June 2019 Academy: Creative Writing Junior 1. Student describes themselves like they would in a book. (150 words) 2. Post a small RP response in thread with the student's reaction to the assignment. (100 words) 4. Must be at least 350 words total 5. ??? Profit!
Username: SSBrosB Student Name: Talia Bio: Talia wasn’t much of a Geist to look at. She had a weird combination that consisted of orange skin and tendrils, and dark blue-green hair. At times she considered herself to look half-pumpkin because of the combination and had often thought about changing her hair at times but had yet to gain the courage to do so. She often wore oversized and somewhat baggy clothing, since she was not able to afford any nicer ones and she wasn’t too much into fashion. Unfortunately, this along with her being a Geist, often made her the target of a lot of bullying.
Because of that, she was very shy and liked to keep to herself, her roommate being her only friend at the Academy. Still, she had some familiars to keep her company and to brighten her day a bit when she was feeling sad, but most often they would usually get themselves into trouble and she would have to clean up their mess.
Response: Talia sighed as she looked at the piece of paper that they were to write their “biography” on. Well, not really a biography, it did say to write themselves like they were in a book being described or something. She wasn’t too sure, but she would write it. She just thought that the teacher was pretty dumb with this assignment considering that there was nothing good that Talia had to tell about herself. She was an orphan and a Geist and someone who was bullied a lot. Did that sound like a fun character? Did the teacher want the students to put themselves down? Talia felt like this exercise was meant to do just that, and she would make sure that the teacher regretted ever thinking about it.
