Being lifted off the canvas with his opponent showcasing such power, Matt would be gutwrenched off the canvas, and suplexed to the mat!

After the suplex variant, Valens would proceed to attempt pick Gennison up, as Cassius wanted to deal more punishment to the champ.

Now with the perspective of the match changing (...for now), Matt would be brought into the corner, thinking and calculating within his mind, as he was breathing heavily.

Cassius would taunt Matt, shouting "BIG BEAR STYLE!", the crowd would cheer as Valens rushed at the cornered Matt Gennison, attempting to connect jabs, straights, hooks and uppercuts at Matt's abdomen. Valens would attempt to throw hard and swift punches, attempting to wear down Matt. After the barrage of punches, Cassius would try to end his combination punching with a huge left hook to Matt's liver.

While Matt was in the corner, seeing his opponent rush towards him, before any actions would've taken place, Matt would of attempted to stop Cassius in his tracks with a big boot!

And it backfired! Valens was big boot'd, stumbling back after the counterattack, Cassius would hold his jaw in pain as he took that big boot flush.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, coming up from behind Valens, Matt would hook his arm, turn him around and pull him in for a RAAAAINNNUUUUMAAAKKAAAA

Without much time to think, Cassius would attempt to nullify most of the Rainmaker's damage by putting up his guard!

With force behind the rainmaker, Matt would of successfully hit it,
knocking Caissius to the canvas.. He wasn't done there, though, as he would pick up his opponent one more time, in the same motions, for another... RAAAIN...UUUUU....MAAAKEERR...

The first Rainmaker connected, Cassius bouncing off the canvas. Valens was picked up, groggy. He tried his previous tactic from before!

It would seem the fans would of lost faith, quite, QUITE possibly. This was the move that put the competition in the Elimination Chamber match to sleep, and gained Matt the CWF Championship. And with that being said, Matt looked to gather another win here tonight, as he would drop down to the canvas, to pin his opponent, hooking Cassius's outside leg, after delivering two Rainmakers in a row.

With the referee's hands only slapping the mat for a two count, Matt would get up off Cassius. He wouldn't be mad at all. In most situations, he would be frustrated. But a smirk would actually reach Matt's face, as the newcomer had kicked out, proving he still has fight.. proving he can hang with the champ. Matt would get to his feet, and lean up against the ropes, in a laid back reclined manner, watching his opponent cling to life.
