Borkbork was prepared to be tossed into the pond and forgotten when it seemed Hatil had realized that there was flour in the flour sack. Instead the harpy had started to wipe him down. He may survive this yet.
Valko smiled as he watched the chicks get to know each other. Yeah they could play once they where used to each other it looked like Saira's kid was happy to meet the hatching.
'Speckles' watched Rosamin weary as the other harpy chick inched closer. Who knows what the pink and blue one could be up to.
'Speckles' squawked in surprise as Rosamin suddenly nuzzled her. She stared at the other.
After a moment she sat down like Rosamin.

Ewww~ The flour sack was so gross~
Hatil took care to scrub away everything yucky from the surface of the sack without damaging the fabric or letting the water sit on it too long and start to infiltrate in. Well... to the best of her abilities anyways. She sure as hell didn't know how porous the sack was.
Once she was satisfied, she went and put the sack in a sunny spot to dry out. Disbelief showed on the baby chicks face at her having the gall to touch her sister in front of her. 'Mossy' was decidedly NOT HAPPY at this development. Touching = bad. She offered a couple of angry peeps before her sister joined her in sitting down. The chick looked between the other two, seemingly at a loss at how to proceed.

Rosamin fluffed out, ready to take a much needed afternoon nap until she got angry chirps directed at her. For what? She had no clue. She turned her head to look, tired as all out and practically hissed at the other one. "Hisss!" she snapped before tucking herself in, annoyed at the reaction from the others.

Borkbork was cleaned with a damp cloth and all the icky stuff he could not feel was washed away with only a small amount of the flour getting wet. Left out in the sun he should dry quickly and be only slightly lumpy.
'Speckles' patted her sister as the other freaked out because rosamin had touched her. It was okay she hadn't got hurt.
Then rosamin hissed at her sister. How dare? 'Speckles' fluffed herself up and hissed back. you want to start a fight? you got one.
Valko frowned as the chicks started hissing at each other. It seemed like they where getting along pretty well earlier.
With a sigh he got ready to intervene and separate the chicks if necessary.

Hatil returned into the hut in time to see the previously cordial relations between the baby birds start to go downhill. Walking over to Valko, she poked him before pointing at the three of them. "Something happen?" If Rosamin wanted to rile things up, she'd succeeded. 'Mossy' fluffed her feathers up angrily as she peeped even more angry baby bird obscenities and jumped up once in an intimidation tactic, her little wings failing to do much more than wiggle. This was two-on-one, baby twins versus single baby, so 'Mossy' was ready to go. She glanced over as Hatil came in and her feathers deflated. Mama was here! <3 With a happy coo she ran over and nuzzles against her leg, the previous fight all but forgotten. Quote: I have no idea how to end this >:E

Rosamin just looked miffed, getting up and moved a few inches away from the twins before settling down, burrowing into herself. She'll take a nap, and be refreshed and ready to go when her mama comes back. Though the others were still at their heckling, she popped up her head and scratched some dirt at them before skittering. "MAMA! MAMA! MAMA! MAMA!" the harpy chick screeched.

Sitting in the warm sun drying would have felt wonderful if borkbork had skin and could feel the warm sun. Alas he did not thus it felt just like everything else.Valko sighed as the chicks kept yelling, so much for getting along.
When Hatil returned the kids rushed over to her seeming to have forgotten the fight.
When he was asked what happened he he pointed as Rosamin "nudged" he said pointing to 'speckles' indicating that Rosamin had touched the other chick. "mossy scream" he explained to her. 'Speckles' cried in delight as mom returned following her sister she charged to Hatil cheeping happily.

Well speak of the devil, right when things were once again calming down, Saira made her entrance. There was a distinct scent of smoke and meat lingering on her skin, but the smell was also wafting in from outside. Ignoring the very distressed chick screaming below her, she motioned behind her and outside.
"Food's ready."
And then she returned to her post. Ahh... Seemed like the babies were being more rambunctious than she'd expected. Hatil crouched down to give her two some soft head-feather ruffling before Saira came in and promptly left. She looked over at Valko with a smile. "Let's go eat~ <3 Our first family meal with everyone!" Before taking his hand and moving along. 'Mossy' was very happy that mama and sister were here! And the head pats felt really nice! She turned to look at the door as a big blue one came in. She smelled funny and looked funny -> scary. 'Mossy' moved to hide behind her mom before the scary blue one left. Once she could relax again, the lingering smell reminded her that she was hungry. She didn't hesitate to follow her mama outside. Quote: We can end it with a final post each?

Rosamin immediately stopped shrieking when the person she was screaming for had passed her and went back out. She chirped happily, practically running after Saira like she was never upset in the first place.

Valko smiled as Hatil took his hand. First family meal, that idea made him feel all warm and cozy. Family that was a good word! Better than friends!
"Lets go" He agreed tail wagging happy.
'Speckles' cooed happily as her momma rubbed her head! The she squawked as the big blue came in. Big blue scared 'Mossy'! Big blue bad!!
She quickly hurried out after her sister and mamma not wanting to be left behind.
Borkbork continued to dry in the warm sun. He had survived another day, but who knows if the totally normal flour sack would survive the onslaught that the baby birds would surely bring.
