking care of things in your behalf as well" He went on explaining a bit longer but caught himself and he stopped and just expressed his apologies again.
It was awkward, it been a year since he last seen her and he just wanted to catch up and he just stood there like a gawking idiot with a small smile. "...Heh, I missed you, Lahlil."

Kimiko sauntered up to the gate with her boyfriend Akio in tow, moving with an air of confidence. She flipped her hair back as she addressed everyone loudly. "It is I, Lady Kimiko Mahofu, here to see the sights your village has to offer. How long is the check-in process? I find myself rather impatient in the face of government processes." She looked to Akio, draping herself dramatically across his bare, wooden chest as she slid one hand around his belt to tease a bag of ryo intentionally in view of her audience. "May we enter sooner rather than later?"

Hearing the clacking of coins Saburo turned his head away from his longing gaze of the little blind one who had just ran off only to find yet another strange sight before him. A woman, puppet boy in tow behind her with what looked like lipsticks marks over it's shirtless body. Pretending not to notice Saburo let out a awkward cough. "No need for any of that here my lady and.. err Lord. Feel free to go right on inside at your leisure." Quite eager to weasel his way back to having just a normal day, the gate guard ushered the woman through with his halberd.

tab Oh this was it! Lahlil had him in the palm of her hand. Truth be told she almost felt bad taking her teasing so far which caused the Hokage to twist back around revealing her bitting grin. "I missed you too! Now what do you say you take me into the village to this new ice cream parlor that opened up! I hear that they have this new thing that I guess like whipped strawberry yogurt? I've never heard of it but it sounds tasty!" No longer able to contain herself the lage rushed up to Zahara with a dangerous glint in her eyes. She would still refain from you hing when she could but that didn't mean that she wasn't prone to getting right up in his face at times. Jumping up on her very tippy toes, Lahlil purposefully letting her hot breath tease his ear. "Just wait until you hear what I've been up to while you were away. I hope you don't mind a little moral flexibility! Ohh I suppose I should get your report too or whatever." Not even trying to hide her dejected sneer around him anymore it wasn't any secret just how much the Hokage enjoyed the paper part of her job. If only I could just sit on a mountain too somewhere and wait until they call me down to bathe the next threat in their own blood hmph!
Although despite her sadistic mood swings it was entirely possible that the Kage would be getting exactly what she craved for, assuming those dignitaries were to be believed. "Anyways!
