Matt Gennison was still down and out laying on his back. He would only begin to slowly just sit up, trying to shake off that wicked chair shot!

In front of the thousands of people who showed up for the Royal Rumble event with the thousands of seats filled, Abyss would be taking on Matt Gennison. Matt would had sat up eventually after a wicked chairshot, with Abyss following up by throwing in weapons in the ring, however, Matt was unaware. With the sense and feel of the ring shaking, Abyss seemed to had come back into the ring. Unable to take action or retaliating to do anything because his back was turned, Matt was unexpectedly choked with a kendo stick in a vertical position. Matt would use his hands, lifting them off the canvas to grab the Kendo Stick and try to get the pressure off just a bit, as he would be choked with the weapon as the referee watched on. Nothing he could really do because it was a no disqualification match for the Critical Wrestling Federation Championship in a match that consisted of Tables, Ladders and Chairs with the Critical Wrestling Federation Championship hanging high above the ring, only one way to retrieve it--- a ladder.

Matt would've been choked by the Kendo Stick from the Monster, Abyss! Matt sat there groaning and moaning with every inch of his breath as the thousands of people in the audience would be snapping their cameras whether on smartphones or digital cameras! The lights were beaming in the ring, and the hundreds upon hundreds of fans roared excited for this match! after seconds that felt like minutes with Matt being choked out with the kendo stick, he would feel Abyss let go! with a sigh of relief and Matthew Allen Gennison finally able to catch his last breath, he would feel a smack with the kendo stick afterwards! WOOSH, CRACK! POP! would be the sound of the cane shot! Matthew went down, letting out a groan! he arched his back, slowly tilting to the canvas to the side as the crowd would let out an "OOO" from how loud and hard the shot was! Matt would start to show signs of battle on the area in which The Monster, Abyss would hit him, with that area now turning red upon his peach skin!

After some time, Matthew Allen Gennison would begin to lift himself up off the canvas and to his feet with the sound of the thousands of roaring audience members who paid a ticket to see Matt, and the millions watching at home who purchased the CWF Network just to get a chance to see what they might of missed out on! Matthew would believe himself! he would get to his feet eventually following the sound of the crowd, those of which who were cheering for him! This was his time to make a moment, make a move---to prevail and retain his championship, someway, somehow! With the use of the ropes, lifting his hand one by one from each rope cable, Matt would pick himself up! the commentators would doubt Matthew's resiliency in this match, but still found a way to put over how much heart he has! how much willpower he has, and how much he has what it takes to put up a fight! but not just any fight, the good fight, when it came to Abyss, The Monster! Matt was just a man, but not any ordinary! He was almost inhumane! He would eventually get to his feet--breathing heavily, one breath after the other, trying to keep focus away from the crowd, and turned towards Abyss!

Matt would've shattered the kendo stick, making it look like a blown cigar. He would drop it, as he would look down at Abyss with his eyes widening up.. feeling an adrenaline. Something he's felt before. Something similar to when he faced Samoa Joe, or even faced a familiar demon friend in another organization.
