The party retreats to the portal, which, for some reason, the enemies are loathe to go near.

He followed after Toki and Katya again, this time careful to tuck his camera away so he didn't take another picture and catch a slime monster's attention. Twice was enough of a learning experience for him.

It wasn't with a whole lot of relief that he jumped in and attacked this next irate slime monster. They weren't very welcoming to fairly harmless students...
He frowned. The slime in his claws was starting to crust.

She lunges at the new slime, her eyes glittering in her rage. She would be so glad to get home and go for a cleansing swim in the pond, but for now, she was sick to death of being SLIMEY!

There was more jumping and slashing and frowning because all of this slime was sticking to his pelt and his hair and basically to his entire body and he really, really didn't like that.

If it had eyes, it'd be glaring at you. ...Probably. Slimes aren't very expressive creatures.
She manages another attack, cursing (not for the first time) the fact that she once again forgot to bring some kind of knife.

He missed this time, in his rage and discomfort with all the slime he was covered in. It was beyond uncomfortable...this treasure better be worth it.

There was more jumping and slashing...he felt like a blue and brown blur.
He wasn't that fast. It was all in his mind as he got sucked into the fight.
