Close enough now, she let out a meow to declare herself. Through the trees and bushes she could just see the glimpses of the more outspoken furs. She could almost hear them if they were talking at this point.
Picking up her paws she made a sprint for the final distance.

Alright, so she had to slow just a bit more to breath. But something about just being out here felt great. The wind in her fur, the rush through her lungs. Yeah, she was still pretty great. Chewing a bit more on the stem of her cattail, she grinned. The rush of adrenaline really got her pumped. This was something she hadn't quite felt in a long while.... maybe she should try these more often?

She was nearly there now, she could juuuust about pick up the scent of cats before her, probably cat's who had already beaten her back. Digging her paws into the ground she leaped forward over a rock and made a b line right for Lightningclan territory.

she was so close she could taste halfway victory .. looking at how fast she'd gotten here, well she was actually kind of pleased with herself, an apprentice, rivalling fully fledged warriors...

Fawnbriar kept going, she could smell the different members now, ones waiting around for the racers to return. Just a little bit and--oof!
The shecat tripped again, this time flopping over too tired to catch herself properly. From orange and white, to white and dust covered left side. Hardly an improvement.
As to not waste time, she just shook what she could off and kept going, slight limp in one leg as it was now sore.

Again, something caught Wildflower's attention as for a few brief seconds she paused, seeing Frostpaw trot away with something rediculous over his head. Sighing, she yowled towards the apprentice. "Stop playing around! A medicine cat could probably use that!" she hissed at him, not really knowing what it was he had but that he probably still shouldn't be playing with it.

Ah! The clan was there! Grinning Wildflower bounded towards the clan entrance, catching up to a Rockclan shecat that.....she had honestly forgotten the name of. Everyone smelled the same lately but Wildflower did her best to try to remember who was who. At least it wasn't a Lightningclan cat. Maybe she'd get points for being the first Lightning warrior back?

once on the journey back to her clan, there was nothing stopping Silverpaw, she shot past at least one cat that wasn't Timberfall, she was sure.

Back in the gathering of the clans, Fawnbriar walked up to the recovering Shadowsong and practically laid on her, resting her head on the other's paws.
For Shadowsong's part, she just started grooming her friend deciding not to ask questions or congratulate her. They had both done Rockclan proud this day.
