To Hemera, Panili laughed. “I feel like I’m not growing up at all… Look at all of you! Gosh, I can’t believe how far we’ve come already.”

She paused as Hemera continued, and when she made her statement Panili clasped her hands together. “That’s wonderful! Oh! Hemera, congratulations. I think your, ah, bloodpusher is in the right place and your thinkpan is too. This is fantastic. With the crew having been placed into honorable retirement, we need trolls among us to be involved in many walks of life - especially those opportunities that legitimize our movement. It’s actually a blessing to have you aware of and improving Alternia with your station as a prominent troll in the military. It’s rather impossible for me to get that same ethos that you can provide, so I’m so grateful for you letting me know.”

"Well hey there, sweetheart!" Malory put one hand on her hip, and her other huge mitt reached out to give Hemera a thick pat on the shoulder/back area.

It took her a moment to register, and her face lit up. "Ah, yes! Now that - I'm assuming you've accepted the promotion of sorts to take the role of off-world lead in this endeavor - I thought I might pass a li'l somethin' down to you."

She produced a small, thick band of deep emerald with a luminescent pink stone set in the flat top of the band. Reminescent of Alternia's moons, the ring glistened in the light. "It's a relic now, but it may help you out." She flipped up the stone and a small, half-spherical lens made an appearance on the base of the ring. "This baby's mostly jewelry since the olden days, but she may come in handy. She's got regular still-image capture capabilities in case you need to record somethin' in a pinch, but it's best at infrared capture. It can give you a little buzz warning if unexpected motion or heat bodies pop up nearby. She can withstand tons of pressure ('cos she was meant for deep dives where the sun don't shine, honey). You can hook her up to download your data. I figure if you're too pressed up there to transmit data, images would be mighty helpful. Not to mention if there's any leftover space husks up there they won't get the ol' drop on ya, sweetpea." She winked, even though the sentiment was rather unsettling. "Anyways, just thought I'd give you a little token of my own appreciation for doin' right by us. Hope this doesn't clash with your style."

Malory's emerald and gold presence shimmered - it would be a misstep to deny an accessory from this particular maven.
