Stump_Fairy Stump_Fairy Stump_Fairy Stump_Fairy Evren had her face puffed to look like she was constipated as she let one ball fly she wasn't able to knock much down. On her second try, she managed to knock down all the stacked cans. With a smile, she looked overly proud of herself. Holding onto the panda that she was given she her proud smile got even larger as she held onto the stuffed animal. Evren decided to go for another throw... and proceeded to miss every single time she threw spectacularly. "Ehe..." Well, that was certainly a waste. With another four balls, she managed to barely hit anything. In fact, she managed to hit someone on the back of the head. So she slowly backed away to take a break from throwing balls for a short while. When Evren returned to throw another four balls, she managed to, unfortunately, knock all of the targets down except for one. Evren's lips puckered and slinked down and away from the game again to rethink how she managed to knock down the pins the first time. Maybe she needed to throw a little harder? Returning back to the can game Evren decided to take a deep breath as she got another four balls to knock over the cans. Taking aim she threw each ball... and one after the other each one missed the target spectacularly. Evren let out a sigh and decided it was probably best to go and walk around for a little bit more to see if she should decide whether or not to return for another chance at knocking over the balls.

Ok, so one win...and an other child wanted him to win for them. Sighing he nodded his head, after checking with the children that this was ok. He did warn them of how much money he had and the implications...he knew most of them understood things and how precious money was to them.
He kept his voice low, even bending down so only the children heard him, he didn't want others knowing they were orphans or anything like that - it was no ones business.
With the children wanting him to try again he handed over some money and with more balls he took aim and threw them.

A small plushie pile was forming at Yolie's feet.
She'd won for her family for sure, and the girl was hot, watching the cans with a vicious expression.
Right now, she could bring home so many soft things it was ludicrous, but... But maybe some of the smaller children at the fair might like a plushie that was twice their size. AQfter all, she could use her pitching skills for some major good -- the money went into schools, plushies into the hands of hopeful children, and why not?
The teen glanced around, before reeling, sending a ball at the cans once more. Maybe another plushie attempt.
For the children.

Maybe Loren would have better luck with the can knock-down game than the goldfish game. At least, he hoped so since this one was based a little more on skill than luck. There was an element in this one he could actually control, and maybe that would tip the scales in his favor when it came to the matter of actually winning a prize. That being said, he had not exactly spent much time in sports that worked out his throwing arm. He had never played baseball or softball, or even tee-ball, except maybe once or twice as part of gym class.
It had been a couple years since gym class.
He wound up and gave the toss a try, figuring now or later didn't really make much of a difference. One of the balls came close, but he didn't actually succeed in knocking any of them over. It was a touch disappointing if he was honest, but there was nothing stopping him from trying again. Looking around, he got back in line to do just that.
Had he maybe put too much spin on it? He had no real idea. He'd just thrown the thing and hoped for the best. Maybe next time he'd actually plan it out.

So bad - he was so bad. He couldn't throw, or at least hit, to save his life it seemed. One win and a bunch of kids wanting...and the one running the booth was obviously feeding off of this...getting the kids riled up...all so he handed over more money and tried again - damn it.
This was such a scam and the teal eyes teen knew this...yet he went for it anyway,

As she threw another ball and knocked some of the cans down she threw her hands up in the air. "At least one of you has to be able to knock some of the cans down. I will not live with the fact I'm the only one that can do this." She was teasing them a little bit.

Evren returned to the cans station and pumped her fists as she was ready to have another try at knocking over the cans. Of course, as predicted however she only managed to knock over three of the cans on the stack. Evren brought her hand up to brush her hair over her ear. She didn't think she was going to play this game for much longer and decided that maybe her next turn will be her last.

Di found little trouble with the cans, so she kept coming back to them. Toss n' crash, miss, miss, toss n' crash. But that was still two whole prizes! Definitely a great way to feel like a winner.

`With great winning came great responsibility. Yolie spied a small girl made of eyes sitting nearby, watching other kids play with a sad expression. Her mother was not letting someone so young play a game made for bigger kids, and Yolie knew that was someone deserving her newest plushie. A surprise gift and surprised -- happily so!@ -- parents later and Yolie was back to the booth, still surrounded by her wins. What came next? Perhaps more littles.

He had no real idea. He'd just thrown the thing and hoped for the best. Maybe next time he'd actually plan it out. (209) Okay, so, this time he was going to look at it, really look at it, see if he couldn't figure out which angle would be best to throw it from, what speed, underhand or overhand... Should he try to curve it from the left? The right? Okay, so he was overthinking this, especially since he really sucked at baseball and softball. How in the world did he expect to throw a curve ball if he was still at the "throw ball, hit things with ball" stage? Arguably, he was barely at that stage. He could "throw ball", but could he "hit things with ball"? That was the real question, honestly. When it was Loren's turn again, he rolled one of the balls between both hands, contemplating the target. They were just cans. How hard could it be? Four balls later, at least he'd gotten close again... once. The others had been bad enough that he apologized to the booth attendant for nearly hitting them with the single can he knocked over, cleared his throat, and hurried to get back in line. Okay, so both times he'd gotten close with one of the balls. It was proving more difficult than Loren perhaps wanted to admit. He was going to get them all, okay. He was. At this point, it was just the principle of the matter, regardless of if he wanted a stuffed animal. Though he did still want a stuffed animal... (242)

Step right up, time to try the cans again and ... hopefully manage something. Whether it was a fluke or his aim and strength managed to merge together into something successful somehow, Owen didn't know, but at least one try let him knock over all the cans, and he was more than happy to select a smaller plush to take home for his mother. Now... who could he try to win something for next?
