He was so struck by the choices his brother made, none of it made sense, but plenty of how Datura lived didn't make sense. His choice to live among others, so close, far to close to conduct a proper private life. Tras Bothair preferred to be isolated aside from his snake companions.
"Can we even go and see?" A fit was likely the best way to describe the situation that was before them. Unfortunately fits like these meant there could be cataclysmic results. If a mortal or two is consumed by the earth then so be it, but a feeling in the pit of his stomach suggested that a god or two might be a risk. If not more, he didn't trust the poll that he was mentally creating. "Don't you feel that? It's like an imaginary lock." He wasn't sure if he was imagining things - it certainly wouldn't have been the first time.
"We could make a best effort, but I think it'd be a waste." Tras wouldn't speak dishonestly about his opinions on this matter. There wasn't a thing he could do to ignore that feeling, but truthfully (ironic) he couldn't be sure his brother would even trust him. Even as he sat here and spoke to his sibling the prides could be effected by his domain.
The thought, though it had occurred to him, didn't bring him any desire to leave. The world was changing and his curiosity was getting the better of him. Even if that meant he had to stay near others to figure out what was happening.
