Strawberry stuck her head of her burrow. Quickly she closed her eyes and wiggled her nose in distaste. Her small body shook as she thought to herself that It was much too cold. This was the type of weather where ice could form on a poor bunny’s whiskers. For a moment she wished that she were a larger breed of rabbit. If she were an Astrex rex, perhaps the cold air would only be a slight nuisance. Unfortunately, Strawberry was a dwarf, whose body was made for spring frolicking especially near fruit patches. Her little round body was made for spring comforts, not the harsh winter weather.

Yet needs must be met and her poor stomach was grumbly. Strawberry hopped out onto the snow her paws stung a bit, but the pain was bearable. Nearby was a Hollytree its bright red berries enticing, but like many beautiful things, these berries were poisonous. Instead, she dug a hole in the snow, trying to find any plants hidden underneath. Unfortunately, all she found was some dry grass, which tasted horrible. It was becoming clear that the area lacked suitable vegetation now she would have to leave the safety of her patch of wood. She weaved through the unfamiliar forest, hoping that her travel would not draw undue attention. Sometimes it was dangerous to be a bunny and the snow hampered her greatest assist her speed. She slowed down when she noticed a shrub with bright yellow flowers. The plant was winter jasmine, her mouth watered, and her tail wiggled back in forth excitedly.

Strawberry raced across the snow her mouth almost tasting the jasmine already. Just as she was about to take her first bite from the plant, she suddenly stopped. Her ears trembled as they made out the sound of a soft whimper coming from inside the winter jasmine. Hesitantly, she pushed aside the jasmine’s branches. Right at the base of the plant lay a small baby bunny. The kit’s eyes were tightly closed as its body curled into a ball. Strawberry placed her paw on the kit, its body was ice-cold. She did not know how the little one had gotten separated from its family, but right now she did not have the luxury to look for them. The kit’s life was in immediate danger. Also, unfortunately, some families were forced to abandon weakened kits when resources were scarce, and this winter was proving to be long and unrelenting.

Strawberry knew her short stature would make the job harder but now was not the time to bemoan fate about her stature. She grabbed the kit by the scruff of its neck and lumbered across the snowy path. The journey home was quick. Strawberry’s small legs were strong, and she was motivated by her concern over the kit. Strawberry upon reaching her burrow gave out a sound of relief. The kit was still alive, and she may yet save it. Strawberry wiggled through the burrow's entrance glad that her home was slightly warmer than the woodlands outside. She placed the kit in a corner and wrapped her body around the baby bunny. Her concerns over food forgotten as the little one demanded her full attention.

In the center of the dark forest resides a notorious cave. Although It is technically true that multiple caves reside in the forest, however one specific cave had reached notoriety among the local soq and fam inhabits. In “the cave” resided a demon. A gigantic creature with large wings and eerie red eyes that glowed in demonic rage. Rumors whispered by the forest dwellers whisper he's a demon lord, some call him a Berserker warrior while a few claim that the monster is a fallen angel. Often the demonic creature is seen guarded by a black and red multi-winged wolf. They are said to be a fitting pair as the wolf's eyes also glow with demonic hellfire.

Tisiphone Amoroso was a sassy boisterous soq. Her parents shielded her and her siblings from the dangers of the soq lands. Yet, Tisiphone ached to explore the various terrains of the soq lands. "Wait until your an adult" her father often said to her. Although, often his wise words were ignored by this brash foal. Tyrion was from a family of nomadic wanders and he feared that his younger daughter also felt the physical need to wander. He was proud of her braveness but he feared her brazenness would endanger her. Yet he was unaware that Tisiphone was already planning her next adventure. She had recently overheard the adults softly discussing the story of a monster who lived in a cave within the dark forest. Her eyes gleamed as her imagination ran wild. A real monster existed if she saw him she could loudly exclaim to her siblings that she had seen a legendary creature.
