Such raw and natural talent with this one; just as he knew and saw before. He may have been a genius, a prodigy, but he still lacked guidance in somethings. He'd be telling a lie if he said he didn't know how to help him. Gyoza switched his gaze to his former student who stared at him still with contempt. But he looked at them with sorrow, sorry that it had to come to this. He would take sole responsibility for the lives they led and perhaps there wasn't a way to atone for that. Maybe... Was turning a new page and starting anew the right way? It was something he needed to seriously think about. But for now... "This is the Kamehameha. It is the signature technique of the Turtle Style" he explained. And now, it was entrusted to this young man.

Daiko's hands glew bright as the others did too. The Kamehameha? Sounded nice. Did it roll off of the tongue as well? He'd look to them as he then let out another chuckle. "Signature technique huh?" He'd say as the students reared back their arms in a bit of power as they continued to try to charge it like the young man did. Though in his eyes the technique was something special, more than his master's killer technique. Daiko's mouth began to recite the name as he curved his hands around the light. "Ka. . .Me. . ." He'd mutter as he leaned into the motion a bit, holding his hands as far back as he could in the position. "Ha. . . Me. . ." The Daiko's body would glow as he gritted his teeth. The release would be for nothing if he broke concentration here. Daiko created a bit of a gale as he looked to the three as they combined their waves into one, shooting it forth at the two. Daiko would retaliate by pushing it forward with a beam of his own. "HA!" He'd say at the end as the wave would take form and dash to meet their's for a mere moment. The two blasts seemed to be equal in size and power as they collided in the middle, creating a rather large crater in the floor. The boy's hands would remain still as the smoke cleared and the three laid on their backs panting as Daiko looked to his palms. "Wow, I felt like if I didn't hold back, that would've been devastating." Daiko would feel a tingle on his palms as the Yan would fall on his back, the shock getting to him.

In but mere moments he had made the Kamehameha his own, as if he'd been using the technique for some time now. As for the three he faced, they were preparing their own blasts to contest Daiko. Gyoza, from sensing the ki, could tell this was horribly one sided in the boy's favor. 'Just how strong is this kid?' he wondered, studying his movements. He didn't even tell him to chant the name while performing it, again something that just came natural to him. The man crossed his arms, daring not to even blink as he watched the beams of light clash. And after the ensuing explosion, he couldn't help but smirk. Daiko intentionally lowered his power to match the three of them evenly. The boy even confirmed as much as he stared at his hands in awe. Gyoza would approach his lost pupils who now laid on the ground, shaking his head. "Again...I am sorry for what I did to you three. There may be no way for me to atone for this. But my death won't make things better for you, only worse. If I left the Turtle School in your care, it would become the very opposite for which it was founded. Now I ask you...leave and don't come back." Yes of course he would spare his former students; the darkness they carried was not their fault.

Daiko would look at the wayward students who were fearful of the two. It seemed as the master approached they scrambled back a bit as Daiko would limber up his arm. The words the old man said would create a way for them to see something, though they wouldn't stick around to converse about it. The three would scurry off at the end of the man's sentence without a single word back. Daiko would approach Gyoza's side as he shook his hands of the tingle the new technique gave him. "That was awesome." Daiko would say, closing his eyes. "I can't wait to continue!" Daiko would state with enthusiasm. The boy would clutch his hands infront of his face with a grand smile as he looked up to the old man. "You aren't retired! I knew it, I saw the way you threw that blast into the air! And then the way you fended those two off was really cool!" Daiko would announce before putting his hands back into position of the Kamehameha wave. Preforming it several times before he stopped, staring a bit. Daiko lowered his hands as he pulled his glasses out. The young man put the specs on and examined closer seemingly past the old man. "E-eh?" He'd mutter to himself before walking a bit forward. "I-is that?" Daiko would begin to tie his hair back as he scurried forth. "Ziber san!" He'd call out as he stood a god few feet away. He'd wave his hand a bit at his former opponent and hold a hand to his hip.

Would they return and attempt revenge again? He had no idea and could only wait and see. Truly, he wished nothing but the best for them. The hermit sighed, unfurling his arms and hanging his head. 'Now what to do...' he mulled, looking to the boy who took his side. 'About this one?' Already, he was cheering and celebrating their victory. But his mention of when they would continue made Gyoza look at him with a wide eye. It seemed he got the wrong idea from watching him in that little altercation with those guys. "Hey! Don't get the wrong idea kid!" he tried to explain. Unfortunately, he was already going off on his tangent, making the motions for the technique he just learned. Seriously, what was he going to do with the boy? Now that he knew the Kamehameha... While he mused to himself, stroking his chin, Daiko had taken notice of another person nearby. As Gyoza looked, he recognized the strange individual from the tournament as well. It certainly made the world seem smaller. More importantly, that fish he had only reminded his stomach that it needed food. Without a word, the muscular man dived into the water to catch two of them himself.

Ziber felt the shift in the air as he turned to look at group that had gathered near by. He could see that the people here were about to fought but a familiar face made him blink twice with surprise. The frost demon saw his opponent from the tournament stand across the way standing with a man who seemed to have quite a bit of experience on them. Ziber crossed his arms and he began to watch the fight before him, interested to see what the saiyan would pull out of his sleeve this time. He kept his eye on Daiko, as while of his new friend, as they fought the three others. It seem the enemies knew the bearded man in someway, but it wasn't a good relationship at the moment. As he watched, the frost demon used his telekinesis to get the supplies he need to cook the fish behind him.
Ziber watched as he saw the power that the saiyan new friend had, showing his years of experience in the battle before him. From how it sounded, the people that were attacking them was the former students of the older gentleman. From what he heard, it seemed they a bad break up as the students wanted their revenge on the former master. The frost demon wasn't surprised when he saw Daiko jump into combat, knowing how eager he was when he first battled him. Ziber continued to watch as the old man got blasted by his former student, seeing the limits that he now had. He then was at lose of words again what he saw next as Daiko was called over by the old man and saw an attack that he couldn't explain in words. The attack was beautiful, almost breath taking, and seemed like it was filled with hope for the future. It oddly made him feel uncomfortable...
The Kamehameha... Ziber couldn't believe the attack he saw or that his former opponent was the one that fired the attack. He turned away from a moment to try and take in what he had all seen with that flash of blue, but as he had felt first hand, he held back on the attack. As he tried to collect himself, the frost demon heard his name called by Daiko. Ziber took a deep breath as he turned once again to face the two and walked over to were the saiyan stood. "Ah, dear Daiko. I didn't expect you to come around here. I haven't gotten visitors since I moved in. Tell me, who... Is... Your... Friend?" He questioned when he saw the saiyan's friend moved to the river and jumped in. The frost demon had to take a minute as he didn't expect to the man jump into the river and only could guess he was going in there to get fish for himself. Ziber then cleared his throut as he turned his attention back to the saiyan. "Well, it seems like your friend was eager to take a dip. He had wanted food, I would have shared."
“I still remember that day. It burns bright in my mind and is reminder of what must be done. I... We will have our revenge. That is a promise I will keep."

Daiko would rub the back of his head as he gave a timid chuckle in Ziber's direction. It seemed that he wasn't expecting the young Saiyan to join in the setting. Though as he looked around and then to the crater he'd feel a bit confused at the context of visitors. His eyes blinked slowly as he put a hand in his pocket. "Visitors?" Isn't that because you live in a forest. His eyes would look around and see the great crater that must've been where the alien'd youth had stayed. His hands went into his pocket as he turned his head to see Gyoza just leap into the river to go retrieve fish. Daiko's eyes closed and he smiled with a light chuckle. "He's gonna be my martial arts teacher." Daiko told to Ziber. He seemed to be so proud as Gyoza swam through the river, retrieving what would be his food soon enough. Though as he did, it seemed that Ziber would speak on his own generosity, though Daiko's head would shake. "I think it's part of his training. It's cool! I can't wait to learn more!" Daiko exclaimed before unbuttoning his jacket and removing it from his body. "I'm gonna go try to catch some fish too! It might help with the training." Daiko would unbutton the shirt under it before rushing to the water and jumping in.

It definitely made his singed hands feel better after handling that wave. That wasn't something he'd done in years and it felt like it too! But now he would use these hands to snag one of the large fish that swam around him. He held his breath, watching and waiting for the right one. Suddenly, Daiko would join him in the river, hoping to catch his own lunch probably. Whether he watched how the hermit did it or not was of no concern to him. Without warning, he'd grab one by the tail fin, spin it around and toss it hard around to break the surface. It would land nearby the crater, flopping around out of it's element. Gyoza followed after it, taking a deep breath as he surfaced. "Ha! Got a real lively one!" he grinned, making his way over to his lunch. Once he got it to settle down, the old man would turn his attention to the odd blue man. "Eh? You live out here too?!" he'd remark, noticing his tent on the other side of the river.

Ziber could see the confusion through the young saiyan's actions as he watched him looking around and having an interest in the crater he had made before. He was a bit relieved that his former opponent didn't see his tent hidden by the rocks. The frost demon could guess if they weren't looking for his base, then it would blend into the surroundings. Ziber attention returned to the saiyan when he said that the old man would soon be his teacher. He could see that Daiko was proud and excited to see what his new teacher would teach him. The frost demon couldn't help but smile when he saw Daiko's determination one wanting to grow stronger. Ziber then watched as the saiyan followed his master into the water to catch a ship.
While the two went to get their fish, Ziber thought that he should prepare his fish for cooking. He flew over back to his tent as he picked up one the pre made wood spears and the supplies he would need for a fire. When he got back, the frost demon stacked the firewood that was needed to cook the size of the fish he caught. Ziber then pierced the fish through the mouth and placed the other half of the spear into the ground to allow it to cook by the fire. His attention moved to back to the old man as he catch flew out of the water and him following it out of the water. The frost demon then saw that the master of arts saw where he was staying but luckily not ship that hid in the tree group. Ziber turned to the man and placed his hand behind his back as he began to answer his question.
"Yes. I just recently... Moved here. This place seemed very calming and I had no place to go. So, I moved in, but that has cause some of the wild life here to treat me very weirdly. But that aside, I believe introductions are in order. It pleasure to meet you. My name is Ziber. I hope we can get along as.. Neighbors? Yes, I believe that is the word." Ziber placed his right hand over his chest as he bowed to the man, showing the man respect as a new person to the neighborhood. He then returned back to his normal stance and waited for a response or if Daiko appeared with his fish to join the school of fish. The frost demon was interested to see what the man could teach, especially after he saw the saiyan use that odd technique. Either way, Ziber wanted to see how his former opponent would convince the bearded man to teach the saiyan.

Daiko's fish was held overhead as he looked up at it squirming. Daiko's eyes gleamed with what wonders the fish would bring. Though after a bit of it moving around he would tuck it under his small arm as he jumped from the stream and slowly descended to Gyoza's side. His eyes closed as his smile was wide, giving a light chuckle looking between the two. Daiko's hand would rub the back of his head as he crouched down to Ziber's look and then looked over to Gyoza's expression. His mouth would open to speak but soon after close and frown. His stomach rumbled a bit as he rubbed the back of his head and looked to his fish. "I'm getting hungry with Ziber-san cooking and all." He'd say out loud as he stood up straight and looked to Gyoza. "When does training start? I really wanna get into the swing of things!" He'd say while slightly more excited. |♢| Universe 6 |♢| Human |♢| BP: 195 |♢| |♢| Main Theme - - |♢| ✚ Gyoza scratched his head as he studied Ziber who he thought was a very odd individual. Something about the guy almost felt foreign and that feeling was twice as strong now that he met him in person. How long had he been out here without his notice? Oh well, it wasn't like he owned the land or anything. At the end of the day, it really wasn't his business until it came knocking on his door, as was the case some times. "Neighbors... Heh. I guess so. The name's Gyoza. I'm surprised the animals don't give you too much trouble. Some of them can be territorial, especially the big ones" he conversed with the man as he prepared a large fire pit. It would take one of this size if he wanted to cook the fish evenly. He'd just get the fire up and going as Daiko returned with his own lunch. As slippery as they were, it was good he managed to come back not empty handed. Gyoza fetched a long branch that could support his fish and propped it up just so. And then, of course, the kid had to go and ask about training. The old man found a seat on a boulder and let out a sigh. "Look kid. I haven't practiced martial arts in years. Honestly, I only just started working out last week. Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm still very much retired. I don't intend to go back to competing or teaching people" he explained. The man paused, hunched over rubbing his chin in thought. Now that he was thinking about it, this may be the best course of action after all. He sat up, looking at the kid with a serious look in his single eye. "...At least, that was the idea. After meeting those three, I realize they're the only ones who carry the teachings of the Turtle School. Any generation produced by their teachings would be..." There was no telling what path his former student would tread and who they might end up teaching. They also never properly graduated and thus lacked all they needed to be masters in the art. "Well, let's just say I need a true successor with the full and proper teachings. After all, I'm not getting any younger. But first! Tell me...why do you pursue martial arts? And more importantly, why do you covet strength? What does it mean to you?"

The fire was coming along nicely, large enough to cook the giant fish that had been pulled from the river. Ziber attention was moved from the fire back to the old man as he agreed that they were neighbors now. The man introduced himself as Gyoza and shared his surprised that the frost demon hadn't give him any trouble. Oh, if only the person knew about Ziber's interaction with one of the alpha predators in the area. He was about to tell how he had been adopted by one of the females when he heard the familiar sound of a person coming out of the water. The frost demon watched as Daiko returned from his own fishing and as he approach, the sound of a growl stomach came from the saiyan's way.
With the saiyan's words, Ziber let out a smirk as he he used his telekinesis to take one of the spears near his tent and floated it to his friend. He then continued his smile when Daiko asked his future teacher when the next part of his training would begin. The frost demon shared the same goal as the man and he might take an example from him and train out here in the wilds. Ziber was taken back for a second when he heard the teacher say that he wouldn't train the saiyan. He was about to say something until Gyoza explained how he felt after meeting his former students. The frost demon could understand where he was coming from, as he had seen a betrayal on his side. However, there was hope as the old man asked questions that, though not meant for him, brought him pain.
"Why do you pursue martial arts? It was because Ziber was taught at a young to protect the person that would become his friend. "Why do you covet strength?" He wanted to bring justice, a yearn to live in an empire where a person would never see his best friend die in front of him and be forced out to hide that secret. "What does it mean to you?" ...The frost demon couldn't say as all he wanted to do was to get stronger and face that person. Ziber gaze moved to the fire with the events that happened that day replayed in the embers. He would stay like this until Daiko gave his answer, knowing that it would be an innocent one compared to his. Still, the frost demon was interested what the his friend's answer would be.

Daiko would smile in Ziber's direction as his hands would clench the fish. His dark eyes closed a bit. The new friend had an idea to assist his appetite in being sated, though as he did this, the yooung man's eyes opened and heard the words of the elder, starting with 'Look kid'. His eyes would shift over as his body completely turned to him. The young man planting the fish on the spear, almost breaking it without him knowing, his eyes locked onto Gyoza and his mouth formed into a frown. From the little intellect he had, he could draw only one viable conclusion. It seemed that the Tournament drew him out from his martial artsless life. Though it was good, it seemed he wasn't the most inspired person he had seen, and with that, he would understand a bit more where he would be coming from. The young man's eyes closed behind his half specs and his frown deepened. Though he continued. Daiko's eyes lifted once more and he would hear that the man wasn't pleased with the three before continuing on with the dojo. His eyes blinked a bit confused as he was asked the set of questions. His mouth furrowed and his hand removed his specs. "You wanna know my reasoning?" He'd ask while rubbing the back of his head. His eyes close as he thought of something one of the characters in his comics would say, though that wouldn't be true. His eyes closed while he shook his head a bit. "Why pursue it? Because I wanna get stronger. It's simple. Well, that and, it's like, a door to meet stronger people, making me stronger as well! I want to be strong!" He'd get more and more excited as he closed his eyes and smiled brightly. "Though. . ."He'd simmer down as he stood with his hand on the back of his head. "There wouldn't be a point in getting strong if it were just to fight strong people. . .It'd be risky to alot of people around me actually. Bur might get hurt, and so would the others at the Dojo. . ." He'd then close his eyes and Thinking. "I guess, why I want to be strong. . .Is to make sure no one bullies my friends or innocent people." He'd look up with a determined frown answering the second question and his eyes gleamed as it went to the third. "Martial Arts, means not just to fight, but fight with purpose. That's what Muten Yakko told me. And that is the truth I've decided to stick by." He'd say while clenching his hand into a fist and nodding.

He was looking into his eyes, but past that - he was looking at the boy's spirit. Something he neglected to do all those years ago when he chose his last pupils. Perhaps had he not been so arrogant and drunk on fame, he would have noticed what they were truly capable of. That mistake was not one he would make, no he couldn't make again. So when he asked Daiko those three questions, the master would gaze into his spirit where his undeniable truth would be revealed. And what he saw...well, more or less what he expected. This kid was rather straightforward and direct, which he already knew; however, his pursuit for strength was all but familiar. He sought strength to meet others just as strong, thus making hims stronger. It was a dangerous goal to pursue, but Daiko also understood that. His strength was not just for himself but for those he cared about. Gyoza could only hope that thirst for power didn't overcome his latter desires, but then, as a teacher he could help with that.
The old man grinned, a grin that soon opened into a thunderous laugh. "Well said kid! ...Alright." he at last agreed. He stood and went over to his fish, turning it on the branch to cook the other side. Crouching down by the fire, he'd stoke it to keep the flames going and then he'd look over to Daiko again. "Allow me to say this... As your master, I vow not just to you, but myself. I made the foolish mistake of losing myself in the past and then I selfishly turned my back on my students. If you would have this old fool, I vow to never abandon you." Again, he would stand, arms crossed as he smirked at his new young pupil. "But just so you know!
