Username: Hobo Pixi Student Name: Mira
Number Rolled: 17 Sluagh
Defining Trait: Large hands
Mira groaned as she had yet another class to attend. She wondered how her siblings were doing. Walking to her desk, she looked to her teacher. They had to study other races today? The Hybrid looked curious as she was asked to point out what made the Sluagh's unique. Quickly she pointed out the large hands, circling it and making it clear that was her choice.

Number Rolled: 22 Bakeneko
Defining Trait: Split tail
Mikhail wore a friendly wide smile as the child was ready to get through his day! He was in a lighthearted mood and couldn't wait for playtime outside so he could stretch his wings. While a bit of a space cadet, the boy was willing to put his best foot forward to get the job done. Bakeneko was an easy one! He loved how their fluffy tails were split at the end. They always seemed so cool and looked soft to boot.

Username: Hobo Pixi Student Name: Zane
Number Rolled: 17 Slaugh
Courtship Time!:
Zane looked fascinated as she read over the different races. Truthfully...she'd peeked at Nixie's first before actually immersing herself in the assignment. This was further confirmation the Pearl had been a perfect idea. Zane loved gift giving, and her girlfriend was no exception to the rule. Humming pleasantly she moved onto Slaugh's. Her eyes scanned the page as she read them over. It made her somewhat sad to realize that their race was often married off and there wasn't that much love and romance involved typically. It made sense that Slaugh's often found love on the side, but it did touch her that true love was so valuable to them.

Number Rolled: 7 Fey
Courtship Time!:
Fletcher looked flustered as the instructor mentioned they'd be learning about other races courtship behaviors. His cheeks flushed as he glanced down at his desk. Taking in a deep breath and exhaling he realized being shy about reading something like this was silly. Fletcher cleared his throat as he read over the material. What stuck out to him was how they would flutter their wings when interested in someone. That was actually cute he had to admit, along with the fact they would make up dances to show off their desire for a long lasting life together. Fletcher kept reading, taking notes to make sure he did his work.

Number Rolled: 22 -Bakeneko
Defining Trait: Zeke rocked on his heels as he stared at the entire class. What did bakeneko's look like? "If you haven't seen one," he droned, rolling his eyes. "They have a long tail that has two tips with a little fork in between. They are furry, and they have ears that don't bend like a grimms even though they might look similar."

Username: Sesshy552 Student Name: Momoko
Number Rolled: 14. Chimera
Defining Trait: As soon as he saw his assignment, Momoko felt a bright smile light up his face. He had been scared of getting one of the lesser known races (at least to him) but the Chimera were so interesting! So immediately he set to work. 'Chimera are super cool! With their huge wings and thick tail I bet they could fly around the world, twice! They are incredibly tough, I once read that they could knock someone off their feet with a swoosh of their tail. Not to mention how sharp the tails can be. It's scary, but so cool!' He set his pencil down afterwards and grinned down at the page, content with what he'd remembered about the super boss race.

Username: SSBrosB Student Name: Kean
Number Rolled: 14
Family Values: Kean ‘oohed’ a bit when he was assigned Chimera family and customs to look up and learn about. Sure, he would have liked demon, that would have been easy! But Chimeras were pretty awesome, and Kean was happy to do the assignment.
“Family life depends on what clan the Chimera are in, if they are in any at all. There are different hierarchies to the clans and depending on what one a Chimera lives in determines what kind of dwelling and how big their family is. Although blood doesn’t matter too much, names do in the Chimera society and depending on what type of name you have, the more opportunities and connections you will have. Homes closer to the bottom of a mountain are considered wrong. And as long as one shares a surname with a Chimera, whoever has the same surname will be protective of anyone else who has it and vice versa.”
Kean thought that was good enough, and handed in his assignment.

Username: SSBrosB Student Name: Lailah
Number Rolled: 5
Family Values: Lailah smiled as she was assigned Dryads to look at. She hadn’t really ever talked to one, and they always seemed so interesting to her, she was glad for the opportunity to research them, even if it was only the basics.
“’It takes a village’ is probably the main saying of Dryads, if they have one. Everyone works together to take care of their “community”. Blood doesn’t seem to matter in Dryad society, since a shaman chooses who will adopt the child of any stones that are created in the community. So, it seems that even if one is the biological parent of a dryad, they may not be able to take care of their own children. I could be reading this wrong however. In Dryad society, shamans are the ones who determine who the stones go to, though they claim that it’s the stone that chooses the parent. There are many types of dryads and depending on what type of dryad that one is, the different kind of “Root” is followed.”
It was enough for now, but Lailah might go back and research some more when she next wandered into the library.

Username: leon_a_darkangel Student Name: Harley
Number Rolled: 19 - Shades
Courtship Time!:
Harley was uncomfortable, given he was trying out the magical enhancement meant to allow him to hear. His ears flicked back as the dull noise of the classroom was processed by his mind. He simply was not used to sound, let alone other nightmares and daydream's voice just yet. However, he was trying to get used to it. HIs adopted Momma had wanted to give him the experience of hearing, but it was overwhelming he had to admit. He was accustomed to signing rather than speaking, as he had been born deaf. The bakeneko's tail flicked back and forth as he looked over the book for his class.
From what he could make out, and with the interpreter's help he had to read about Shades and their courtship. He hadn't really interacted with a shade before! A curious look was on the boy's face as he read about them. They were shy and feared rejection..he felt like he could understand that. Shades were very exclusive between their race and Chomps. Harley looked surprised to read that, as he read on out of curiosity about the unfamiliar race.

Username: leon_a_darkangel Student Name: Milo
Number Rolled: 9 - Kirin
Courtship Time!: Milo walked into class with a shy, albeit happy smile on his face. He scampered over to his desk, his long blue hair pulled back into a loose braid he had asked Papa Drisden to do for him. The boy was in a particularly good mood and wanted to speed through his classes so he could get home.
Wasting no time, he began to read up about Kirin. Milo had never really spent a lot of time around one, but he liked all the races! So it was just more to learn about. Courtship stuff sounded silly to read about...but Milo wanted to be a good student. His eyes scanned over his book as his brows furrowed. Kirin's really liked jewelry and to be given nice things it sounded like. One thing Milo did think was neat was how they liked big families. That made the boy giggle, considering how large his own Pack was.

Username: leon_a_darkangel Student Name: Tabitha
Number Rolled: 22 - Bakeneko
Family Values: Tabitha padded into class with a quick walk to her step. She had been running behind, for good reason of course! All of her siblings were finally attending classes, and she had made sure all of them got to the right class. Tabitha might have preferred to spend her morning practicing on her guitar, but her siblings being comfortable was important to the Junior.
Once at her seat, Tabitha immediately began reading up on her assigned race. It was cool, one of her adopted siblings was a bakeneko. So learning more about her extended packmates race seemed like a good idea. Tabitha noted that they preferred culturally to stay within their own species, and while big families were celebrated it had to be within their means. It made sense, their family wouldn't work if the three adult members couldn't support them. Tabitha was also surprised to learn that children born of naga and bakeneko union were frowned upon.

Username: leon_a_darkangel Student Name: Emilia
Number Rolled: 8 - Geist
Family Values: Emilia couldn't wait to get her own apartment with Zane and herself! She had been working a part-time job since last summer to help secure a future for both of them. The Baphomet was the love of her life, it was the least she could do. Emilia valued independence and in true nixie fashion, wanted to be able to make a home for them by their own means. it was hard enough at home. Her family life seemed to be in shambles...Cyril had vanished almost literally overnight. Wade seemed quiet, and withdrawn..sad even. It made Emilia feel like she hadn't been a good enough sister. Their mother tried so hard for them..it made Emi's heart thud in her chest painfully.
Sighing she wasn't really paying attention as she read about Geists. They were likely to go off on their own in pursuit of their wants and desires. That made Emilia smile, she could relate. The fact they had strong family ties, and so many adults were involved with raising children it surprised Emilia really. That seemed a little too chaotic for her. Shaking her head she took notes as she continued to read about Geists and their customs.

Username: iMoony Student Name: Eirian
Number Rolled: 18 - Nixie
Defining Trait: Nixies are probably most easily identified by their gills. Though those frilly things aren't actually gills. I guess they're just for decoration or something. They kind of look like feathers but are more smooth and a little slimy. The "gills" take the place of ears that most other species have. Nixies are able to hear though. It's just that instead of external ears they have thin membranes over their auditory sensors. Nixies also have short but thick tails. These tails are strong. They kind of hurt if they actually whack you with them. A hybrid will probably either have the "gills" or the stubby tail to indicate they have Nixie blood. Sometimes they might simply have the slimy skin that is in need of hydration. Generally, Nixies look super squishable and give some great hugs because they have a tendency to be chubby. (The quality of their hugs is my opinion and not supported by facts.)

Number Rolled: 13-Kumiho
Courtship Time!:
Jazzilyn was assigned Kumihos to research about courtship. She wiggled out of her seat and moved to go grab a book on the kumiho race. It looked pretty new but she shrugged and opened the book to read. She found out that the fox race mostly does betrothals? Since she didn't know what that meant, she looked it up. She then wrote down that they are allowed to go on dates with the person they were chosen to marry and if they were low class then they basically had to woe the other's family. The goblin scratched her head, shrugging again before writing what she could and turning in her assignment.
