After wetting her body down of blood and such, Obei was on her way to the Ninshuu temple just along the way back she came. This one would be an easy job at the very least. Getting to cause some trouble for the two villages was always fun and it would help her think. To start things off right, she would gather all the paint nearby and begin painting the symbols of Arashigakure on the walls, the statues, anything that would be blank and in need of a good symbol. Paints of black, red, blue, and anything that was around would cover it as she kept an eye out for anybody nearby.
[1/3]
Next up was some good old fashioned vandalism. Her legs moved around in search of things to break. First was windows, the easiest of things to break. A giant hand would crash through the windows, clawing at whatever was inside. The many broken windows would lessen and she had to find other opportune ways to trash the place. Things inside were smashed, broken, cracked, and when that failed, Obei did what she did best. Punch huge holes through the wall. A few here and there would do. Holes through the wall always made for a nice way to let the air flow into the room.
[2/3]
When all things were said and done, the oni admired her handiwork. The place was a complete mess, a pigsty beyond comprehension, and boy was she proud of herself! Reaching new heights at which to push herself, Obei mentally congratulated herself for another victory for Kogarashi. Her feet carried her away from the temple while on the lookout for whoever would be foolish enough to come here. Thankfully her handiwork was kept hidden and she was able to get away scott free. Her travel took her to the next area.

Coda walked into the rally point, apparently ahead of basically everyone else. Made sense. She had a bat, one that she'd sent back to pick up people and help Lahill if necessary. Still... she'd expected someone else to have beaten her here. Perhaps her time spent growing up in these lands beyond the confines of the village had provided her with more useful knowledge than she'd given it credit for. She'd always assumed that tea farming had been largely a waste of her skills, even if she'd have taken it back over that dumpster fire of a village were it an option. Ironic that they razed the lands of dissenters out here, and now fled looking for shelter as their own burned - metaphorically.
Sadayo arrives to a location, very new to her, with the party of vortex operatives hauling the group from the arena. Lots of trees in this neck of the island. Was it the island? Sadayo really couldn't say if this temple was still apart of the Land of Eddies or not purely out of ignorance. She took a silent head count to make sure none of the dawdling she went on about hadn't taken place.
The temple wasn't in the best of shape, unfortunately. Even if Sadayo didn't consider herself the overly spiritual type the sight of a down-beaten place peace wasn't pleasant to behold. Someone would have to clean it up, however, later and along side the eventual rebuild that was probably ahead of Whirlpool. For now, Sadayo had to turn her back on the disorder and decided to sit and devote herself to repairing her artificial likeness.
A girl much like Sadayo had been brought into the world in a plume of smoke and her appearance was slightly more rough than the real thing with singed clothing and a metal shoulder. The puppet was intact but still required some touch-ups that couldn't be brushed up on out here in the "wilderness". Alas, the puppeteer wasn't a walking clothier who had a bolt of green cloth at the ready. With a sigh, she dismisses her ridged likeness and absorbs herself in the art of resting. Rest was an easy art, at least, and one much sought after even if she felt anxiety from the unknown.

Stepping through the portal, Sonyo looked almost as if she belonged there. Her usual attire wasn't that far off from a shrine maiden's garb, so she would be easy to overlook if someone wasn't looking for her specifically. One hand reached up slowly, grabbing the pin that clipped a desert hawk's feather to her hair and slowly pulled it out. She looked at it for a moment, her eyes showing a mixture of sadness and acceptance. It was time to move on from her past-- or at least that's what Nari would have told her. Carefully bringing the pin to her lips, she gave it a soft kiss before setting it in her bag so that she could put it in a safe spot later.
Sonyo's hazel eyes lifted to look upon the Ninshuu temple ahead of her. A frown worked it's way across her face at the sight, it was in a disarray and flooded with refuges. She could tell the difference between those originally from Uzu and those who was Sunagakure-born simply from the look on their faces; some were bewildered and wild eyed, others had the look of "not this s**t again". Her heart hurt for them, they had no clue whether or not they would ever see their home... again. She reserved herself to make a place for refugees like this, so that people would never have to worry about losing their home again.
She cupped her hands over her mouth, taking in a deep breath. "All those who require medical assistance, please make your way to the plaza to the right! You will be treated as soon as possible!" Her voice rang out over the confused, hushed, whispers of the civilization. Many eyes fell on her, and Sonyo forced herself to take a deep breath. She was a shinobi, a medical shinobi at that, and this was her job. Making a come gesture, Sonyo moved her way over to the plaza to begin her preparations for the long day ahead. Many portals were still open, still trickling civilians from the village-- even when the sun went down her job would not be over.

tabHaving dismissed her summons Lahlil tore right on through the portal into the temple grounds. she was exhausted by this point and a part of her so deeply wanted to just lay down and rest, not only to recover, but to process everything that had just happened barely a few minutes ago. But of course fate wouldn't be so kind to her to let her have that kind of break. Instead, mirrored there among all the faces from the citizens of Uzu was the look of pure terror as each one watched the massive chunk of earth come crashing down. The sheer scope of it took the breath right out of Lahlil's lungs. That is when the spark from Celeste's words come rushing back to her mind, she couldn't just wait for someone else to solve her problems anymore.. not with Chie gone. She had to grow up, at least just enough to keep these people safe. They were family. so many faces who had taken care of her when she had felt lonely, or sad, or broken. She was strong now! She could change the way the world worked and she had the power now. And with that power she could make a world where no little girl ever gets sold and beaten because of some abusive mother.
Chakra erupting from her body int he form of pale white flames, Lahlil's body was nothing but bright pink eyes staring at the meteor falling from the sky, but before it was close enough to crush the temple island. A stream of tears mixed with blood poured out of both of her eyes but still she pressed through the pain until a strange occurrence began. The meteor would twist and bubble along it's surface almost as if it had never been real in the first place, eventually it's mass being converted into thousands and thousands of bats. Their shrieking forms pelted the surrounding area but would otherwise do no harm to the bystanders save perhaps scare them a little. Once this was done Lahlil felt her body collapse onto the ground wheezing. The effect had drawn much from her and a lightheadedness seemed ready to take her for exerting so much energy in a single day.

Alternatively, the user may further power up this jutsu by paying an S+ ranked amount of chakra. If they do then the user may apply this effect to greater range such as chakra created objects, ninjutsu, bloodline abilites, etc. An enemy may pay the same amount of chakra used to be able to kai the effect away. Additionally, because of the strain on the users eyes this jutsu is the only activation that they may use in the post. This jutsu cannot kill a character outright.

This is performed for free and without consuming another activation. (-1 rank with prior additions being stackable)Β Β
____β¦ Somnifarious Sight _β§Β Latent vampiric powers from the Bat Lord have manifested inside Lahlil despite his death. As such Lahlil has found herself now able to replace the use of handseals with subtle eye movement. This still takes the same amount of time to perform as normal handseals.
____β¦ Genjutsu Specialization _β§ Sound sense added from inception, Touch sense from specialization, Sight based genjutsu costs are lowered by [1] rank. Β
____β¦ REM Sleep _β§ Genjutsu durations are increased by [1] post are costs are reduced by 5 per rank of the genjutsu.
____β¦Β Interweaving Fairytales _β§ Because the Sakkakugan is so adept at weaving genjutsu together they are afforded a unique version of self korabo which is done in place of a normal korabo between two illusions. When more than one genjutsu is on the target their ranks are shifted so that the lower ranked genjutsus get their strength bumped up to highest ranked genjutsu on the target for the rest of it's duration. This is only useable up to the users self ranked korabo level and each genjutsu is still treated as separate when interacting with kai. Any upkeeps are also increased to reflect this change.Β Β
____β¦ Otherwordly Imagery _β§Β Genjutsu performed cannot be mimicked or reversed by any means. ( Genjutsu can still be broken, however. )

Mjern walked through the doors of the Nishuu Temple and leaned against the wall. Everything was in such a state of disarray; she had no idea what to do. She looked around at the people in the temple and saw that there was no one unaffected by what happened. Mjern clothes were slightly dirtier then most, she wanted to do something; she wanted to find out what fu**er did this to Uzu. Though Mjern thought of Uzu like her prison, being a shinobi was what she had. This motivated her to become stronger, it wasnβt any shinobi that cause this to happen. Mjern wanted to find out.

As the pink haired Kage fell back to the ground, her victory against the apocalyptic rock complete, a golden blur intercepted her. If one traced the line of motion, they would see Karuto skidding to a halt on the ground. In his arms, he held a very tired and likely surprised, Lahlil. He had been gone for a while. In this time his beard had grown and fresh scars adorned his body. Even those attributes were inconsequential to the difference in size. While, before, Karuto had been large, he was now a monster of a man. His body reflected the training he had undergone; his physique matching that of a man who had mastered every Martial Art in the world. He held no body fat. Just as lean as he was bulky and just as strong as he was nimble. Still, despite his power, he still held kind eyes and a warm smile. He looked down at Lahlil and grinned, glad to be back "Hey!" He said, beaming ear to ear "Been a minute, huh?" At this he began to put her down. The woman was small, even for a regular person. His hands were the size of her face and he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable. As he did so, he gazed up and that warm smile dissipated like snow before a fire "Lahlil who is doing this? Where are they?" A tense edge had crept into his voice as his hands balled into fists.
Though it was a short distance to the Temple Grounds, thanks to a very handy portal, Plague practically didn't take her eyes off Shuu. It was purely from a medical stand point. She didn't want the stitches coming out and doing more harm than good. Or for them to come out and her not notice. Or for Shuu to have lost more blood than she realized and pass out on her half way to their destination. There were a number of scenarios that were currently running through her mind as they approached the temple. Lost in her medical thoughts Plague almost completely missed the massive shadow growing beneath their feet. Plague almost brushed it off as a cloud passing the sun, but as she got closer and noticed the other people gathering in the area she finally glanced up at what others were seeing. Though her eyes were hidden by her small leather mask and the fringe of bangs that she refused to have to cut they widened in horror. She stopped moving all together to simply stare at the small planet sized piece of earth hurdling at them. Both her hands went straight to grab Shuu's arm, on the uninjured side to in fear and to stop him from getting any closer. Not that it really mattered, Plague was pretty certain she couldn't patch Shuu up after being squished by a meteor.
Somewhere from the crowd around them however, a shinobi must have had a last trick up his her sleeve. As she gazed at the meteor Plague watched in a strange fasicantion as the meteor seemed to...bubble at the surface before miraculously turning in uncountable number of bats. That wasn't all however, the bats completely overtook the meteor. Saving the villagers who had gathered from certain doom. Beneath her bangs and past the mask, Plague looked utterly confused. That was not how she had seen that being ended. Still clinging to her childhood friend Plague took a moment to glance about, now that they were safe from harm, at least for the time being. There were many scattered and battered villagers standing about either paralyzed in fear, shock, or fear. The looks on their faces showed this and many more emotions that never even flew across her own face once for a moment. Slowly looking through the crowds Plague tried to find the one who had saved them. Just to see who it was exactly out of curiosity. A golden blur drew her eyes to an older looking man holding a woman in his arms. She couldn't tell if it had been the pair or one of the two that may have saved them all, but it was apparent that the woman had done something. However, seeing as everyone was safe. At least for the moment. Plague turned her attention back to her own patient. She let go of Shuu's arm, finally, and looked back at his injury. She pointed to his cut, then held her left hand flat with her right hand rocking back and forth quickly a few times, signalling that she was asking if he was alright.

Mjern walked and stood next to Karuto and looked at the deeply weakened Kage, she wanted to stand with her fellow shinobi. Though she considered herself a bit of a loner but she knew that if she wanted to know who did this to Uzu; she would stand with them. She looked at the massive man standing next to her β Iβm with you, I want to know who did this. β The large man was angry just in the way that he was holding himself β I want to help in any way that I can. β
She knew that she would have to get some training under her belt but she was confident that she would be able to catch up with any of the other shinobi. Though this was a time of distress in Uzu, she wanted to try and stand firm.
Coda casually wandered over next to Lahlil and planted Shibuki in the ground, summoning a bit of concrete to hold it there at an angle as she leaned back on its broad blade to stare up at the meteor disappearing into non-existence up above. "You village types are a pain in the a**, you know." She said, clearly more troubled by, and ponderous of, the nature of what just occurred than the man now clinching his fist and vowing to mete out punishment. Not that Coda couldn't get down the with idea of punching things, but more because the motives of all this worried her more than the meteors. They barely registered as a problem, mainly because she hadn't really been under any threat. Any shinobi worth their salt could get out from under that barring them being exceptionally young or untrained. Coda was never in it for the ninja though, despite nominally being called one; though her Uzu headband always got buried at her waist while the pitted, worn Konoha alternative hung proudly, in a physical sense, around her neck, and she could hardly be called a fan of the leadership.
Easily as diminutive as Lahlil, Coda finally peeled her eyes away from the empty sky to size up the relatively giant Karuto with a side-eyed glance. She hadn't the faintest idea of who he was. Or, for that matter, who anyone here other than Lahlil was. That was enough though, Lahlil was enough to keep her here. For now. "I'm all for crackin' skulls but if you ask me to wave a banner and do it for some cratered pyramid scheme of a village, I'll go find someone that pays better when I do it." It was a bit of a jab at the fact that, despite working her a** off, Coda was still broke as hell thanks to the village not deeming her work at the college where she met the bat sage worth a paycheck. Beyond that though, the woman was smart enough to understand where her genin peer was coming from and what she was really remarking on. To know that Coda understood the village in much the same way as those Kogarashi shitheads, but with an exceptionally more nuanced take on addressing its problems than the big stick approach - and perhaps she'd even connect the dots to form an image of why the younger shinobi was so openly hostile to the idea of fighting for vengeance on behalf of Uzushiogakure. She fully expected muscle tree to miss the point, but hopefully Lahlil would get the gist of it.
Was it over? The only thought which had the strength to flourish, above all else, in her mind at sight of the meteor was to get off her backside and run. Run and do so with as many people her resources could carry. It felt almost untimely that Sonyo had arrived when she did with the meteor posing a threat. When Sadayo came to her feet at sight of the meteor, well, she wasn't one to keep her deadpan facade in the presence of absolute destruction. If one had witnessed her reaction one would have seen Sadayo's trio of pony-tails frizzle up in unison from the tension before seeming to "calmβ as sheβd appear to accept it was time to move.
Of course, more of Masatoβs doors had been popping up around the clearing and allowing others to enter this (previously) doomed ex-sanctuary by the handfuls. From one portal came the one Sadayo couldnβt recognize well but others probably knew her well as Lahlil. What Lahlil had done exactly plainly didnβt seem real to the humble puppeteer. Just how the immense falling chunk of rock in the sky was being warped and bubbled into a heap of what dispersed into flying something-another. Bats. A thousand creatures of the night pellet the ground.
How did Sadayo take all of this? For starters, the puppeteer didnβt have a word to say. Anything noise-wise from her mouth was a faint, airy exhale and she was in disbelief that the crashing rock ordeal was truly taken care of and an anxious sensation gnawed at her. On her shoulders, it seemed, the sense of dread of the unknown weigh on her. She had to keep her cool. She had to keep her calm. Sadayo wasnβt going to stain her outward demeanor, her appearance, with anymore than a look of unease. With the feeling of her brow furrowing, twitching, she brings her hand to her forehead and covers her eyes.
Was this feeling still disbelief or was it relief? Was this feeling fear or anger stemming from being bested by a brat with an advanced bloodline and herself standing defenseless? This could all really be the overwhelming reaction of having too many emotions pooling into a hysterical mush she could write off as confusion. They were all alive werenβt they? Doesnβt anguish end in an afterlife? This ordeal could have been a repeat of five years ago. Sadayo went from standing to crouching and hunching over with her face on her knees. With what may have been fourt-five seconds of an obscure search for self-control Sadayo then looks back up. The rims of her eyes were tinted just a slight off shade of red. She heard others talking; they were ready to go out and fight again and something about that sentiment didn't agree with her.
Sadayo did the one thing she didn't think she'd do about it; talk. "We'd all like to know who did this." There was the trace of a tremble in the phony, colorless voice she was trying to keep. Uneven images in her mind's eye were busy flickering out and in of the downfall of the hidden sand. Sadayo spoke louder. We'd all like to chase them, right? The tremble in her voice was beginning to be replaced by tone more jagged and more obvious as anger. "What about the medics?" She came to a pause and scanned over each who came to circle the recent savoir of the temple. Civilians didn't need to hear the muddled emotions of a jounin who was bordering questions upon her own allies' choices. She lowered her voice and staggered in her first step toward them. "We can't leave them alone here to calm, corral, heal, and protect dozens upon dozen of bystanders from whatever else is on its way. But if that's it, fine. These people need a shelter." Even if this ordeal wasn't all over then Sadayo couldn't be entirely wrong. A look was spent over her shoulder at the worn temple. Without the proper supplies and tools the sensation of a pit in her stomach cropped up. Sadayo felt as if she defeated herself before anyone else could.

Gauze, antiseptic, sutures, medicines; Sonyo ticked off a mental list in her head of the things she would need-- in massive quantities --to deal with a group of injured this large. Luckily for her, Nari made it a habit to fill the temples with anything a wondering Sage such as himself would need, and it looked like Karuto and the other Ninshuu members were keeping at making sure it was well stocked. Her heart was filled with warmth that there was another organization out there other than herself, aiming to help people for no other reason other than people needed help. It was times like this that she missed Kagerou, she felt like she was the only one who understood her position when it came to being a shinobi.
Surprised gasps and shrill noises of horror alerted her that something was wrong. Quickly her head snapped up, her eyes widening at the sight before her. A giant meteor was inbound, and she wasn't sure if she could stop it. She knew Sadayo was here, but puppets couldn't do anything to stop a giant rock falling from the sky... but she could evacuate. She could get several people on to puppets at a time, and the woman was well organized. She could make a good evacuation effort. But that still left the impact of the meteor, the force alone would send earth everywhere and who knew how many people they could actually evacuate. Masato's tunnels lead back to the village they were originally told to escape from... Her ice wouldn't work here, not at that size, and she wasn't sure if a sand barrier would do either. She could try to summon shu, and use his form to catch it but the chances of success were so low...
Then suddenly the meteor began to bubble, and warp, like a desert mirage. Within minutes it was gone, and the blazing shinobi who had saved them was hurdling towards the ground-- lahlil, the one who had helped her before. Sonyo stretched out, trying to pull the sand she had made in Uzu through one of the Kamui portals that was still open. It wasn't going to make it in time and she would still recieve injuries from hitting sand at such a speed--- her though process stopped as Karuto appeared once again to save the day at the last moment. Sonyo let herself relax, the sand that had began to pool around her falling to the ground all at once. He was going to get her in to the habit of expecting him to show up all the time, a dangerous thing to believe.
Walking over, sandals making a light clack on the stone pavement, Sonyo listened to the conversation between shinobi. The woman crossed her arms as she came to a rest beside the group, listening to their input. Sonyo had her own piece to mix in-- "Sadayo is a bright girl, you'll do well to listen to her. One's job as a shinobi should always be first and foremost to protect those who can't do it themselves-- not revenge. It's a fool's sport, and it'll get us in more trouble than it's worth. We've seen what revenge gets us with the UHV, let's not reread that horrid story." Sonyo's hazel eyes moved from the group to the surrounding civilians. These were not the only victims, a lot of them would be from supply shortages and lack of protection over the coming months, and not even to the civilians that hail directly from Uzushiogakure either
"All of the surrounding land has put their hope in this village to keep them safe. A lot of the smaller surrounding villages and homes that aren't directly in Uzushiogakure but still trade and get protection from living here will also be affected, if not directly destroyed from the battle in the village." She frowned, she should have known better than to believe the battle was over And now thousands of people were suffering because of it. "I suggest focusing on establishing supplies and protection for those here before any talk of countermeasures is done. The group that attacked your village will be expecting both, but it's better to protect the people before you go off to potentially get yourself killed.. then who's left to protect them?"

She knew that the other kenoichi were right, protecting the other villages and surrounding areas. She pulled out a small cigarette from her pocket, it was broken but she lit it anyways. The ground seemed to shiver and convulse under their feet, thought it seemed like they were safe... the danger was far from over. They had to keep moving if they were going to make it out of the blast radius of the massive volcano β Sounds like we have to keep moving if we donβt want to be reduced to ash. β Mjern always had a knack for just being straight forward and honest, she looked at the large man standing next to her. She left like in a room full of people, he would be the one to trust... it was just something about him. She put out the smoke and nodded to him β Will you help me? β
She walked over to a wounded civilian and slowly started to pick them up β Iβm sorry, we have to keep going. β There was another rumble under her feet, a subtle panic ran through her.
