The fight had been intense, but at the same time, parts of it left Kagerou feeling like just a spectator. Her chakra pools didn't permit her to attack rashly or with full force like those who had truly earned their body ranks had. She had to wait and spread out her efforts, ensuring that she lasted long enough to the points where she was truly needed. Still, a healer was only to be untouched for so long. At some point, her main body was targeted, and Kagerou, who had a shred of hope that perhaps she could remain far and away, her real identity unknown to the rest of the field except for, perhaps, Kenshin with his byakugan, no longer had a reason to not have her body on the field as well.
Six pairs of eyes trained upon the descending goddess, the last ascended above the battlefield to deal with matters in the village above. Six pairs of ears heeded her words. One mind calmly, as it always did, accepted what would happen. The goddess of Evergreen looked at Kagerou with deeply sorrowful eyes. Kagerou, though not of the type to swear devotion to any divine being, returned the expression with a smile of assurance and a bow of respect. To lose her bloodline was akin to losing an irreplaceable tool. All it meant was that she would need to reach into her other reserves and pick a new tool to utilize. To have the Rinnegan and to not have it, neither was better nor worse. The judgement and removal, Kagerou found perhaps a tad overbearing, there were many great powers out there, but she had no reason to argue and no results to expect out of arguing. There was only one concern the medic had, and in the few seconds it took for the statement to finish and the Rinnegan to be Rinnegone, she racked her mind for a solution. In this war, many would die. How could she send her units out there fast enough to perform at least one last time? A final refresh of the armies spread throughout a vast country?
Bells jingled. Cloth rustled. The paths readied to make one last move, but only one actually did anything before the staff came down. It would be the animal path in the village above, who was tending to perhaps the most vulnerable in this entire attack. The rest, ran out of time. They bowed one final farewell, and then, their power lost, each collapsed upon the ground, reverting to the lifeless human puppets they once were. With the final remnants of her connection to them, Kagerou raised an exhausted hand and swept it across the field. A weak glow of green leaves and branches rustled about the once path bodies and swallowed their inert forms. Her mother's last gift to her, even if she could no longer use it, was not something Kagerou would simply let lie around.
Her eyes cast down onto the ground. She still wore a smile even when her brows creased with worry. The fight with Sandayu was over. Good for the rest. However, Kagerou knew that the real fight for her and Sonyo would last well after the others would return home to rest, and now, she was down six bodies. She could use clones, but they could only do so much.
At a loss, Kagerou sought out Sonyo out of habit. When their gazes locked, the gentle smile upon the kunoichi's face faded. She was besides Sonyo at a moment's notice, ignoring even the man with a bleeding stump of an arm that would otherwise have incurred her admonishments, nagging, and possibly hitting the back of his head with his own arm.
Softly, without any words, Kagerou gripped Sonyo's trembling arms. She didn't need any sort of technique, manual or chakra, to know that she was utterly exhausted, without even the strength to lift herself up. There was no hesitation in Kagerou when she rolled up her sleeves and, without asking, gently lifted Sonyo up and hugged her, allowing the bedraggled woman to lean on her body. Pulse, breath, body tremors, muscles, skin, temperature, chakra. None of these escaped Kagerou's notice as she tried to flow her chakra into the other's reserves. This girl needed to sleep.
Kagerou actually had to suppress an internal groan. It wouldn't be appropriate now, and she had discovered as part of her diagnosis that Sonyo's mental state was delicate, far more than anything she would have expected. How long had it been like this? Since...? Kagerou cursed herself. She should have checked as soon as she had discerned that Nari had died.
Keeping her voice controlled and gentle, disguising her inner feelings, Kagerou softly declared, "You need to sleep." She pulled away, still supporting Sonyo's weight, so that they could talk face-to-face. Foreheads touching at this ambiguous distance, one that Kagerou would normally avoid out of concern for the other body but that was not the time for here and now, she filled up Sonyo's entire view and reiterated, "You're going to sleep... NOW. Don't worry about the injured and sick. I'll see to them and Arashigakure's medical forces are more than competent. Then, following your physical recovery, you're not leaving the hospital until you've had a nice, long talk with me."
She ended with that, or so Kagerou thought she would. After a moment longer, eyes moving back and forth in evident thought, she added one more thing instead of simply knocking Sonyo out without another thought, "Arashi's hospital will be open to all allies, including the Uzu shinobi, so don't worry about the aftermath either. Sleep now, and even if it's not in the hospital, spend the next week or so just resting, okay?". A hand moved up to gently smooth and arrange Sonyo's hair, pushing a strand behind her ear. "Your mind is on the brink of tatters, Sonyo, Kagerou whispered as she returned to hugging Sonyo with her head over her shoulder, the smallest break appearing in Kagerou's voice in the next few words, "Please, before it gets worse... If you break your mind over your passion, you might never get either back... Could you let me put you to sleep?". Her hands rubbing in circles over Sonyo's back, pressing and squeezing in a simple massage, cast a technique upon her that would help her, but could not force her, to sleep. Gien to Kairan [ Donation and Circulation ] Rank: S Official Description: A technique to attach one person to another, via chakra and stamina transfers. Akin to direct blood donations, this jutsu gifts an immobile, unconscious patient energy, and then circulates it to prevent chakra stagnation. Useful most often when one's entire Tenketsu have been shunted for a lengthy time, or the spirit has been ripped forcefully from the body, to prevent the physical body from dying. Guild Description: Each rank trained for provides half of its rank of chakra or stamina to the patient, with the other half used to circulate it in the body. The user is highly vulnerable during this time, with interruptions causing the target to be transferred from to possibly black out from pain. Can be used on self.
Shindan: Shinkyou [ Diagnosis: Mental State ] Rank: D Official Description: The first step in treatment is understanding the problem. With this skill a shinobi uses their hands to carefully probe a patient's mind for problems. This technique is performed by kneeling over a patient and slowly running both hands over their head, looking for signs of mental injury that may not be visible to the naked eye. It can detect things such as mental harm, suffering, damage, impairment, or dysfunction caused to a person as a direct result of some action or failure to act by some individual. A shinobi of higher rank has learned to use this technique to perform a rudimentary examination of a mind to determine cause and time of death. A D - ranked Shinobi using this skill takes several minutes of work to determine the nature of a problem, a C - ranked Shinobi takes less than a minute and a B - ranked Shinobi requires only a few seconds. Sonyo didn't notice Kagerou when she appeared at her side, it was only when the woman dragged her to her feet that she realized that she wasn't alone. Weary hazel eyes fell on her friend who immediately went in to trying to fix her. The chakra rushing through her system felt nice but didn't bring her sleep. The woman drew her close for a hug and the jinchuriki let her, though didn't hug back. She felt Kagerou's chakra prodding her, searching.
Sonyo felt tears well to her eyes; she knew then. She knew about the voices, the anxiety, the crippling self-esteem issues. She knew. She never wanted her to know, she wanted to seem strong. She used every last bit of her strength to grip at Kagerou's clothes, her eyes pleading now as they stared in to her friend's. Her voice was a trembling whisper when she finally managed to get words out.
"You can't tell them..."
Sonyo swallowed hard, a tear rolling down her cheek as she thought of Lohner. She thought of his understanding gaze and his welcoming presence. What would he think of the woman he so complimented on their last meeting when he found out she was near insanity? And what about Belamos? What would he think of her? Would he finally see her for the feeble and stupid woman she actually was? Would Arashi let her tend to them? Would they think her a madwoman?
"You can't let anyone know... they can't know how weak I am... please Kagerou, they can't know. They won't trust me, it'll be like Suna all over again..." Her words were panicked now, almost feverish. Her hands gripped at Kagerou tighter as she fought back against the jutsu in till she had her answer. "They won't let me help if they know... I need to help. It's... Her voice broke and she struggled to regain composure. "It's all I have left... It's all I have left..."

Medical | Genin | Arashigakure Entering and sliding down the nearest hill or hill-like position Nagisa made her most 'gracious' appearance. She did not know where to begin, apparently there was some sort of goddess here, but she heard that answers could be received. Seeing this as a once in a lifetime opportunity she dashed as fast as her untrained legs could muster and jumped before the All Mother. In a very teenager-like manner, and with extreme boldness she asked the question that most plagued her mind, "When will senpai notice me?! I need more strength so I can waifu power up! Teach me how to waifu power up!" She held her arms to her waist, her fists clenched as though she was summoning some kind of inner strength.
Nagisa was probably either the bravest or most foolish of individuals at this moment. A goddess could probably vaporize or remove her existence as easily as the rinnegan was removed. But, that did not stop her youthful charisma and curiosity. Her blatant scarlet hair and excessively revealed assets would further make her mark on this battlefield more prominent. She had her basic ninja gear and her headband around one of her wrists like a cute accessory instead of a symbol of a kunoichi that was proud of her village allegiance. A large scythe behind her backpack would stick out as well as the katana and wakizashi at her waist sheathed.
It would appear this girl was unphased by the wanton destruction and the rancor that had just appeared. Young and full of heart, she seemed determined and unafraid to ask a goddess what most would deem as trivial and meaningless questions. If this is a goddess maybe I can get a blessing to be the strongest, cutest, meanest top tier waifu in all of Arashigakure. That's what mattered right now having the best hair and the best outfit and developing a fanbase with lots of followers, not that she would ever see them or notice them. She only had eyes for senpai.

The feel of those weak fingers gripping to her for dear life, like she was about to cast Sonyo into a bottomless abyss, made Kagerou's heart tremble even more than the desperate eyes had. Sometimes, Kagerou would think about what she would do if ever faced with a moment like this. However, never had she ever wished to have such a moment actually play out in front of her. She didn't want to be seen by Sonyo with those eyes.
If she kept this a secret, then she could not get Sonyo the help she so sorely needed. If she made the diagnosis official, then Sonyo might just break. Through every weak movement in Sonyo's body, Kagerou could feel the darkness that accompanied every light. To shine in a way no one else could, she had spared not even a drop of chakra, and now Sonyo was suffering the consequences.
The medic's eyes squeezed tight then reopened. Her heartbeat steadied, her breaths softened. Besides her dear friend's ear, Kagerou whispered in a low, reassuring voice, "Sonyo, no matter what, I will never think you're weak... You will always have me, and everyone else you've helped. Sleep. Rest assured, I will not tell a soul until we talk again." In the end, there was only one answer. Sonyo needed to sleep, and since Kagerou did not have the heart to force her into a slumber, she could only assure her insecurities would not come to pass.
The steady red eyes squeezed tightly again. One hand raised up to the back of Sonyo's head and combed her hair in a soothing way. Try as she might, Kagerou could not completely connect with Sonyo. She could imagine, but not feel the pain and fear she must be going through. Even with one of her closest friends, Kagerou could not shoulder the emotional burden with her.

Kojiro would dash out after Kenshin, pursuing those who would escape justice.
• Body Flicker | Rank D | Spiritual Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. The Shinobi will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the Shinobi will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance. As such, an 'air' or 'feeling' will pervade the area before usage. Maximum of 1 mile. Further mileage requires 1 D-ranked per each mile. Shunshin no Jutsu [ Body Flicker Technique ] in any form can only be used three [3] times per battle. This technique only works in regards to transporting oneself from one place to another. This technique cannot allow someone to attack someone in a body flicker.
• Heaven’s Judgment [ Kouten no Saiketsu ] | Rank S [ Overwhelming ] After performing a number of seals, the user launches a large spinning tube of lightning out of his or her body; it then speeds away in the direction that the user was facing. Going at a particularly high speed, this tube begins to tear up all pieces of land it touches and bores large holes through almost anything that has the horrible chance of being in front of it before exploding in a huge burst of electricity, electrocuting anyone within close proximity of the explosion. In addition, Formless complex and spiritual techniques gain this lightning affinity as well if specified when utilizing the technique. • Fluid Movement | Rank E | Training Techniques used for a blocking, countering or evasive action have their cost reduced by 5 stamina per rank of the technique and must pay no less than 5 stamina. • Whirlpool Walking | Rank C | Training The user is now more adept at using circular footwork and can use it against multiple attackers, usually weaving between them, keeping them bumping into each other or simply getting in each others way, taking away any numerical advantage. In the deflecting stance, the user can deflect a technique of their body rank or lower once every three posts for no activation, still requiring the stamina/chakra cost paid. • Move as Water | Rank A | Training Description: The user has dealt with so many situations being outnumbered that their ability to move in tight and confined spaces is greatly increased. The user’s blade work is tighter, relying on their body and footwork to generate force. The user is able to spend stamina in order to increase the strength of their punches for no activation. Personal Attributes • Chidori Specialist | Grants [3] custom techniques to be used as variants of Chidori, these custom jutsu are considered a Chidori Variant. The user may also apply clan Augment techniques to Chidori, Chidori Variant and Raikiri Jutsu. In addition, the user's chidori techniques bypass all armor entirely. Raikiri is considered a Chidori Variant technique. Only techniques with the name [Chidori] or [Raikiri] are effected by this PA. • Hatake Fury | Bloodline and Raiton techniques have their chakra cost reduced by five per rank of the technique and gain an additional 4 Ninjutsu slots for raiton techniques. Additionally, the Hatake can now use their Raiton based techniques with single handed seals. • Sonic Boom | Lightning based techniques used by the Hatake are granted a concussive blast in the form of a sonic boom upon impact. This concussive blast has a range of five feet per rank of the parent technique. Those within the area of the blast have a knock-back effect applied if their body rank is lower than the parent technique. Your ninjutsu are not mirrored per element, but you gain an additional 3 Ninjutsu per rank up. Also allows for one handed seals. {The Overwhelming Trait does not apply to anything above S} • Mystic Hero [ Bukijutsu ] | The user has become adept at blending their ninjutsu and bukijutsu. The user is able to cast ninjutsu from their weapon without the use of hand signs by simply pointing the tip or blade in the direction desired to launch the technique. This requires the same amount of time as the forming of hand signs to cast ninjutsu. They are also able to Korabo 1 ninjutsu and 1 bukijutsu at their body rank and below for a single activation every 3 posts. The user also gains an additional 3 ninjutsu slots each body rank. • Ninjutsu-Bukijutsu | Allows the user to gain +2 ninjutsu per rank. __ A vision of the goddess resurfaced when the outspoken girl manifested. Normally a Goddess required an extreme act of reality shifting in order to be summoned. However, the girl's bizarre question was so perplexing to her that Evergreen could not help but manifest to stare perplexed at the girl. She appeared just inches from her and wondered if the world would be better if she just eliminated the child from existence. However, her bond to Sonyo detected that the woman, in an act of hubris, was trying to hide her weakness. As a mother, she wanted to help her herself. However, she had to respect the will of her children, and leave her alone. However, that did not mean that this child in front of her couldn't get involved.
"If you want to... waifu up." The words came across strained as she said them with an uncomfortable face. They were unusual words, and she regretted that she knew their meaning. "You must become a true lady. To that extent, learn from a woman who has been a wife to two of the most prominent forces in this reality." She said as her face became formal and she very slightly gestured her staff toward Sonyo and Kagerou. "Tend to their needs and learn from the best. One day you will be the one telling the stories of your glory. Until then, learn." She concluded with a faint smile.

And so it ended. Belamos backed away from Sandayu's body as it vanished, staring at the place it had just been long after it faded away. His hands shook- both from the heat of the battle and at the disbelief that it was over. It was a legendary battle, befitting of a legendary warrior. Sandayu's madness aside, he respected the man's drive; few were willing to attempt to craft so daring of a vision in the face of such overwhelming odds and yet he had come closer than most. That being said, Belamos was not sad to see him go as the world was all the better for his death.
Pivoting on his heel, he performed an about-face and flicked the remainder of Sandayu's blood from his spear "You should have listened to me" He muttered to himself, slightly disgusted at the loss of the potential the young man held. Regardless, what was done was done and he would not dwell on it.
When he spotted the projection of Evergreen floating above the battlefield, he did nothing to hide his annoyance at her presence. Typical of the divine goddess of this world to make her appearance known once the fighting was done- too scared to have her power contest directly but more than happy to let her pawns like Kenshin do her bidding. Belamos, however, did not count himself as one of her subjects. It was a fact Evergreen was made even more aware of as the Prince ignored the woman and turned his back on her.
It took him a few minutes to crest the hill that Sonyo was standing upon. During the course of the battle she had held numerous times and was the primary reason he was uninjured at its conclusion. Safe to say, he owed her a great deal. As he reached the apex of the hill he found that Sonyo was deep in conversation with Kagerou, the two seemingly talking of some serious topic by the look on their face. She had a wild, desperate look to her eyes. From his position over Kagerou's shoulder, he couldn't tell what she was saying but could see the woman was making some attempt to pacify the One-Tailed Host.
While he wished to go to her, to comfort her and, most importantly, to thank her, he knew he could not. There was still a battle underway and lives that needed to be taken. So, Belamos would simply catch Sonyo's eye. The look he gave her was not one of concern, but one of determination. A prideful glint that communicated his immense satisfaction in her performance and his gratitude for her held. This was followed by a slow, deliberate, nod.
And then he was gone.
But as he vanished, a soft golden glow would emanate between Sonyo and Kagerou. Shafts of light dimly flitted between the closed fingers of Sonyo's hand. When she opened her hand, in the palm of her hand she would find a second Desert Lily, although this time, gilded in a thin layer of gold. What this meant, though, would be up to her to interpret.

Sonyo felt Kagerou's hesitance, and she understood it in a far-buried part of her mind. The woman was a healer too, someone who cared, someone who fixed people and well... she needed to fixed. To make it worse, she felt Belamos's eyes on her. Dreadingly, she returned his gaze... only to find that there was no pity, no judgement there. She felt the warmth of another desert lily fill her hand, and she was comforted by it once again. He'd be there for her, if she needed it... but he would no crowd her, not pry, not hover. He was his own entity with his own drives and passions. It was a strange, but almost welcoming feeling... Nari would have been at her side, gathering her up in to his arms, showering her with comforting words.
Sonyo looked back at her friend, back at the person who only wanted the best for her, and smiled faintly. It was just the tiniest twitch of the corner of her mouth, barely noticeable. The softening of her features is what would show the woman her panic was subsiding. "Can you send word to Uzu for me...? To tell Lohner I'm okay... I'm sure he's worried... He's the only one left who knows or maybe cares about me there..," Her words slurred softly at the end of her sentence as she finally gave in to the sedation from Kagerou, her eyes rolling back before they closed as she collapsed in to the green-haired woman's arms. Her sleep was deep and dreamless-- she was too tired for the nightmares that plagued her these days.

Medical | Genin | Arashigakure As the goddess spoke to her and gave her a request, the young kunoichi perked up with excitement. "As you wish goddess lady thing! I'll go save them!" And Nagisa in her overeager desires dashed towards Sonyo and Kagerou feeling the goddess's guidance leading her towards them as if this was almost as important an objective as obtaining senpai's gaze. Knowing that she would have to get to work healing, she began to open her mind to all of the techniques she had just learned before she came here. Once again, little did she know just how powerful this goddess was or what anything that had happened here had any meaning to her besides just being in the moment.

Sonyo finally gave herself in to sleep and Kagerou sighed in relief. Of course, before the light in Sonyo's eyes faded temporarily, Kagerou had assured her, "I will send a message to Lohner." She shifted her hold on the woman in her arms, turning her horizontal into a bridal carry. In doing so, she noticed Sonyo's hands were tightly grasped around a desert lily that wasn't present before. Looking around for the culprit, she saw only three other figures: the goddess of Evergreen, a girl sprinting like her dear life's enjoyment depended on it, and Belamos. Between the three, she could guess who the gilded lily came from, and carefully as she could with one hand, she pried the lily from Sonyo's grip to place it preserve it safely within her chakra. Once she found Sonyo a nice bed, she would arrange the flower safely within a vase. For now, she would certainly remember that Belamos was the most likely to have given this gift.
Then Kagerou's gaze swept to the approaching girl. After ascertaining that she didn't appear to be a threat, she registered that her eyes were wholly focused on the unconscious woman in her arms. Kagerou could only smile. It appeared Sonyo had another fan. Unfortunately, she could not permit this meeting at the moment. Before Nagisa came within reach, Kagerou had jumped high into the air and, with a few strumming motions of her fingers, cast the Solo Flight technique on herself. "Apologies," Kagerou melodically called down from above, "Sonyo requires urgent medical aid. If you would like to assist her, then please help the patients she has remaining."
With those words, she left, to give Sonyo a place to rest, and to handle the aftermath of the war she could see ending beneath her very feet. She would need to find a way to make sure everyone who lived would receive treatment and survive. Everyone. On both sides. The shinobi on their side would be left in good hands, and Kagerou would need to convince the Arashikage to treat the Leaf shinobi alongside the Storm and Lightning. Additionally, she would need to attempt to convince him to give her a place to safely tend to the members of the opposite army. Even if she had to do it alone, while tending to Sonyo personally, Kagerou would not deny anyone medical treatment.

Medical | Genin | Arashigakure Waving Kagerou as she headed off, Nagisa exclaimed, "Alright! I'll take care of things here, don't worry! I may only be a genin without actual practical experience or proper education, but I can do my best!" Scanning the battle field, she first located as many wounded in her immediate vicinity. Using her strength and speed she proceeded to gather a total of six individuals who were wounded as she believed she did not have the capacity to heal more people than that. She found two kunoichi and two shinobi. Using Shindan [ Diagnosis ], she quickly went from one to another to find out their ailments. (1/6 Mend the Mender | Rank A)
The first woman had collapsed lungs. Using Hai Fukuraseruno [ Lung Inflation ], she inflated the collapsed lungs which helped significantly. However, she also needed it to be held in place so she utilized Sansokyoukyuu [ Oxygen Supply ] to help circulate her oxygen respiratory system back to health. Given that she did not have any visible external wounds, she finished off her healing with a Chiyute No Jutsu: Karui [ Healing Hands Technique: Minor ]. Her hands glowed hot pink to quickly heal her. The next wounded was a man who had a huge wound in his chest as well as minor wounds on his arm. Focusing on the major wound, she used Chiyute no Jutsu [ Healing Hands Technique ] to help close it. Once she felt it was closed, she proceeded to use Keksuki Gyouko [ Blood Coagulation ] to further stop the bleeding. She finished off by using Gantai no Jutsu [ Bandage Skill ] to stem and stop the bleeding and assist the healing process. She would move on to the next girl who looked like she was suffering. She was shaking left and right appearing to be having a mental break down. Propping her up Nagisa began to speak to her, "Don't worry everything will be okay." Seeing that this was not having any immediate effect, she proceeded to lay the girl down. Forming a handseal and focusing her chakra towards the woman's head, she used Shinteki Ijutsu [ Mental Medicine ]. This would assist the woman in becoming much more relaxed and calm. Moving to the next man, she could see he was in great pain and his leg up to the hip had mostly been cut off. Necrosis looked like it had begun to take effect and if it was not removed he could die. Knowing surgery had to happen, she proceeded to use Itami Yokusei [ Pain Suppression ] to remove the mental pain he was about to receive. Taking her hands she then used Eshi Tekijo [ Necrotic Flesh Removal ]. She cut away what flesh was left connecting the leg to the hip as well as the damaged bone. Then she used a combination of Chiyute no Jutsu [ Healing Hands Technique ] and Gantai no Jutsu [ Bandage Skill ] to keep the area from bleeding. (5/6 Mend the Mender | Rank A)
Turning her attention to the final woman it was clear she had just began to stop breathing. Immediately rushing to her chest, Nagisa used Sansokyoukyuu [ Oxygen Supply ]. Noticing it was not working as intended, she imagined there had to be an obstruction. She used Tekishutsu [ Extraction ] to remove what was a piece of rock that had somehow made its way into her throat and was stopping her from breathing. The fight had been intense, but at the same time, parts of it left Kagerou feeling like just a spectator. Her chakra pools didn't permit her to attack rashly or with full force like those who had truly earned their body ranks had. She had to wait and spread out her efforts, ensuring that she lasted long enough to the points where she was truly needed. Still, a healer was only to be untouched for so long. At some point, her main body was targeted, and Kagerou, who had a shred of hope that perhaps she could remain far and away, her real identity unknown to the rest of the field except for, perhaps, Kenshin with his byakugan, no longer had a reason to not have her body on the field as well.
