Styles would stand there as the referee was still counting, favoring his midsection! he would then roll into the ring and sit on the canvas, favoring his mid-section still as he would use the time to recuperate some, after sending Edge out to the steps. The referee would stop the count for a brief moment to check on Styles.

Smartly, Edge would wait for the count of nine to get himself back in the ring, slowly but surely. He made sure he recovered from the impact his shoulder made with the steps, trying to ensure that he'd stay in top condition during the course of this match.

Seeing Edge now back in the ring, Styles would of recuperated enough in the process too, however, he would hold his ribs with one hand, while he went to go pick up Edge with the other.

Edge was getting up at his own pace, but Styles would pick him up first.

Now having Edge up to his feet, Styles would look to Irish-whip Edge to the turnbuckle on the other side of the ring!

Edge would be irish whipped to the turnbuckle, slamming backfirst into it.

Running to where Edge was, Styles would look to leap off the mat with a forearm smash to the face!

The forearm smash hurt Edge even more than it was supposed to due to him being pinned against the turnbuckle. He would cover his face afterward, favoring it as his nose and forehead were in pain.

After the forearm smash would connect, AJ Styles would then grab Edge by the arm and looked to pull him out of the corner with a short armed clothesline!

Without much resistance, Edge would be pulled and subsequently clotheslined, his head bouncing off the mat from the hard clothesline!

With the clothesline connecting, Styles would then look to cover Edge, hooking his outside leg away from the rope!

The referee would slide into position. "One! Two!" after the referee slammed the mat the second time, Edge immediately put his shoulder up, the damage he had taken so far was not enough to put him away.

Styles would get to his knees after the referee's two count, as he would then slide his hair out of his face. He would then look to drag Edge to the center of the ring, as where he would then send a stomp to his mid-section, causing him to hopefully sit up.

"Oof!" Edge's oblique was stomped on, causing him to sit up, favoring it, gasping for air.

Having Edge in position, Styles would run back to the opposite ropes and rebound back with a low elbow while he was seated!
