The scientist left laughing as he opened and closed the door behind him. A soft juggled hinted he had locked it before leaving completely.

The rest of the room was silent but those outside were staring with slightly wide eyes toward Zaku, or what they could see of him. There were only three people, a male and two females metas from the look of it, assuming the collar was any indication. None of them got up to try and talk with him through he glass, even seeming to try and not look in his direction at all. Oot the corner of his eye spirits began filling the room.. dead metas every one of them.

There was a soft jiggle at the door again and it opened, a small meta girl entered pushing a cart that was almost taller than her. Only two antelope horns peeked out from the other side as she looked around the side at Zaku with wide nervous eyes and push the cart closer. "H-hello" she said shyly before alarm made her eyes wide and she ran back to close the door.

"I-I was told to bring you food... " she looked back but held her hand against the door for a few more seconds as if afraid it would open again. Only then did she turn back and avoided his face. "What do you want to eat? There is chicken, beef or just vegetables "

The girl blinked and instead of looking excited she looked like he had kicked her to the ground. "You really don't want to eat?" she asked, disappointed as she fingered the towel from the cart. "It..tastes really good " she said trying to give him a smile but only help his gaze for a few seconds before looking away. "Really good... and they also said you had to drink after your opr ..opprr...abortion? "

The girl sighed softly and grabbed a chair and placed it in front of Zaku before moving to the wall and pressing a button that turn on a tv that was hanging from the wall. It flickered to life, a news channel that was talking about the death of the Renegade leader, it was big enough to cut into the news about the war. They warned for graphic violence before showing a small video of Zaku being killed and stabbed all nearly at the same time before moving away after a bit. There was celebration talking of how Zaku was found and caught infiltrating SIU and now he was gone. Norcrest still warns not to take down wanted flyers, while they are very certain this was Zaku there is still a chance it could be a imitator.

The girl took out a vegetable dish and some juice hesitantly and moved back to sit in front of Zaku to eat. She looked like she obviously didn't want to eat but was doing so anyways. ".... I like your hair" she said quietly staring at is fading tips.

The girl nodded looking like she was about to throw up stopped it and kept eating before again nearly throwing up and swallowing it down with tears in her eyes. The third time she couldn't hold it and ran to the garbage under one of the desks and threw up over and over until her stomach was empty. Only then did she start crying, silent tears as she moved to the cart and tried to work quickly to change the garbage before the scientist returned. "S-sorry" she sniffled moving to finish up what was left but this time she wasn't looking at Zaku. "Is that you? .... they really don't want your family to find you" she muttered taking a reluctant bite.

The the people outside said nothing, kept their faces away from Zaku and the whole scene.

The chains were tight around his wrists and also had some padding. The chains connected to a mechanism in the wall that looks like it could contract or loosen all four chains at once or one at a time.

The news said how he was executed in a military hold in Criel, being held by both Criel and Norcrest forces and that his body would furthered be studied there.

"If you keep pulling you'll just rub it raw and it will hurt more" she muttered.

"I'm okay" she muttered and kept eating. "I already ate two other people's food because they didn't want to. " she said softly, a little surprised he seemed nice and not angry and loud like the others. "I have to or I get in trouble" she said in a whisper.

Looking to the TV she blinked, not even flinching at the blood before looking back at him. "How would they know? You could be really be dead....you almost were. They were arguing really hard while you were asleep.." she finished and looked relieved only to eye the drink with trepidation.

She took it then shook her head "Everyone tries to get out...." she muttered looking down. "Then they all leave in those bags but they are not moving again. Or they follow what he says... "

"Oh" she said softly staring down at the drink. "You would smile as they killed you? Why do you want to die?" She looked up at him confused then looked at the bag where he motioned, fearful and nervous as she stared at the drink. "Last time I threw it away they knew and I got into more trouble " she said looking at him nervously and stared at the bag then the drink.

"They were arguing about killing you or using you in experiments. They really want to see you break but they also really want to use you. " she said quietly. "It isn't that bad... when he loses interest in you things get better " she added, being careful not to say the scientist name, afraid that might call him.

"The more you fight the more interest he has in you " she sipped the juice and look nauseous before taking another "The worse things get.. "

The girl swallow the rest and sighed in relief only to look worried at the food cart, she had others she had to go feed. "You are strange... all the other new people who keep fighting don't want to die at all...but you don't mind..." she shivered. "You're braver than me" she said softly as she got up to move everything and turn off the TV. "He told me to turn it on for you.. I wish you good luck ..and I guess i'll see you again later.." she muttered.
