Theme: Spirit Challenge: Create a Tutorial

Ponies and Line Paper-Mouse Work
1. Make your circle sketch

2. Finish your sketch

3. Line is darkly, with marker
User Image

4. Use the Magic Wand at a HIGH Tolerance
User Image

5. Erase/use a lower tolerance to clean the inner lines

6. Under layer color
User Image

7. Magic Wand the outer section then reverse it to the inner.
Two colors, top layer a bright color, under layer a darker color

8. Darker LineArt-Overlay black (or color of your choice) the line layer

9. Color/clean up as needed

Comments: So originally I was going to use that shape tool to make shapes...but that was taking too long lol, so I made two brushes from said shape tool images and went CRAZY. I kinda like it

Comments: Made a sketch for emmeleia's character Yris. Unlike the ref below used, she wont be laying down, but in flight Im thinking, may or may not cop out and cover her hand with her hair lol

I feel good having four sketches to choose from when tomorrow rolls around. Ill be choosing one to flesh out into some line art..or maybe Ill try it without line art, not sure yet...use solids and then definition
