Apibom returned to make another potion, though this one didn't quite turn out very nice in terms of appearance. The red was a bit unsettling and the taste? Ugh. They did like chocolate and tree blood wasn't very bad, but the thickness was what got them. They forced it down, waiting a few minutes for any effects to kick in. Another tingling in their spine, this time the crevasse? They didn't bother asking Engrav if he could see anything wrong - last time he seemed to... have a problem... hm.

Taste: Bark and Ginger. Lots of Caffeine.
Feel: Spinal Lumps
Effect: Affected body part temporarily feels as though made from stone.
Well isn't that a lovely looking green-y, emerald-y, jade-y color! It's got to taste good, Knetic thinks, so he just downs it. Hints of bark and ginger run through, also a hint of some energy boosting...something.
He can feel it in his spinal lumps once more but rather than tingly it's a hard, almost heavy feeling and boy is it strange. He feels along his spine and if oddly pleased to find it feels rather...stone like! How intriguing! Science really is fun and unpredictably wonderful!

The potions had been fun so far. Only good things had happened and Caiden had really enjoyed seeing what happened. Besides, today's potion was absolutely beautiful. Nothing could go wrong! Boy was Caiden wrong. As soon as he drank the thing, he felt odd. His skin... his skin? Shifted?! "ENGRAV!" Caiden exclaimed. "W-what is this?!" As the brownblood kept feeling the uncomfortable feeling, tears came to his eyes. Why would engrav do this. Why.

Against his better judgment, Deimos had returned to try another one of those... weird potions. This time he'd ended up making something neon green. A first taste was. weird. Really weird. Grubsauce and grapes? And then the burn settled in. He chugged the rest of it, filling with regret by the second. He didn't really like spicy things, honestly.
A short bit later, his cartilaginous nub began to turn yellow and sprout tiny flowers. He... really hoped that was temporary.

Kerras had not the faintest idea of how modern technology functioned. For them, it was like magic. A wonderfully complicated, scientific magic, but magic all the same. So really, there was nothing they could submit that would be feasible, but it seemed fun anyway. Sketching up something on a piece of paper, Kerras brainstormed its possible functions, and how it operated before presenting to the judges.
"Hello, my name is Kerras Farron, and I'm here to show off an exciting new invention! I've created the exploratory Crawling Bug Bot, and I'm here to show it off to all of you tonight! It runs off of um... explosions! And is much more mobile than the currently available scouting androids. With a device like this by your side, you'll never have to worry about replacing drones as a viable troop choice again!"

As soon as the first drop hit their tongue, Kerras knew they had made a mistake. The rest of the elixir shot out of their mouth in an inky black spray. The podlings all jumped a foot back, with a squeak of disgust. Kerras wiped their mouth, expression apologetic. "Sorry, I..."
Ba-bump!
The tealblood froze, eyes dilating. They gripped their chest, nails curling over their pump biscuit. The podlings all looked at each other.
Ba-bump!
Kerras folded over, their face twisted in pain. Shock. Their knees buckled and they fell to the ground. All at once, the podlings rushed over in a panic. The reached out for the tealblood, but already Kerras was too far gone.
Ba-bump!
Such things. Such... terrible things. Tears bloomed in their vision. No one deserved such horrors. Their chest ached, but their pump biscuit... their pump biscuit remained cold and unrepentant.
Kerras stood up and got another drink.

Ugh, it's that terrible color again. But it doesn't smell terrible so he shrugs and chugs it. Hmm. A slight caramel and smoke. He sneezes loudly and few more times afterward. Maybe he's allergic? His head feels a bit funny, so he looks for a mirror and blinks when he sees his head turn yellow and suddenly flowers? Well that's a cute little effect!

They all loved silly stuff like this. So, time to get her hands dirty. The potion making did... not look good. Some trolls were smiling, sure, but others had quite the looks on their faces. Some look downright disturbed. The tealblood sighed. The things she did for her viewers.

"Hey guys!" Mahmud chirped out, practically skipping to the booth. Finally, something that didn't involve screaming weird things, woofbeasts getting hurt, and shooting stuff! Something that contributed to troll society! Something that...
"Ah?" Oh. Engrav wanted him to drink that potion? Sure, whatever. He trusted Engrav enough... and if Polair was friends with him, eeh.
Picking up a particularly teal beverage, he gives Engrav a weak smile and shrug before drinking it. It... oh GOG THIS TASTES DISGUSTING. Metallic and saccharine at the same time. Sputtering, and maybe gagging a metric ********, pins and needles began to creep along his body. "Hey uh... guys? Guy-- aah? AH!" Slowly, but surely, Mahmud began to drift off the ground! Letting out a little yelp, he grabs at the side of the nearest structure and grips on for dear life. Panicking, he looks down at Engrav and manages to eek out "A little help?! How the hell do you stop this?"

Dillys decided to come back and try thing place again..while he wasn't exactly an inventor, it was a nice little stress free enviorment. The most he needed to do was come up with something clever, and attempt to present it properly. Smiling thoughtfully, the redblood was still on cloud nine after earlier today after toboggan. To start with, he had surprised Connie prior to Bloodfest when he simply showed up at their old hive..with his bags, and breakfast ready early that evening. He was enjoying life in the military, it had been a dream of his to serve, and be loyal to their lovely queen.
Humming thoughtfully, he realized he'd gotten lost in thought. He needed to prepare his speech! Crap! Thinking on his feet, he went on stage to present.
"Hello, my name is Dillys Silvio, and I'm here to show off an exciting new invention! I've created the glamorous cold fusion in a cup, and I'm here to show it off to all of you tonight! It runs off of centripital force and is much zealous than the currently available variety. With a device like this by your side, you'll never have to worry about if there really is an afterlife again!"
There, that would work right? Smiling to himself, he rubbed his neck a bit as he quickly moved off center stage.
