Comment: Birds are totally easy to draw but usually don't paint them. Needs some touch up and a bit of shadow in places but overall I'm happy with this little pal.

theme: continue a prev work (day 39: redraw old art)
Comment: about 50% colored. Opted to challenge myself to redraw in only the same original materials. Colored pencils, pastels, and a bit of good ole black ink. Felt nostalgic af blending so much with pencils. Also was a pain because its so much more time heavy than water color. >.> intend to color outfit, add some detail background, and shade for lighting a bit better.

Theme: Potato.

Squat brown lump of mashable skin and carbohydrates sitting dense in lack of thought. Eyes sprouting from every pore from neglect, for all the wasted time waiting in that dark dank bin. Forgotten. Dirty and old and hoping for that warmth and attention, a purpose of self. Starving to be the supplement of life to someone, anyone. Potato.

I wanted to explore more color for Overlord, sorry sorry sorry. Saw those jade eyes and wanted to try cooler tones. v.v she looks cute and like you'd never suspect her to eat souls. Please forgive me for not going black and pink. Hope you maybe like it a bit.

Your Ponysona looked fierce so I wanted to do armor for her of some sort. If I had a gray option I would have attempted silver armor rather than gold. Should have gone other colors, though I dont hate the style? Hope you like it.

Comment: I wanted to take time on a piece. Themes played with horror tones as well as equine.
This is not a cuddly piece. My roommate even went to far as to actually say its graphic. Fear isnt always mild, fear is blinding.
