Day # 46Theme: Cockatiel  Comments: Decided that gimp is just not cutting it. I neeeeeed paint! So I'm trying before I'm buying! Any recommendations for a good art package that works on a Mac with a Wacom Intuous 4 would be gratefully received!

Day # 47 Theme: Style: Impressionism  Comments: REALLY quickie today. Took the kids to soft play and we were in there for 6 hours. I'm done whee *edit* This is the view from Tanybwch Beach beach that's a couple of minutes walk from my house looking over Cardigan Bay towards South Wales. I love living here!

Day # 48Theme: Atlantis  Comments: We have our own Atlantis in Wales (well, actually there's more than one but I've been here so it was my first choice for arting!) Llanwddyn was a small village at the head of Vyrnwy Valley and it was submerged to create a reservoir for Liverpool. Three inns, two chapels, 10 farmhouses and a large estate were lost after a dam was built and the area flooded in 1888. Its population was moved about two miles away. The reservoir, renamed Lake Vyrnwy, is today a popular nature reserve with tourists. During drought conditions, the remains and foundations of the old village can still be seen.

Day # 53Theme: Spirit Challenge, Part 1: Dress-Up  Unshrunk image here: Comments: ^ this is Wickedpixie. Whilst she might look a lot like Faery Nuff she's not. She is the wee beastie who pinches the odd sock from the drier, she's the little toe rag who tangles all the wires behind your TV into spaghetti, she's the one who leaves one sheet of paper on the roll and hides your carkeys and turns off the snooze while you're still sleeping. And then sits back and laughs at the ensuing mayhem...... You should also note that she doesn't mind being plastered all over the internet in her pants. Complete extrovert. Pix ALWAYS has wings and prefers dark purples and pinks but has been known to experiment with clothes that clash with her hair. She likes bare feet but if she has to wear shoes they're always good sensible stomping boots.

Day # 55Theme: Forest  Comments: This was all going great until halfway through. Changed my pen settings and it all got a bit weird and after an hour I was too lazy to delete and start over. Lesson learned. crying I did, fortunately save a separate file at a point before I screwed up the pen so I may go back later and finish this properly. For now you just get my sketchy mess. On the upside I'm very happy with the lighting whee

Day # 58Theme: Monster Under The Bed  Comments: WIP I literally cannot believe I did this much in a day! Amazing what you can achieve when you don't get interrupted every 5 minutes... But I'm not finished xd I really hope this boogeyman gets to the door before Niamh gets to her sword. It might be wood but she can swing! (just ask her big brother) We don't do monsters under the bed in this house; I'm not raising wimpy princesses!
