[ Lex : Anything Goes // Minor ] [With Dai]

Lex had been looking in Zeke's direction just when Zeke noticed him, and the knowing look was reciprocated with a wink and cheeky grin. Lex would have even given Zeke a wave or a verbal acknowledgement, had the teen not been mid-conversation, and approached by November with a dare.

"Yeah, Lex is me. It's good to meet ya, in person." He shook Dai's hand, then gave November his full attention. A piggyback ride? What was he, 10? Oh, right... "Kiddie dares for the little tyke, huh? Fair enough." Lex shrugged, then turned back to Dai, rolling his grey eyes. "Well, we've got superhuman strength now, so this shouldn't be too hard."

Lex crouched and, after a bit of awkward struggle and a muttered 'dude get your sack off my neck', the pair were up and Lex was ready to trot about like a damned horse. The laps were made around the room, Lex even throwing in a bit of neighing and whinnying, for comedic effect, before setting Dai down, right next to Nash. "Okay, now I want you to carry Nash around like a princess. Bonus points for taking him through a threshold."

[ Hikaru & Peyton ]

Peyton had been undressing as well, shorts, long shirt–she hadn't bothered with shoes it socks–but there was just a slight pause as Hikaru removed her underthings, a flicker of surprise and a subtle twitch of her brows. And then she was having over her own, body turned to maintain a modicum of modesty,

The borrowed clothing for better than the Sun had been expecting. The other girl was taller, but she was slim through the chest and the hips. The dress hugged all the right places, falling past her knees. "This is really pretty." Not the most practical to fight in, but lovely all the same.

"Sit tight a moment, I'll go grab some make up." With another apologetic smile, Peyton went for the door, jogging up to her room on the second floor. She was back in a couple of minutes with a small, zipped case. "Okay. I'll, uh...I'll go light and simple." Less of a chance to really mess much up. She'd seen Hika's expression at the nature of the dare.

Whole she was working though, there was no reason not to issue a date of her own. Peyton took a slow look around the room before pale eyes landed on one of the Roswell twins. "Tom, I dare you to invite someone in this room to sit in your lap for the rest of the game. Or, find someone's lap to sit in."

Mara's performance was, Nash thought, a delight. He would have rather had her throw that damned owl out the window, but this was a good placeholder instead for the time being. He clapped when she finished, a grin spreading across his face, then stood up, stretching, at the next request.

"Nagging mother, got it," he said, and ambled over to Lex. A hand reached out and snagged him by the collar of his shirt, tugging him backwards.

"Didn't I tell you to clean your room?" Nash barked. "And straighten up, put your back straight and tidy up your hair, you look like a damn mess, don't you ever brush anything?"

This went on for the allotted minute which was, Nash decided, actually quite fun. He gave Lex a charming smile once he was done, then rolled his eyes at the idea of Dai being asked to carry him, mostly because the kid was - well, a kid.

"All right, carry me around, princeling."

Hikaru managed to get Peyton's clothing on without too much trouble. It was a tad snug, perhaps, around the shoulders, but long enough, given the dress she usually wore. She smiled at Peyton, and nodded quietly. "I am rather fond of how it fits, and looks. Cheongsam are lovely. I find them more practical then Kimono, at least." She finished by removing the ribbon from her hair and offering it to Peyton. "This should work as a blindfold, as I suggested, yes? I think it is long and wide enough. Then, after, perhaps you can use it as a headband until the evening is over."

She turned her head to face Tzei, and gave her a slightly weak smile. "It is alright, Tzei. I am just... generally particular about my makeup." She liked to accent her features, after all, in the right way, so as to lesson certain effects genetics had played on her.

She glanced over at the man who had asked for a volunteer for a hickey, noticing no one had offered. "When this lady... I did not catch your name?... is done with redoing my makeup, sir, if you wish, I can be your hickey victim." She called out.

[ Gretchen - Anything ]

Fairly certain she'd just caught sight of a familiar figure with wild, dark happy, the Death intermediate, curious, headed down the hall after him. Right into what appeared to be a party, half baked bodies included. "Mercy me," she messed softly, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "What's goin' on here?"

With a curious hum she wandered over to the excentric trainee she'd followed, giving his arm a light touch. "You been hidin'? I haven't seen much of you since you woke up?"




[ Hika & Peyton ]

Shooting the other girl on the couch a small grin, Peyton took the offered ribbon. "Well, hopefully this isn't a disaster." Nash hasn't said Hikaru had to keep the make up on after, so if it was truly awful, maybe they could reapply it properly. "Oh, and sorry. I'm Peyton."

The ribbon made a perfectly good blind fold, and with it on, Peyton couldn't see much more than a bright halo on the edges of the dark band of the ribbon. She drew out a compact and a tube of lipstick, feeling along smooth surfaces to be sure she'd picked the right ones. "If you'll make sure I don't sick of the brushes anywhere awkward." Like an eye, or her nose.

All in all, it probably wasn't as horrible as it could have been. Peyton tried to take her time, and she used her free hand as a guide as much as she could. Applying the lipstick had been fairly easy, though she d had to run her finger along the other girls lips to do so. It was, she supposed, a quick way to break the ice upon first meeting.

When she'd finished with lips, shadow, and blush, Peyton say back on her heels and lifted the blindfold slowly to have a look at her blind handy work.

"Gretchen, dear," he said cheerily, bending to kiss the air somewhere to the left of her cheek. "I'm sorry I haven't been more present, but I've mostly been spending time acquainting myself with Linus." He indicated the twining silver bracelet circling his wrist. "I'm not used to such..." Kent wiggled his hand back and forth. "...exertion. He's pretending to be asleep at the moment or I would introduce you. He found my stories of last year's New Year's gala quite boring, for some reason. Hm."

"Anyway," he continued, brightening as he dropped the subject of his dour weapon, "A party is what's going on here... I think. There isn't any music or hors d'oeuvres, but the potential for excessive nudity is on point."

Hika took the compact from Peyton, and turned her head side to side, examining the results. After a moment, she gave a weak smile. "I mean, given you were literally working blind, it could be far worse... And you did your best to try to make it as neat as you could. I appreciate the efforts." Her hand trembled, a little, as she handed the other woman her compact back, because she was now nervous about the people who she did not know.

Her contouring, after all, was gone, and she didn't like how her nose or cheekbones changed without the makeup on. However, she took a momentary deep breath, and steadied herself. "We definitely should meet and chat sometime, in calmer circumstances. I hope we can be friends..." She said, in a calm voice, before turning to the man who had wanted a volunteer.

"I am available now, if you wanted to use my neck for your dare, sir, as I no longer need to hold still to avoid risking a brush to the eye."

[ Zeke - Anything - w/ Lex ]

Lex plopping down on the couch beside him wasn't really terribly unexpected. However, the way he was carrying himself--shoulders a bit hunched, features set, proximity closer than usual--were all quite telling signs. He glanced from the teen to the Nash, before sinking back into the cushions of the couch so his shoulder very nearly touched Lex's.

"Probably," he answered truthfully. "But can you blame them? No one really knows quite how to handle you guys." Himself included. "It's all a balancing act of not crossing any lines, without just treating you all like children. It's hard." Personally, Zeke thought most of the island still treated the Juniors like children, and not young adults.

Of course, Lex asking made Zeke want to give him a not lame dare. His lips twitched as he tried to think up something challenging. "I dare you to pick someone in the room and ask for a kiss." If he got nothing else but childish dares for the rest of the night, at least he'd have this one to be happy about. Right?
