Dea looked a little unsure, but she took Timmy's hand and let him lead the way to the room. She wondered what Team Rocket had put the man through and for what reason. It seemed from the reaction of Timmy it was really bad, something that would be horrible to see. It didn't take long before they arrived at the room and she opened the door. A gasp came from her lips, he really did look bad off, where was she to start?
"They did a number on him,"she whispered.

“They did,” Timmy agreed, quietly. “When he was awake, he was babbling and being all confusing. I didn’t really understand anything he said, Momma. But I think you’re right. He did have someone special to hold onto.”
Noah stirred in his slumber, turning slightly. He didn’t awaken, even when Timmy was bold enough to go out, and come back with a glass of water. He put it by the man’s bedside table.

"You said Paian was there, did he understand anything he was saying? Usually he is pretty good at deciphering, at least he tries to be. And thank you for getting him some water, Timmy,"she smiled. She walked over and instinctively started to stroke his head, trying to send calmness into his mind.

“I think he did. Paian says he knows him. Kimi said so, too. They acted like he’s pretty important to everyone.” She didn’t remember him, though. How was he supposed to explain without causing her to stop helping Noah?
Noah seemed to react positively to Dea’s touch, Timmy noticed. He wasn’t sure what she was doing, but the man’s frown had faded.

"Hmm, strange they would know someone that I wouldn't. I wonder where they might have met him. Well, I will worry about that later, it seems my ability is helping him,"she smiled. She could feel the calm descending on him and she began to hum.

“Yeah... strange,” Timmy muttered. He swallowed and bit his lip. Omitting information was almost as bad as lying. He knew why Dea didn’t know Noah. He knew how Paian and Kimi did.
“Yeah,” he said. “He looks calmer.” At least her ability was working on Noah. He took a step back, towards the door.
Noah stirred, opening an eye. A soft smile crossed his lips. “Dea,” He said, sleepily. “You’re real?”

"Yeah, he definitely does, I am glad he is doing better. Where are you headed, Timmy?"she asked, seeing him heading out of the door. She then felt stirring under her fingers and turned to see what was going on.
"Um..do I know you?"she asked in confusion.

“I’m going to tell Paian he’s doing a bit better,” Timmy invented, hurriedly. “I’ll be right back, Momma.” He hated lying to her. But maybe she’d talk to Noah and remember something. Maybe something special would happen between them. He couldn’t ruin that.
Noah stiffened. For a moment, he looked like he was about to cry. He swallowed, though, and forced a smile. “No, I suppose not,” he said, in a forced-cheerful sort of way. “I’ve just heard so much about you from Squirt—Er, Paian, that it feels like I know you.”

Dea turned to look to Timmy, nodding her head in understanding to him. Then turned back to Noah, listening to him speak about Paian talking about her. Her face looked puzzled for a moment, the name..it sounded very familiar to her.
"Squirt?"she asked, looking to him.

“I’ve known Paian since I was three years old, and one time he let me catch him. I named him Squirt and it sort of stuck. I’ve been calling him that ever since.” He’d carefully removed any involvement Dea had had with that situation. Thanks to Dea’s calming abilities he could think more clearly than he had when Paian had found him.
Timmy took off to find Paian.

"I wonder why Paian didn't tell me about it, since he has been one of mine since I was little,"she mused. She was thinking more on this, something seemed to call to her about this. Like the story she knew, though how could she..she didn't remember it at all.

“I don’t know why he wouldn’t.” Noah said. He was still forcing that cheerful tone of voice. “I didn’t live too far away from you. It’s a wonder we never met.”

"Maybe he didn't want to have me worried while he was doing it. Oh, you lived close to me?"she asked in surprise. That was weird that they would have never met before. Then she noticed there was a sense that he wasn't as happy as he was pretending to be.

"Yeah, that is close enough you would think we would have run into each other. Wait, your father even worked with mine?!"she asked in utter surprise. She looked at him, wondering why she did not recognize him.
