The design was beautiful, and Kimberly was impressed with the sheer quality of work. Using his powers to control how tattoos were placed would make his life easy, a walk in the park to some, but she could tell he was dedicated to his craft. After all, he himself had said he didn't use his powers to ink skin, only paper. She wanted to watch him glide a tattoo gun across the skin, to see a true masterpiece take shape. She'd sat through some pretty painful tattoos, but how would the boys fare with someone of Hunter's level of talent?

"Are you sure?" Kolya blinked when Hunter immediately turned to another page and held out his hand. The best way to see if he wanted a tattoo done on him was to get an idea, and what better idea than a temporary piece? All he had to do was envision an idea in his mind before he touched Hunter. Would the nature of the design put Max out of his element? Kolya held his breath as he allowed his skin to make contact and waited for the magic to happen once again.
Watching Max's powers work, making him seem possessed, was not something she was expecting. However, it didn't scare her like it would have for many. She was merely surprised at how it happened. It wasn't the way she would want a tattoo done, but if he offered a temporary piece, she would at least accept that much. She didn't particularly like needles, to a full-on tattoo was out of the question. She even hated getting shots or blood drawn from the doctors! She let out an oooh and an aaaah as Hunter performed his power, not wanting to upset him for not being supportive.
Hunter had taken hold of Kolya's hand and, again, used his ink manipulation to conjure what was in the other's mind to the paper. He removed his hands and turned the book around once more, allowing Kolya to see what had appeared. It was a realistic drawing, a graveyard background with a skull in the foreground, almost hidden by the remaining details. "ι ωσυℓ∂ яє¢σммєη∂ тнιѕ αѕ α вα¢к ριє¢є, мσяє тнαη αη αям ριє¢є. тнє ѕнєєя αмσυηт σƒ ∂єтαιℓ ηєє∂є∂ яєqυιяєѕ α ℓαяgєя ѕυяƒα¢є. єιтнєя вα¢к σя υρρєя ℓєg, вυт ι ∂ση'т ѕєє уσυ ℓιкιηg α тнιgн тαтт," he stated, giving his tattooist opinion. He knew first-hand that a bad placement could ruin a perfectly good design. He'd been tattooing for several years, between mechanic shifts to earn extra money, so he wanted to make sure every piece of work he put on someone's skin was utter perfection. To most, it seemed he was cocky, but he was merely proud of his own quality of work.
Kimberly was fascinated with the work that Hunter had produced. "Wow that's amazing quality of work. I don't see that as just putting their thoughts on paper, it has to bring out your artistic ability as well. It looks phenominal and would be an awesome back-piece. Those are the easiest to cover for a professional setting. I'd love a nice rib piece, if you could draw something up. I kind of have an idea of paper already though, but I don't want to use this exact reference picture," she admitted. The artwork she was talking about was a Harry Potter themed piece, centering on the Patronus Charm, and her's being a Lion in her own opinion. She wanted to see Hunter's actual artistic talent to draw it, rather than using his ink manipulation.

Kolya let his mouth drop as he looked at the piece of art in front of him. It was better than what he'd imagined, proving what Kimberly had said before. "I'd get that in a heartbeat!" he gasped. If Hunter was willing to put it on his back as a temporary piece, and he liked it on his skin, he'd most definetly get it. But, before Hunter could make promises, he'd need Administrative permission to ink on students. Kolya had a feeling many students would like tattoos at some point in time, or even to have current ones removed or covered, so Hunter could always have a class of his own dedicated to performing this service. Kolya would be a customer day in and day out if needed. The work was hypnotic and mesmerizing.
Jace nodded and smiled when he said he would put it on him temporarily. "That would be awesome. I would love to see how it's going to look he told him then watched as he designed one for Kolya. He smiled at Kolya's reaction. He seemed really excited about the design. Jace was captivated by this whole process it was amazing to watch. He was excited to see if Max would be able to get permission to tattoo students. He felt he would have plenty of clients. He listened to Kimberly as she talked about her ideas. He leaned back relaxing and enjoying the company of his new friends.
Kimberly was waiting to hear back from Hunter on his opinions over hand-drawing a Harry Potter tattoo for her when Jace jumped back into the conversation. "Maybe while we are there we can sign the petition to get the tavern built. I don't know about you, but I would kill for a drink after a long day of assessments," she joked with a light laugh. Her American accent showed strongly when she spoke in a joking or teasing manner, taking a slight Australian accent to the way she said certain words and the slang she used on a daily basis.

"I think I'd be up for wearing that for 24 hours to see if I want to dedicate to it. But, we want to be sure you'd have administrative permission to tattoo students. Maybe it can be a weekend evening thing? We can make a meeting with the principal today, he has open slots," he mentioned with a wide grin. He was excited for the idea of getting a tattoo. It wouldn't be hard to get a teacher to watch the process being done to allow Hunter to make his art permanent. Surely students wanted ink fixed and new ink applied like himself and Jace did.
Hunter was happy that everyone was happy with the work he'd provided. He turned to Kimberly to see the idea she had down on paper and in her mind. "ι ωσυℓ∂ ℓσνє тσ ∂єѕιgη ѕσмєтнιηg 域 тнє тσρ σƒ му нєα∂. ℓєανє αηу яєƒєяєη¢єѕ ωιтн мє αη∂ ι ωιℓℓ gєт ѕσмєтнιηg ∂σηє ιη α ƒєω ∂αуѕ," he admitted. Ebony was excited to watch the artwork appear and the conversation turn to plans to move out of the Cafeteria. She knew it would be closing in half an hour to prepare for the dinner rush. Only the food stalls and trucks would be open during the entire day. When Kimberly mentioned the tavern, she turned so sharply her headband nearly flew off. "I might not be all for drinking, but if they have a dart board or a bowling alley then I'm all in!" she giggled excitedly.

Noah, normally excellent with his time-management because of his habit for scheduling his entire day from start to finish, was rushing to get a coffee to keep himself awake from hours of late-night studying. There was only twenty minutes or so that the Cafeteria would be open, and he wanted a specific drink from Starbucks. His drink of choice was always a Caramel Brulee Coffee, extra large, to keep himself going through a long all-nighter of study. He quickly ordered, apologizing frequently to the barista for interrupting her as she was closing, even after she remarked it was fine. As he made his way towards the door, the stack of books he was carrying under his arm slipped away and plummeted into the ground. Notes and bookmarks came loose from the pages and he let out a long, resonant sigh of anger and disappointment.
"Not again," he muttered and put his coffee down at the table directly to his left. He knelt to the ground and picked up his books, but the pages and notes kept evading his fingertips. Frustrated beyond belief, he flung his head back. Sudden pain and a loud thud filled his head and he realised, only too late, he had swung his head back into the table beside his coffee. "Ow!" he cursed.
Jace listened as everyone talked. They talked about going to see the principal and signing a petition though he began to get lost again by the voices in the shadows. He looked around aimlessly and noticed a rather frazzled guy getting some coffee. He stood up and stretched putting his sweatshirt back on. He pushed his glasses up as they slipped down his nose a bit and ruffled his own hair. "We should head somewhere else now" he said looking to his new group of friends again since the cafeteria would be closing soon. He looked to Noah again and noticed his books fell as he was leaving. He walked towards him figuring he should help the guy out. He looked beat but classes hadn't even begun yet. He was about to kneel down and help him with his books and papers when he bumped his head on the table and he grabbed his coffee before it could spill. "That would have been bad. Looks like you really need this" he said and squatted down beside him. "Your head alright?" he asked him extending a tatted hand he helped him get his papers and notes together. "Need help carrying these?" he offered still holding his coffee for him so it wouldn't spill while he gathered up his things.
Jace had beaten Kimberly to saving the coffee on the table when Noah smacked his head into it. She made quick work of picking up the bits of paper, thankful she hadn't trimmed her nails down too much before classes had begun. "You alright?" she asked him, handing everything she had collected back to him. She helped him to his feet and made sure his head was fine. He didn't seem to be injured, only embarrassed. "My name is Kimberly-Anne. This is my friend, Jace. We can help you bring those to your dorm room, if you want?" she asked with a soft smile.

Kolya had not even noticed that someone had walked into the cafeteria, let alone dropped anything and hit his head, until Kimberly and Jace had leapt into action. He grabbed his belongings, and those of his friends, and walked over. "Is he okay?" he called out as he made his way over. He checked behind him to make sure that Ebony and Hunter were going to follow, although it was up to them whether or not they did so. He turned his attention to the boy who made a rather clutzy entrance and waited for him to say something before asking further questions.

Noah was quite relieved to see students coming to help him, one boy ensuring he was fine and a girl retrieving his paperwork for him. He had half expected students to laugh and mock him, record him struggling so it could be uploaded for the masses to laugh at his embarrassment. The girl introduced herself and the light-haired boy, to which he smiled and nodded. "My name is Noah, Noah Ballinger. My head is quite fine, my ego quite the opposite. While I greatly appreciate the offer for help, I can manage to get this to my dormitory by myself," he mentioned lightly. His Iowa accent was coming through as he spoke, yet it was soft and sophisticated at the same time.
"I don't want to get in the way of what you and your friends are doing after all. I still have a lot of reading to do," he stated, not wanting to come across as ungrateful and rude.
He piled his books on the spare table, placing all of the scraps of paper in the pages of the top-most book. He fit most of the books into the backpack he had with him, choosing to carry the remaining six with his drink balanced on the top. Confident that he had everything under control, he bid the ones who helped him - Jace and Kimberly - a fond farewell and departed from the building. He did stop for one moment and turn to place a card on the table the two were beside, before turning and exiting the cafeteria. The card, if turned over, had his details on it, such as his email and social media accounts.
Hunter had been packing his things away in the time that this newcomer had come in, gotten his coffee, and dropped everything. Kimberly and Jace were quick to help him, but he didn't stay for a chat. He reached to the paper on the table and looked it over. The back was blank, but in turning it around, it was a business card. Hunter wished he'd have been able to help, but just like Kolya and Ebony he hadn't been paying attention after Jace said they should go towards the Administration offices in the Library.
Jace stood watched as he gathered his things and left after thanking them. "I wonder what he's studying" he said wondering what reading he had to do. He looked to Max when he looked at the business card that was left. "Interesting. It's not uncommon. My school used to recommend we had some" he said with a shrug. He looked around at his friends wondering what they planned to do next. He was sure they were going to head to the administration office.
sorry Having a bit of writers block. School had been a bit hectic with exams and homework.
Kimberly looked at the card and couldn't find any details about it, but from the sheer amount of books it would be something intense. "I'd say something relating to science or math or something like that. We can always ask the next time we see him. It's bound to be sooner rather than later," she stated. She looked to see Kolya and the others walking up to them, ready to go. "Well, either way, let's get going. The sooner we talk to the principal, the better. Who knows, maybe they can let you tattoo during the free time, Hunter?" she said with a smile.

Kolya was ready to go, making sure Ebony wasn't lagging behind. Her energy had seemed to unexpectedly stall, but she didn't seem to have a changed personality. More than anything, she seemed distracted. He paid no mind, following after Kimberly. She had proven she knew the campus like the back of her hand, so she was the leader now. Not that it was far to the Library, only a short walk across the winding pathways. "I'm keen for that tavern, to be honest. It'd be a good way to relax on the weekends, especially after testing," he laughed.
