Not far aware, after taking in her surroundings, she finds an abandoned rabbit. It's a bit mangled and wouldn't be her first choice but perhaps the caiman will be more inclined to allow her to look at it if fed. That theory is quickly put down. The caiman hisses menacingly as the food is placed before it. When she tries to nudge it forward, the reptile darts forward with jaws wide. She knows enough to get the hell away at that. Opting to go a bit further away, she finds an eagle that has retreated to shade to cool. There isn't time to decide or strategize. Instead she rushes in from behind. The avian does leap into the air but she tamps down on its left wing. Talons and a beak n** viciously at her but she has little choice. She can't let go. Rather she takes it back and the fuss of it seems to awaken the predator's appetite for it shuffles forward. Dropping it, the caiman makes quick work of the meal. It however does not remain where she can get a good look at its body. Rather it sinks back into the dirty water. She'll have to try something else. She isn't about to go find another eagle for the beast. There's no sense in helping it to the excessive detriment of herself. But still she needs to be able see it if she's going to attempt any help. Which leaves her no option to find something else. Unfortunately caiman aren't known for liking much else besides food. She ventures to the left until she comes across a carcass. What it is, she isn't quite sure. It may even be another kin--correction, it might have been another kin. As it is, it is nothing but sustenance. One that she drags to the caiman with more and more unease. Luckily, it seems quite interested in the find. And as it begins to tear into the meal it slinks out of the water to allow her a better view. OOC Footnote Current HP: 28/30 Current Trust: 13 Section notes: -----

She walks around the caiman as it eats. Besides the old scars that litter its hide, it is hard to tell exactly what ails it. There seems to be no blood on its back or tail from this angle. And when she bends to try peeking at its belly, the caiman lets out a rumble--she looks up and... Was it that close to her before? Deciding she has to check the creature's head, she nudges at its jowl. While it does lift its head, revealing absolutely nothing, it also whacks her with her tail. Curious about the potential missing limb, she lies down. She takes in how the left front foot is easily seen and agrees with her previous thought. It does seem to be missing it's right front limb. The more she considers it, the more she notices that the caiman is shuffling closer. Perhaps it wants her to find out what is wrong. If only it understood her language. In the hopes of trying something different, she lies down in front of the caiman. Using a voice that is upbeat and excited she begins talking to it, much like one might do with a dog. She asks it to roll over and whenever it seems to shift even slightly, boasts about how good a caiman it is. What that yields is only what she might call a toothy grin. The command doesn't work ( surprise, surprise) to her intended want. She rises to her feet and tries to investigate around what she believes to be the root of the problem.
