Casting a glance down at Teal, her soft purple eyes hidden behind the fringe of her hair so that any emotion they'd have held was lost with her otherwise blank expression, Miss Bullseye wondered quietly if there was anything that she could do for either her or Cherry who's very foundations seem to have come down. She glanced back up nervously at the crowd and swallowed once, twice, looking at faces, remembering names of ponies that she'd entertained and bought different pet rocks and charms from. Her nerves were frayed having seen a friend magically frozen and part of her wanted to rush back to her own wagon just as she saw another doing, but there seemed no running from this. Deli was frozen and she still had another two friends out there that she hadn't located yet.

"Yes, we'll get Deli back." Bullseye said as firmly as she could to Teal and Cherry, ears swiveling back and forth as she heard all the conversations happening at once. Oh what she wouldn't give for the Market to go back to the way it was when everyone was enjoying it. One voice, one that caught her attention as the calmest she was hearing, spoke about the danger these changelings must have been under that they froze Deli. Calmness. Her eyes turned to look at Glitch as Royal laid beside him and sparks of recognition ran through her.

Peering back one last time at the two beside Delicate Trinket, she nodded to them and moved anxiously over towards Royal and Glitch. How many years had she been writing to Royal and this was the first time she got to meet him or Glitch either. Under such frightening circumstances! "R-Royal? That is you, yes?" Others had called him that after all so he had to be the same Royal that she knew. Unless he was a Changeling?! But that seemed so unlikely as he was the same caring pony that had always written to her. "You were calling for someone, did... you need help finding them while you stay with Glitch?" Bullseye asked quietly, he was concerned about his friends, as she was, and after losing one already she needed to find a way to help the others.

When the booming voice happened, when the pony got struck, Shadowed wasn't sure how to feel. She wasn't terrified of what was going on as many seemed to be, but sadly she wasn't heartbroken over what had happened to Delicate. The mare had been first to accuse her (and take it back) and while the earth pony was a considerate person there was a part of her who distanced herself from this. She didn't know Delicate anymore than the mare had known her; it was a sad and cruel thought but it helped her keep her head on straight. If her family started to panic and worry (as Royal was already seeming to do, and Piper behind him) then at least one or two ponies would need to be calm and rational.

Except why wasn't anyone blaming her? She was the one who'd gotten the hoof pointed at her first (by Delicate) and even though the words had been taken back the deed had been done and Delicate had been attacked. Wasn't that more than enough proof to any sane pony that something was wrong there? And the weird voice had even thanked the family for stepping in. Did that mean one among them had really been replaced by a changeling? Shadowed liked to think herself close to her siblings but did she really know them? Did they even really know her? She doubted she knew herself, or at least wasn't willing to always speak what was on her mind.

But whatever, that could be handled later and she had an idea no one wanted her thoughts at the moment. Piper appeared to be trying to gather everyone at the booth, and so while everyone was moving out and about she slipped back and settled in. A few of her hairpins had fallen over somehow and been stepped on, leaving her to bend down to pick them up. Several of her sister's butterfly cases had been damaged too.

This festival was a mistake and she should have stayed home.

Something was wrong. Something was very, very wrong. The parade grounds were devoid of ponies, ones who had abandoned their prime seating to gather into an ever-congregating crowd.

And the crowd did NOT look happy.

Scarlight carefully trotted up towards the epicentre, deftly using space between ponies locked in what seemed like fairly angry and scared debate.

There's a metaphor in here, I know it, she thought to herself. Something about how fear crept into the spaces people held between them, like some physical person they were making room for?

The Elephant in the Room, she decided, after a moment, not wishing to put too much more thought into something clearly not relevant when something bigger was going on. She couldn't find her brother, here in the tangle...

...so, she tried what she could.

With a deft stomp on the metal plate on the outside of her hoof, she let out a reverberating noise to get someone's attention, still looking bewildered at the situation.

Once again, the powder colored mare's mind was going a mile a minute. A bunch of thoughts were pounding at her head, and it was hard to stay positive. Where were her siblings? Where was Royal? What if they were taken and replaced? How would she be able to tell if they weren't if they did meet up? Even the most dreadful of questions had it's time processing inside her head. What if... what if her beloved Cassi was a Changling. The pegasus couldn't help but gasp, giving the spotted mare a quick glance. Naaaah! There's no way she could be a gross bug. They were disgusting, she is beautiful. Perfect reasoning.

Prism just wanted to be sure everyone she knew was alright, oblivious how the idea of leaving the big group was making Cassi uncomfortable. So when the other mare asked for her not to go, she stops a few steps in front of her and tilts her head in confusion. "Cassi... I need to make sure my family and friends are okay. I don't know what I would do if something happened to them." As much as she was trying to be calm, Prism was a nervous wreck on the verge of a break down; a few tears welling in the corners of her eyes from how scared and distraught she was. Cassi might not have family here in the market, but surely she understood her need to find them? Right?

Prism remained where she was despite the urge to continue her search pulling her to go, staying because of Cassi and how she seemed so tentative; silently listening to her request. Though, if one looked close enough, they could see the small mare shaking. "A-Alright. We'll come right back if we don't find them."

Turning to resume her search, her ears flick and perk at the sound of her own name echoing around the market grounds. She stops in place again, looking around to find the source...or sources, considering she heard a second voice as well. The second was Royal, she knew it; soon spotting the blind pony after glancing around and offering a frantic wave of as if saying 'I see you, I'll be right there.' Upon seeing her half-brother though, her heart started beating a mile a minute; wings flapping in fuss when she runs to Razzle, tears now streaming down her face before it buries into his chest. "Razzle!" No silly nickname this time. "I'm so scared! What's going on? Where's Rose? I don't know what you're talking about? Who got turned into a statue and why are we accusing anyone?!" A bunch of questions came spilling out of her mouth, and not even all the ones she wanted to ask. She didn't even notice the events the uni was talking about, too concerned about Cassi to notice it; the horrible buzzing she had heard though. Her wing tucked around her love interest protectively when she pressed to her shoulder, it being the only thing in her power to at least make her feel safe.

"... Ah... oh sorry Cassi. Y-Yeah... this is Razzle Dazzle... my brother. Razzle... this is my um.... well... my closest than close friend Cassiopeia." Prism chokes an introduction through her tears, also stammering on what to call Cassi since they weren't really dating just yet, but she was definitely more than just simple 'friends'. That was totally off topic though. "Cassi feels we shouldn't go far from where all the other ponies are gathering. I'm happy to know that Royal seems safe for the moment, but... but...what if something happened to Rose? Did you see her in the festival before this happened? Perhaps she was late and didn't make it here and she's safe outside the bubble?!" There, a little bit of a silver lining shone through her panic.

PROXY FOR MEWSINGS OF AN ANGEL

Suddenly sound swelled out in the main area of the market. Abyssal Jewel peered out of their tent and grimly set their mouth. Something was going on. There was a feeling of something not being right. Flicking a lock of hair from their eyes, they stepped out to take a better look. "What is going on...." They murmured. Flapping their wings once and then twice, they took off into the skies for a brief moment to get closer to whatever was going on. A group of ponies were grouped together and Jewel allowed their wings to take them downward, managing to catch the tail-end of some drama. Changelings? Really now? Hmm... They narrowed their eyes carefully. Among them? Hiding? They stayed back, for now, assessing the situation. They had never been one to jump into a fray without watching first.

Teal could only swallow and nod when the bright pony left and then as Cherry left to see to his sister. Teal looked around her eyes peeking out through her bangs. So many were panicking and leaving. Glancing back at her sister she knew she could not leave Deli. Taking a stance she would defend her sister from anyone who was a threat to her. She had no idea how to tell a changeling from a regular pony but she would stand by her sister and do her best to protect her from anything when the 'mother' came. Her legs were shaking under her. "Does everyone here have someone who knows them and can ask them things only they would know?" She called out. No one was listening but what else could she do? Her sister was stuck out in the open like this. A thought popped into her head. Could she move her sister? If she could then she could get Deli somewhere under cover. Nudging her sister she tried to shift her a little.



INACTION

Serves the ingrate right, Though outwardly showing the fact Sapph didn't care to much could cause her to get picked. But the way the talked made her a bit wary, but no she wouldn't suspect her family. No matter what they were family and she'd do anything for them. Sapphire Mariposa watched briefly as both her Royal and sister Piper went to fetch people they knew and her cousin. Sapph instead stayed with Shadowed instead. How could they say such a thing about her sister. they'd been together since she was born. How could they have done that.

"oh no." Sapph looking downtrodden the attack on their booth had broken her terrarium. Some of the butterflies hadn't made it. Their usual life had dimmed and gone out sapph sighed as she started picking up straightening out Flowers fallen hair clips.

A thought occurred suddenly; Sapphire glanced back up at her sister "hey Shadowed" she began "You remember who was weird?" She said recalling the teal pony from earlier that wouldn't leave Shadowed alone. "Teal Tale."

Serene was feeling more frustrated than she ever had before. At this point she was regretting going on this trip with her family. If she had just stayed at the beach... but instead she was caught up in all of this chaos. And clearly some ponies had been replaced, the Queen had just implied that some of her own siblings were now changelings. How they had been captured was any pony's guess. After all, it would have had to be in the night when no one was looking or couldn't see. The night before... that must have been it.

But so far nothing seemed to be done, other than some ponies checking in on others to see if they were still "there" though that was impossible to tell at this point considering that some of them had been replaced. At this point she wanted to just go on and not deal with any of this. She was just an earth pony. She couldn't do anything against changelings. And how were they supposed to out them anyway? And if they were creating such chaos and the "love" between ponies was staring to fade a bit, wouldn't some of the changelings start to get hungry?

It was all so confusing. Though for a moment she thought that Miss Bullseye had been acting... strange. She knew the pony was shy, but the way she had taken the drink... as though she was afraid to have anyone see her drink. Serene wondered...
