"Ahhh. Sorry. You shouldn't be sorry. I didn't mean for you to feel bad." He said in a panic. "You are fine. I just - Mauvian's weren't made to fly!" He said, holding the bird, his tail staying puffed the entire time. Climbing a building or tree was one thing, but this was floating.
How did humans stand planes? This was crazy!
Ears back, he looked about and made another swipe to a cloud and found nothing. All around cranes were flying about but as he moved to swipe the crane under him would move and cause him to grip it tightly again.
Lacerta is entering Points 10 (points didn't disappear from before)
HP: 16/20
Lacerta wasted absolutely no time in finding herself a new crane to fly on. The first bit of business that she had was locating Acubens. It was the smartest decision considering everything that was going on. She had seen how upset the eternal senshi was getting because her friend Jason, the journalist, had not come back yet. Lacerta worried about the young man as well and instead was trying to do everything in her power to show that she had come back. Her face was set in a grim line as she took large, spiralling circles to scan the other cranes that were sporting riders. There were more people in the air now than had been before.
She couldn't spot anyone familiar for a few minutes and she was hoping that Acubens was okay. Worrying now Lacerta directed her crane to fly higher and then a welcome sight came into view. Speeding up Lacerta once again returned to flying alongside her friend. Her voice was dry as she spoke, "Dying sucks. I can officially say 'been there and done that'. And I don't want to repeat the experience."
She paused and wondered if that thing she had fought was a new addition or not. Her gaze lingered on the clouds around them. Dying via a black ball of death was not a favorite way to die again. Especially since that newcomer to the graveyard. Had Acubens had to fight it? Had anyone else thought to use their potions on the monster?
He wondered how long it would take everyone to get back to him. He'd been quick about it all, but that was a given, he was greatness incarnate, but everyone else seemed to be dallying.
Or perhaps they ended up in a different bottle and location. It wasn't a matter of concern.
Dying meant nothing, for now, and that meant the consequences were hardly important and he could continue to do as he pleased even more so because the worst that could happen? He died and had to climb out of a grave once again.
He reached for another thing flying towards him and it was another piece of cloud.
Pity.

[Cheomseongdae] Inventory: 1 Health Potion HP: 20/20 Points: 5 "Nor was I! I'm still not happy about the heights I have to jump to during patrols. I've been afraid of heights for years, and now I have to force myself to learn how to handle them, but this... THIS? This is terrible! Airplanes maybe could be ok, you're enclosed, you can't SEE everything, but I don't know... This is not ok."
She could see the ground below and it looked like instant death.
As Arthur made his next try to catch something, Cheom turned her crane and began to speed towards what looked like something glinting... Unfortunately, she misjudged her angle completely, and smacked into someone else, a total stranger. She barely hung on, and swung up, around and towards the person, wincing as she realized she had knocked their points away. "Oh no! I'm sorry, I'm so sorry! It was an accident!"
The last thing she wanted was to anger someone up here... She would be TERRIBLE at aerial battling.

Arthur flew about again, swiping the air again and again for more changes at the birds. What he wanted was the golden one. The prized one. It had to be the best tasting. The best in all ways.
However, as he swiped at a glint above his head, he came with another cloud in his mouth. Spitting it into his open hands, he glared at it. "I'm getting tired of this place." He muttered to himself.
Someone knocked into him, jostling the latest piece he had collected out of his hand. He watched as the fell away and he turned a hazel-eyed gaze toward the girl. He had slipped from his comfortable seat and had to readjust, fingers digging into the neck of the crane, but his eyes narrowed for a half a second.
In the end he flashed her a grin, two fingered salute.
Death didn't matter but he wanted to finish the trials instead, so he shifted his weight to veer his crane off into another direction, zipping along until he clipped something and was sent spiraling into another person.
He just wanted to catch the damn snitch thing already.

Lacerta had managed to shake off the malaise that she associated with dying and was once more actively searching for the golden snitch, er crane. Well, whatever the hell it was they needed to find. As she kept an eye on Acubens from her position in the air Lacerta could focus a little on what needed to be done and at the same time what it was she should not be doing. It didn't take long for something else to occur though.
As she was watching another player collided with Acubens crane which rattled both players but also at the same time it looked like another little black ball of death had been plucked from a nearby cloud which made itself known by exploding and taking Acubens with it. Lacerta remained calm this time. She knew what death brought and so knew that Acubens would return. However it was a split moment decision into which prompted her next actions.
In mere moments Lacerta had tracked down the player that had smacked into Acubens and, seemingly, in a display of losing control, did Lacerta fly her own crane into the young man's own. The resulting crash had the points for the young man slip from his hands. Mission accomplished. As she fought to regain control of her own crane did Lacerta yell across to him, "Sorry about that. Lost control! You know how it goes..."
With the apology out of the way Lacerta swooped around before directing her crane to an open patch of sky. Her gaze flicked back occasionally to see if any retaliation would come from her 'bold' move.

incorporating your roll into my post because I know what rolls in the 20s range brings
The person's whose crane he'd bumped into had appeared to find an untimely death and therefore he felt no need to 'apologize'. Instead he sought to turn his attention back to the skies and had nearly zipped off again when someone else crashed into him. His jaw set but he said nothing.
He didn't have time for petty behavior.
There was a game to be finished and once that was done, he'd return to the task of locating General Zircon and Sweetite. In his attempts to find the snitch, he caught another piece of cloud. This one he intended to keep and not lose, like everything else that had been lost when he'd been hit the first time.

Flying around on a paper crane proved to be an...experience.
Honestly, a rather exciting one, all told, even with the swirling chaos all around of people trying to grab things, getting points or whatever, and the weird overseers watching it all.
Holding on to the crane's neck for dear life, Nix zoomed around, up, down, over, under, sideways, rolling (that, he decided after the first one, was rather unwise), and watching around for anything sparkly or interesting in the air. He'd managed to snag a puff of...probably cloud right when he got here, but it took a while before he thought he saw something grabbable again.
Probably because he was enjoying the weird flight too much to really watch closely.
But still! He was sure he saw something, so dove his paper bird down, down, faster...aaaaand grab!
He got a puff of cloud again. Surprisingly solid, and apparently valuable for this confusing little game. Instead of letting it go again this time, though, he looked at it curiously. "I wonder," he muttered, and brought it close to his face for a sniff. It didn't smell like much.
So, he did the most obvious next thing: He bit it.
It was like...wet cotton candy. But with no real flavor. The sensation of it made him laugh, so he did it again, before shrugging, and tossing it idly over his shoulder.
He realized he got his points with that catch, seeing the flagging, and with that, the ability to leave...but he didn't quite yet, zipping his crane around languidly as he whooped happily.
Easy to forget this was a "accomplish or die" situation!
Not the snitch it seemed. Lacerta tucked the bit of cloud she'd grabbed in her latest search and sped off yet again. It didn't seem like the person she'd bumped into was interested in retaliation. For that she was grateful.
Aventurine wished for one of his scopes, because it was reaching a ridiculous point of where the hell was the damned thing and he was grateful that General Zircon could not witness the extraordinarily long time it was taking him, or any of them he felt, to find the damn thing that would set them free.
Hazel eyes narrowed when he thought he spotted it.
He zipped that way and ended up knocking into the girl who'd (purposely) bumped him before.
In an almost mocking way he said, "Sorry about that. Lost control! You know how it goes..."
