Zombies all dead

Chiara frowned down at the zombies. For some reason her mind was on food... and not in a good way. This was definitely a way to make someone loose their apatite. The zombie... muck, remains, slosh, lay on the ground, looking like a definite tripping and slipping hazard. Chiara held her nose up as the three of them worked their way past the dead, stinking horde of yuck.

Well, that was done.

Psy stopped for a moment, after they'd passed by the muck of the daywalkers, and assessed the squad's status.

"All right, lets break for a few." she said, taking out her healing syringe and uncapping it, "We want to ace this mission, don't we... but I think we could all use a pick-us-up! Here -" she offered the meds to Alibii, who looked like she needed it. "Use this, and you'll be right as hopbeasts. she said, grinning.

"Chiara, you wouldn't happen to have anything on you, would you?"

Healing Psykgi for 10 hp

Psykgi was looking a little lackluster. Well, they all were, if anyone felt like asking. It seemed like when a group come back from any of their space ship missions they looked a little worn out. Not many parties came back as bright and shiny as when they left. Some had come back with bright and shiny things, sure, but that was pretty rare.

"Perfect!" Psykgi said, passing the meds on to Chiara, "Here - have some too."

She had, she realized, changed after the first mission. It was really only apparent now; in the confidence and... whatever she was bringing to the group here that was making them do so well.

Of course, it could easily be Chiara, or Alibii bringing the necessary things, but - and Psy was not as arrogant as the squad name might indicate - she was pretty sure it was her.

Or, heck, all of them. The collective.

So, they all had to be in top shape - to keep the swarm strong... Ahhh, gosh, I don't really want to think that way. Trolls aren't roaches, after all!

But, she knew, her Ma would be happy for her thinking that.

"Everyone ready? Chiara, lets try the next corridor - see where it takes us."

Another corridor another... How many times had she said that to herself? All the hallways, rooms, and broken light panels were starting to look the same. Maybe Chiara needed a break after this. Oh, she should invite Psykgi and Zeylla out to like, a spa or something. Something to get all these knots out of her back. Chiara would have to remember to do that, later.

3 - You come across some shuffling bodies...!

Another day another corridor filled with the undead bodies of those trolls who had come before. It sure made space look like a big empty void, except with sprinkles of pain, hard rocks, and weird undead bodies. Chiara could go without the first one, to be honest. If there was no pain out in space, well, then how bad could the zombies really be?

Chiara groaned. Zombies? Here? Now?! Who would have guessed! Chiara let out a sigh, at least it was only.. what? Nine zombies? Yeah, total cakewalk, yes sir-ee. She watched them shamble over to her as a plant watches a slug slime its way over. Sure, the slug was a monster, but it would take it forever to get all the way over there. Well, maybe that was a bad analogy. Plants couldn't run.

After their quick break and the redbloods-her name, what was her name, she needed to get better at getting that information at the beginning of a mission- useful med injection, she was feeling much better! The aches and pains were diminished and she was ready for those zombies. With swift, definitely calculated, attacks, she dispatched three of the brittle boned undead, wiping their brain matter and blood on the legs of her suit, like it made any difference where the blood was splattered on her at this point.

"Glubbin..." Chiara cursed as her attack missed. This was, what, the third ship she had done now, but this one had far more monsters and dangers than the other two. It was sorta a good thing, right? The other ships had been complete cake walks. This one was actually making her work and push herself. Too bad she pushed herself right into missing her attack.

La lala lala, daywalkers. Again, just a handful - nothing too serious. It was not too bad, like aerobics almost.

"Oof, almost!" she commented, dispatching a few more zombies rather soundly. "Is that all of them?"

It sure looked like it was, but it was best to be sure! Psykgi hit a few of them again until their wierd half-decayed neurons stopped twitching.

"Well. Lets go see whats next."

Alrighty then, leading her slightly messed up squad down a hallway.

Psykgi sort of hoped it would be something more interesting than daywalkers. Less interesting, maybe, than flaming ravenous gerbil hoardes. A happy medium - more treasure was always good.

Instead, she found a door. "Oh, hey, its a door." she said, squinting at it. She really, really, really did not trust these doors.

"Lets take a look at it, shall we?"

"All right, so, I don't trust this door one bit." she said, in a quick staccato burst. She'd taken a look at it, and it really didn't look very nice at all.

"I don't know if its trapped or not, so..." Shame they didn't have someone who'd studied traps or somesuch thing, but hey. They would be fine - they were tough trolls. Her squad would make it through.

She stood aside to let the hemoanon and the blueblood open the door. "Be a little careful." she pointed to the sign - "Control" - "We're almost there!"

Zeylla took one look at the sturdiness of the door before them, and knew this was too much for her. She tried anyways, but the door didn't budge, even when she attempted to ram it like she had seen Chiara do. All that did was make her shoulder throb.

"Well, it's up to you, Chiara," she tried not to look at their leader, feeling just the slightly bit embarrassed to be seen failing in front of a very capable troll. Chiara less so, since the blueblood had seen her in...more inebriated states of mind.

Chiara knew her shoulder was going to be sore the next night, and when she felt herself bash down this door, she knew it. The blueblood rubbed the spot, frowning a little, before going back to pretending it was all okay. She had to look tough for her teammates. This ship was big, and they had a ways to go.
