They had spent quite enough time inside, it was time to go out and explore! At least for him, and they were wanting for fresh meat. "Would anyone fancy going for a hunt perhaps? I need to get outside and do something before my head quite explodes." He meant it too, people like he and his brother were not meant for prolonged idle lounging..after some hard work sure he would lizard it up and bask in the sun but after three or four days he was slowly loosing his mind!

Keel watched his brother all but twitching out in the corner and agreed. "I'm up for a hunt, I need to get out too. In as much as I don't particularly like catching the thing, I like helping and pitting my speed and strength against it. What say you Fleade? Are you up for an Oban hunt in the desert sands? It might be good to stretch yourself out now with some exercise after the incident." He wanted her recovery to go perfectly. She was so important to him now.

With the comment and then the glare, Fleade looked away and at the floor. Yes, she had used the now princess’ well meaning against her. The ice woman had used whatever kindness and generosity that had been given and used it as Obas downfall. It had been lucky for Tendaji that such a good hearted noble was there that day, or else the future of tendaji might have been a lot different. She was thankful for the change in topic as she'd worked hard to find the peace she has now and didn't want to go back to the person she was before. “That sounds like a good plan. You're right, Keelthy. I'll need to start working out again to regain my strength.” Not that she was weak, she'd healed a lot since her injury, thanks to the brothers.

A part of her knew what they wanted to accomplish by taking everyone out of a setting they were familiar with and putting them into one where they might have to work as a team. She conceded, silently to herself, that it probably wasn’t such a bad idea. Forcing them to work together was a good way to learn someone's strengths and weaknesses. But she wasn’t really interested in this for two reasons: she wasn’t ready to get to know this woman yet and she didn’t want to gain any knowledge that she could perhaps use against her one day. Make no mistake, the only reason Varnia was currently being nice and making an attempt to be polite to this woman was for Elthy’s sake. She was concerned for him and Reil alone. Otherwise the ice woman might have been dead already and the Oban that killed her wouldn’t have had any regrets. With a sigh and shake of her head, she knew she would decline. ”I appreciate the offer boys. But I still have duties I have to get back to.” Varinia squeezed Reil’s hand, it was as much as she could take and she hoped he understood. She wanted a few more moments with him though as she would still have to go get her things from upstairs.

Well some of them would go hunting anyway, no matter which. He and Keel needed out, it made no nevermind if they had company or not. Fleade was coming around physically and he thought that soon she would be able to do all of the old things she could before. He was grateful he had never had an injury like that. It took a long time to recover and he had never been held up before by anything. He grabbed his sword and swished it. “I am ready! Wonder what we will find out there today Quhar, some rabbits you know ..salad if we fail.” He hoped they didn’t fail.

Keel patted Fleade’s hand and smiled brightly at her, yes. “You are doing much better, I am proud.” He waved cheerfully at Vari. “It’s okay, I’m sure you have some work to get to.” He sighed at his brother’s exuberance. “Don’t let Mom catch you swishing that don’t think you are too big for her not to spank you brat.” Reill made a face and Keel placed Fleade’s hand down before chasing after his brother, tackling him to the ground after his brother had dropped the sword. “Teach you to sass me boy.” The brother’s laughed and wrestled on the floor like children.

Fleade was silently glad that the other woman had turned down the offer of hunting from the brothers. The day had been ‘exciting’ enough as it was. She didn’t want to have to worry about the Oban woman having her weapon around again. Fleade squeezed Keelthy’s hand gently as he let go of her to go back to the way she was used to the brothers being: sort of childish. That was one of the reasons she’d found herself loving both of them. Sure they had their differences, but they had many of the same qualities as well. Which could be expected in brothers. “Now now boys, don’t let your mom catch you fighting in the house like that.”

Varinia post 14 (LAST POST YAY)
Varinia sighed as the boys went back to behaving like themselves. She’d known them for long enough and knew it had only been a matter of time until they started up their usual antics. Perhaps it was one of the reasons she didn’t want to go hunting with them. It was more likely that they would behave if she went, unsure what the oban woman would do in the presence of the other woman who both had their weapons available to them. That wasn’t a position she wanted to put them in however and so she slipped passed them with a slight smile and made her way to Reillan’s room. Inside she found her weapon and various other possessions that she’d either brought with her earlier or that she’d left a previous time. Taking some and leaving others, Varinia made sure she had her spear and made her way out of the house. Being outside and out of the same residence as ‘Ethelfleade’ made her feel better and with a deep breath started on her way home. She wondered what Naevius would think.

Reill could see that Var was tense, but she had come amazingly far in a short time, he was very proud of her. She was a respectable woman in every sense of the word and she had proved today just how much respect she had for himself and his brother. He loved her all the more for it. She was strength and beauty and persurverance all rolled into a petite ball of fire and spear point. He was a lucky, lucky man. He pinned his brother proving his superiority ..at least this round, Keel was clever and would get him back he had no doubt, then he stood and straightened his clothing out. “Well then, off to get ready.” He nodded at Fleade, “My lady.” Before strutting out of the chamber like he owned the whole house.

Keel snarled at his big brother, “Oaf.” He muttered before rising himself, much more gracefully than he had gone down he might add. “Today went rather well in the end at least.” He held his hand out for his sweet Fleade. He loved how soft the tops of her hands were, a sharp counter to the roughness of the palm, a testament that this was a working woman who weilded her blades more often than not. He found the contradiction quite sexy indeed. “Mom would twist our ears hard if she found us wrestling like that...well at least if she could catch us anyway.” He chuckled. “We haven’t been spanked in years though, we stay playful so our faces don’t turn to stone.”
“It happened to our Father you should see him frown.” He patted her hand. “I think this will be fun for you.”

Fleade laughed lightly. These boys were something else. As Reil left abs Keelthy offered his hand, she took it and sighed as she pulled herself close to him. “Sometimes I think turning to stone wouldn't be so bad. But other times I know I'm wrong. “ The ice woman looked him in the eyes, hoping he would understand that they had a lot to do with the change in her way of thinking. She began stretching, if they were going to be going on a hunt, she would need to be ready for the exercise. “I think this will be fun too. I'll get to show you two how things are really done.” Fleade stuck her tongue out playfully and bumped his hip with hers. “Let's go get a head start from Reil. I'm sure he'll catch up quickly anyway.” Ethelfleade laughed as she made her way towards to door, determined to prove herself in this.
