For a moment, a single moment, EunKyung considered stomping one of her heeled feet. This was impossibly fustrating! How was she not popping a single balloon? One of those darts bounced off a balloon! it bounced off...how?!
Almost huffing, almost, she paid for more darts and taking them in hand she started to toss them, trying to be more careful of her aim and put a little less force behind them...in the hopes that would keep any from bouncing.

Why was this game so hard?? Brendan huffed as he picked each dart up, attempted to aim, and then failed miserably. Was it the passing breeze that barely took the heat off him? Was he just sucktacular? The world may never know.

His opwn tiny stuffed dragon!
Daniel made a happy sound in his throat as he hugged it, teen boy or not -- he EARNED his new friend -- and maybe he could earn Thomas one? Or his datemates, and the teen awkwardly tossed another dollar to the jar, took up his darts, and fired again. Maybe a pink snakey for Bailey, or a blue turtle for Owen -- OR THE CUTE PURPLE ONE?
POSSIBILITIES IF HE ONLY POPPED A BALLOOOON!

Still no win and she really wasn't surprised. This had to be rigged against her, and anyone else, from winning. Yet she was determined to find a way to pop at least one of these balloons. Ohhh...she was going to waste all her money here - wasn't she?
Paying again, though she did so reluctantly, she took the darts handed to her and carefully threw them, trying not to be violent with throwing them..unlike some people. She didn't think force, or violent throws, would gain her anything.

And so the plushie kingdom grew for King George as he valiantly popped another balloon. But he wasn't any closer to nabbing one of those comfortable looking big boys.

Stump_Fairy Stump_Fairy Stump_Fairy Stump_Fairy Sticking out her tongue Evren took aim at the balloon letting one of the darts fly she managed to pop the first balloon. Picking up the second one she threw it and it missed the balloon that she was aiming at. Her third try, however, she hit another balloon. "Aw man... I was so close." The giant stuffed animals would just have to be a fleeting dream. She was handed one of the smaller stuffed animals she laughed well at least this little one was cute. Ah, she had an idea for another outfit. Maybe she would work on it when she got home. With a flick of her wrist for her first shot, she only nicked a ballon so it didn't pop, on the second flick she missed completely. But on her third flick, she managed to pop another balloon. Giving a huff that this she did worse this time around she accepted the prize that was given to her. Next time... maybe next timmmee. While she managed to pop balloons the last two times... this time she failed spectacularly. Two of them managed to bounce off the balloon instead of popping them and the other hit a place that was already a popped balloon. "So much for my luck." She sighed. Maybe she should take a break from this game for awhile. After taking the short break Evren came back to the balloon pop game for another three attempts at popping some balloons. Unfortunately, her throws were all off. Letting out a puff of breath she decided to mull over in her head on how to get back her luck from her earlier throws. Returning back to the balloon pop game. Evren gave her money to the clerk to once again attempt to throw three more darts. But once again as she threw each one they all missed their target. "I'm beginning to think I should probably cut my losses on this game." She had managed to win at a couple other games as she walked around the fair. She decided to take another break and mull over what she should do.

Dione yet again didn't want to think about fish for a little while. Especially since they weren't the reason she started playing games at the carnival to begin with! So she went back to popping balloons. Or, really, throwing darts at a wall and hoping they'd hit a balloon along the way.
She'd started managing her expectations, so wasn't surprised as she failed here and there.
Hearing a pop and seeing a balloon explode by her own hand, however.
That was surprising.
Guess she still had it in her after all!

Presents! Almost everybody was covered by Daniel's efforts at the stand, and the boy beamed, a proud beam as he placed another dollar down. Only one more prize now -- he wasn't sure Thomas liked stuffies, but maybe a small one was okay. It wasn't much, but...
Thomas had been a lot better after taking him in and getting them a small apartment -- better eve3n than hoped. He understood, and Daniel wanted a puppy plushie for him. Thomas liked dogs, right...?
Or maybe a nice birdy! Like one representing his powered form. That would be so great...

Again darts bounced and landed on the ground, though not off the balloons but off the board they were attached to. Normally EunKyung was not the sort to get upset, much less fed up, with things but she found herself stomping a heel into the ground as she paid for more darts and decided to try again. She couldn't keep failing - right? They needed some people to win so others saw and thought it was possible....she just needed to win.
Thanking the booth worker as he tried to point out where for her to aim she did indeed try and aim for the spot on the balloon he pointed to - and threw.
