Pony Playing: Dusk Plum Option Taken: Travel thought the thorny path.
RP Response: Having choked up at the witch's hut Dusk followed the others who got the chance to speak back to the rest of the group. It's was worth the risk he supposed seeing as the group came out of the encounter with a little more information, but he had the feeling that their search just began.
Following the group and coming to the same fork in the road Dusk had to decide for himself which path to follow. Certainly the creak appeared to be the easier way, but there was a chance that there could be hoof prints or clues caught in the thorns like hair, or fur along the thorny path that he could not ignore. Suppose there was nothing to be found along this path, then certainly the group could meet up again on the other side and rejoin their efforts if anyone found any clues. Lowering his head Dusk Plum pushed himself into the horny path shivering as the thorns snagged at his hide along the way.

Pony Playing: Candisweet Option Taken: A.) Travel through the creek.
RP Response: So rude. Candisweet scowled as the witch slammed the door in their faces. Rude and unhelpful. She huffed and went to gather with the rest of the group. When given the choice, Candi decided she'd rather get wet than bleed, so she chose to take the creek.
Pony Playing: Buckwheat Option Taken: B.) Travel through the thorny path.
RP Response: The swamp changed layout every evening?! Buck couldn't even blame the witch for slamming her door on them, if she was that assured of her privacy. She couldn't even imagine how someone found their way to her for whatever business she did - maybe she had some influence over the way the swamp moved, or...
Whatever. The mare shook it off with a toss of her head, turning away from the witch's closed door in the same fluid motion. It was powerful magic to be sure, and magic made her teeth hurt. Good on the swamp witch for surviving out here in the muddle: Buck had to admire a mare that was, just possibly, just that powerful of a force of nature. She also didn't miss the opportunity to nod her approval to Berri. Appealing to the witch's desire to not be bothered was a smart move. Might have been they wouldn't have gotten anywhere near as much information out of the mare without that bit of levity.
That said... Time for talking was over, and they had to make use of what little intel they had gained. Buck squinted thoughtfully at both creek and brambles before joining the members of their group headed for the latter. Both routes would be covered, that was what mattered. For her part, Buck figured the group pushing through the thorns would be able to make use of some extra Earth pony muscle - and that, she had in spades.

If you picked A:
You enter the shallow creek. The water is clear, and barely goes over your ankles. It feels soothing against your already tired hooves. Wait, when did you get that tired? Did you get a full night of sleep? You can't.... remember. Actually, all that really matters right now is sleep.
RNG 1-10. If you get a 6 or 7 then you found yourself prey to the need to sleep, curling up in the water for a nap. You cannot be woken, no matter what anyone tries, and only find yourself at the entrance of the swamp hours later. You are out of the game!
If you get any other number, you're able to shake the desire to sleep and pull yourself through the creek, slowly. You meet the others at the end, where the creek and thorns seem to meet and reveal an open part of the swamp that is completely covered in the dark, dangerous water. As you travel to meet up with the other group you find a green plushie!
If you picked B:
You enter through the thorny path. While at first you're unsure why you'd even do such a thing to yourself, it's not too bad. The thorns dig into your sides here and there, but for the most part it almost looks as if someone had entered before you, clearing a small path. During your travel, you find a small egg, which you take with you. Why not? Maybe you'll get hungry.
You reach the end, meeting up with those who took the creek.
Everyone:
Now that you're together, it seems there is a dilemma. The water expands as far as the eye can see. Just how big is this swamp? Who knows what is under that water. Fallen logs and trees scatter through the water, although they are damp and slippery. Is this really the way?
Wait.
If you look closely, you can see a few strands of blue and green hair caught in one of the logs. That must belong to the Pixie who is lost! You need to get across!
You need to cross the water somehow. Are the logs and fallen trees safe enough to use? Or do you take your chances with the water?
The decision is up to you, will you?:
A.) Travel across using the fallen logs and trees. B.) Decide to swim across.

Pony Playing: Spring Rain Option Taken: A.) Travel across using the fallen logs and trees.
RP Response: Spring Rain felt sleepy going through the creek, she luckily was able to shake off the effect and get across the stream to rejoin the others. Upon meeting up with the other ponies Spring found a green plushie which she lifted and put in her bag. Spring looked at the problem and she didn't want to get back into the water right now, what if it tried to put her to sleep again? "I think we should try the logs." She said.

Pony Playing:Aster Option Taken: A.) Travel across using the fallen logs and trees.
RP Response: Aster began to walk through the thorny path, getting poked here and there by a stray thorn. He did use some magic to move some out of his way but for the most part there was a small clear path. Surely someone had come this way already. Looking down to watch his step around a tricky thorny spot he spied an egg. He gave it a slightly confused look before lifting it up and placing it in his bag.
Reaching the end of the thorny path was a relief until he saw the water that was at the end. "I certainly don't trust that water." He said softly. He eyed the fallen logs and trees wondering if they were close enough for those without wings to jump to. While doing so he spotted the strands of hair. They surely were on the right path! Deciding that the logs and trees were indeed close enough for jumping (although it was likely that they'd slip and fall in the water) he stepped a little closer to the waters edge to determine which log was the best starting point.

Pony Playing: Dawn Frost Option Taken: A.) Travel across using the fallen logs and trees.
RP Response: Dawn yawned more than a few times trudging through the shallow water, but she was on a mission and refused to give in to the urge to lie down. Finally she found a way back out of the water and shook off her exaustion so she could try and pay attention and find her way back to the others. She picked up this green plushie along the way and now began to wonder about them. One plushie she could excuse, but two? Was the lost Pixie dropping them? She scowled at the water, and especially the fact that the trees extended over said water in such a way that it would be unwise to fly. It seemed the Pixie might have gone this way, so they definitely needed to get across. There was no way she was swimming though. She had been tired enough to almost pass out in the creek, so it was far too risky. She started toward the logs, hoping it would take her weight.

RP Response: Candi dragged her hooves through the water and yawned. Wow, she was sooo tired. When did she even get this tired? Meh, she didn't even care about this hunt... With another yawn, Candisweet curled up right there in the water and fell asleep. Hours later, she woke at the beginning of the swamp. Welp. Good luck everyone else, she supposed.

Pony Playing:Berri Berri Option Taken:A) Travel across using fallen logs and trees.
RP Response: Berri picked up the egg she found gingerly and wondered if it might perhaps be a clue. Before too long though she was met with another decision. She took one look at the murky swamp water and shook her head. Gingerly she stepped slowly on the logs, she was worried about falling in. She really didn't want to get her hair wet.
Pony Playing: Dusk Plum Option Taken: Travel across using fallen logs and trees
RP Response: The thorns hurt, but for all the effort it was to take that path through the brush he had came out of the experience with an egg, a few cuts, but more importantly the thought that they were on the right track. From the looks of the brush it had seemed as though he and the group were not the only ponies that have traveled through the brush recently.
However upon leaving the thorny path his relief was short lived. He noticed not all of the ponies had joined together on the other side. This worried him, but they needed to press on. If the other ponies didn't show up later after leaving the swamp they would have to go out looking for them then, but for now if they divided their efforts it would surely be the end of their quest.
Trotting forward with the group Dusk came upon the expanse of water. He wasn't the greatest swimmer, but noticing some logs as slippery as they may be he decided to chance himself on those rather than swimming.

Pony Playing: Buckwheat Option Taken: A.) Travel across using the fallen logs and trees.
RP Response: They were on the right track, at least. That was pretty encouraging, and Buck figured she was going to need every ounce of that support in order to cross that brackish, utterly unseemly water. Most of their number - were they missing someone? Buck frowned at the idea, even more so that she couldn't tell - were striking out across the tentative bridge that spanned the swampy sea.
The look of those logs didn't fill her with confidence either, though. She could see herself slipping off the dampened wood all too easily, and going straight into that dodgy water. But then, what were the other options? Diving right in there from the outset? The mare shook her head. Better to follow the crowd and take her chances on the logs.

If you picked A:
You aren't taking that chance in the water! No way! Carefully, you begin to pull yourself onto a log, nearly falling in. It doesn't take you too long to get across the water, and luckily the water eventually stops at one point, revealing ground. You find a plushie in the process of getting to land.
If you picked B:
Wow, look at you, so brave. You decide that climbing the logs might take too long, or perhaps you're just a daredevil. Either way, you find yourself sinking into the dark water, shivering at the piercing cold that hits you. The water feels heavy, slowing your movements, and sometimes you feel something brush against your leg, but for the most part it actually seems pretty peaceful. During your swim your hoof knocks against a fallen branch and an egg floats up. You immediately take it.
You reach the end, meeting up with those who climbed.
Everyone:
Now together, the group takes a few minutes to help dry off those who swam. Unfortunately, those who took the water smell like a wet dog, but hey, at least they're alive! Just as everyone begins to look around for some sort of clue you hear a scream from within the swamp. The group kicks into action, heading towards the shrill sound. The path leads straight ahead, where the sound came from, but to the right you see something blue stuck within a bush.
The decision is up to you, will you?:
A.) Head straight for the sound! B.) Stop to check the blue thing.

Pony Playing: Spring Rain Option Taken: B.) Stop to check the blue thing.
RP Response: Spring Rain couldn't help herself she went to check out the blue thing first, what if it was another bunny plushie she didn't want to miss one for her collection. Besides she would rather not just rush to the scream go in knowing what was going on so she could sorta plan.
Pony Playing: Buckwheat Option Taken: A.) Head straight for the sound!
RP Response: So they all made it across! Bringing up the rear worked to Buck's benefit: she was sure everyone was present and accounted for this time. No sooner had the mare opened her mouth to ask after their next course of action - or more likely, to strongly suggest what that course should be - than the scream broke through the swamp. "Let's go! That might be our missing pixie!" Rearing with an answering whinny, Buck charged after the sound.
