JoyRose Ebania So many entries! I'm blown away by this.  I know! I needed TWO posts because we have more than 50,000 characters worth of writing (like 70,000!)@  whee So happy the writing contest has such a great turn out! Fab job with the contest, Joy! Someone has a lot of reading to do for judging, lol!
Managed to pull together a second and third entry for the contest. Hooray!

Put green tea leaves in pot, steep
Pour into cup, drink

Too much splashing noise!

Ship, captained, crewed, sailed
Plunder, sea battles, kraken
Rum, a pirate’s life
3) My neighbor’s cat ate my Mom’s fish
Phone, Mom left kitchen
Open windows, cat sneaks in
Ate fish, Mom caught cat

1. A Christian's Baptism:
(My personal experience)
Church, Christian priest, pool
Holy water filled the pool
Baptised by dunking
2. Venice:
All day, forever
Venice, the floating city
Water filled canals
3. Oasis:
(Inspired by the Oasis of Ahm Shere in The Mummy Returns)
Lost city, jungle
In water filled oasis
Paradise lost, found

Lazy is my middle name. So I'm going to do the easy thing and write haikus. 5-7-5 syllables, right?:
1. Penguins:
Penguins can't fly, swims
Catches fishes in the sea
Waddles on ice, land
2. Atlantis:
Struck by massive flood
Atlantis sank beneath waves
Never seen again
3. Oceans of the World:
Pacific, Indian
Atlantic, Southern, Arctic
Five oceans on Earth

Title: I Go
The tide comes in high
As it pulls me from the shore
With the tide I go
Entry 2:
Title: The Dark Deep
Hear it now, the siren call
Beware that longing in your soul
Beckoning, calling, luring all
She promises a sweet caress
An endless love you can't resist
A kiss to leave you breathless
She welcomes you in velvet black
As torrents pull you to her heart
What's up or down, you loose all track
You realize your mistake far too late
Dark eyes watch you struggle, grasp and claw
Accept escape is not your fate
You beg and pray and try to weep
But you gave yourself to her embrace
And there you stay forevermore, in the dark and deep.

There once was a boy by the sea
Who wanted so much to be free
He heard the sea call
And down deep he'd fall
