In that moment, she wished she had longer sleeves or a collar to mask her face with. She'd make a note for the future. Ability to cover nose and mouth in case of smog. Yeah. Because you're so special. You think ahead just fantastically. It was a vague tone of sarcasm that made her glance over to Marcasite with a quizzical expression. Yet she could tell that it hadn't been said by the more experienced officer. A small frown creased her lips as she brushed the thought away, instead gently patting the bow into the flat palm of her other hand. "Well, it seems this thing doesn't pay any mind to who or what it's going after. We're not going to have much time to do a proper circuit if we don't take care of this, yeah?" However, Tantalite hadn't exactly figured out how she was supposed to use a violin bow as a weapon, and the pointed jab of the end didn't exactly do much. It was actually a little embarrassing.

Prince Remarque
Remarque gave Avior a quick look over and then nodded. “If you think you can fight, than you need to.”
He clapped his hand on his shoulder. “I’m here,” he reassured. “I’ve got your back.”
His eyes returned to the creature in front of them and he hated that he couldn’t understand it. When he looked at it he thought of Mirrorspace, but it wasn’t like any creature he’d ever encountered. Mirrorspace and the creatures within it were not entirely uknown to him, but he recognized that there were more secrets than answers.
For whatever reason, this thing was attacking them. Not just agents, but them. Possibly their own fault, given that Remarque didn’t know what it might hae done if they’d entered on friendly terms, but he doubted things would have gone peacefully.
Anything that entered this world wreaking destruction probably wasn’t someone you went easy on.
He didn’t want another wave of oil shooting across the field so as he reassured Avior to strike, he attacked again.Quote: Remarque: 65/80 HP Stage: 4th Madness: 15/100 Attack: 9 Boss HP: 241/400Spell: N/A 2 spells + 1 AOE spell Attack (+2 Damage) Attack (+2 Damage) AOE (+5 HP/+5 ATTACK/ -5 DAMAGE)

Kamacite let out a startled, squeaking yelp as he was barreled into, his arms out to try and catch the massive cat, wincing as claws dug into his arm and shoulder and -
It talked??
Whatever footing Kamacite thought he had as he tried holding up the animal was lost, and he went crashing down to the ground, only to try and use his back to shield the cat from any debris being thrown their way from wayward attacks. It was clearly in more distress than Kamacite was, which was surprising in and of itself since Kamacite knew he was kind of flighty already, but even if this cat was some kind of spirit or monster, it didn’t seem to want to harm him.
Aside from the claws.
Kamacite shuffled his way to his feet, trying very hard not to step on his stupidly long hair, using his sleeves to keep the behemoth of a cat covered as it clung to him.

FaustiteThe viscouss mass struck him at once, and Faustite hissed in reaction. Immediately he tried to scrape the fluid off his chest, then resorted to stripping away his vest to prevent the lot of it from sinking through the fabric. He dropped the heavy article in an instant.
The aftereffects met him regardless. The lieutenant nearby responded to him thusly, and he knew she gave a forewarning about the incoming blast that he failed to dodge, but what she added afterward caught him by surprise. Never once had he been called an idiot for proving too slow to dodge an attack, and here she said it loudly, with an acerbig personal front.
"Do you really think that's supposed to motivate me?" He snapped back at her, irritable. Having had enough of the creature, Faustite stepped back from the fray.Quote: Faustite: 38/50 Stage: 1 Madness: 6/100 Boss HP: 261/400Spell: Healing (+5 HP) litian hallucinated that reinerite snapped at him

MorpheusMorpheus wasn't even certain what the wraith creature was, save for a punching bag to hold all his aggressions. More and more of the Mirror Court emerged now, which fed some of his anger in regards to never seeing them around when he needed them. The handful that showed already looked tight with one another, and Morpheus figured that he probably wouldn't see them again after this. Maybe this giant drippy dude called them all together with his big, obnoxious aura or some s**t.
That sounded pretty likely.
Morpheus wasted no time while cutting in with another attack. He cared little that some of the splatter clung to his outfit incessantly when he struck the thing - he only cared that he hit it, and hit it hard. So hit he did, even if it meant a great glob of black ooze stuck to his boot.Quote: Morpheus: 40/50 Stage: 1 Madness: 10/100 Boss HP: 253/400Spell: Defense (-2 HP)

His claws remained extended as the battle raged on around them, but he at least took a moment to ensure he wasn't causing scratch marks across the poor dude's face. Bob might not have been the classiest of cats but he at least had enough common decency not to slash up his savior.
The senshi rose from the ground, continuing to protect him, to the Mauvian's surprise. Well. Semi-surprise. It was mostly the chicks that tended to look out for the animals, but this guy was clearly putting bros first, which was just fine as far as Bob was concerned.
Ooze was spreading everywhere and he burrowed his head beneath the fabric of the senshi's protective sleeves to avoid any wayward splash damage.
He'd have to remember the kid, if anything to toss a favor back in his direction the next time they met. Well, that is, if they managed to make it out of this joint.

"I honestly don't know what you're talking about" she said coolly, because she had no idea about what the other was rambling about.
She stepped in closer to the wraith thing, lips pursed in another frown - because there had been another whisper she was sure of it...

BOSS ATTACK
gaia_nitemareleft HP: 197/400 gaia_nitemareright Damage: -0 Damage to ALL PLAYERS Madness: +50 Madness to quoted players Turns until special attack: 2/3 (There will be three Gm post for this fight, and they progressively add to the Madness until special attack) Healing: +10 HP recovery Wraith is sacrificing 50 HP to attack 3 players with MADNESS SPECIAL: The wraith has sacrificed HP and it's attack to consume characters in Madness. Auto attack for this turn now is 0 (as in you take no damage) as well as you now get THREE attack rolls for this turn! You will still accumulate Madness damage
The attacks were coming in from the group more rapidly and the wraith hated it. HATED IT. The slime, that had been slowly rising from the room now grew and grew until the floor was coated, and the walls bled oil. Within the oil came the cried voices, doomed and desperate negative emotions. It fed on that, It fed on the negative thoughts of the humans of earth around it, it found those in the group that attacked it.
"Destroy them all." A small female's voice echoed through the warehouse, though the wraith said nothing. With a shrill shriek, the monster crawled through the warehouse, engulfing some of its attackers in its cloak.

Violane: 50/50 Stage: First/Lt. Madness: 0/100 Attack: -- Boss HP: 247Spell: +2 attack Reaching the rooftop was obviously where the real battle was taking place. It was an odd scene to see though. Some were working like a well oiled machine, working together to kill the...whatever the hell it was looming over all of them, while others were much more interested in arguing with themselves and... What the hell were those senshi? They weren't corrupts... interesting. Something new to learn about. Were they affiliated with the negaverse? Their signatures were similar but...she was pretty sure there was a hint of something different there. Obviously, Violane needed to work more on her ability to read signatures. Of course it had gotten better since her first experience with it in Cinnabar's training room. Violane let herself wander closer to the wraith. She was more curious in it than she was interested in pummeling it to death. At least for the moment. She was wanted to know what it was and why it was even here. What was it doing? "Can something like this be utilized in a more useful way than out here on some abandoned city building?" She vaguely wandered what it would be like to deposit the wraith in the heart of the city. What would happen? Guine She's moving in close to study this thing. Have at! smile

Quote: Sailor Kamacite: 45/50 Stage: 1st Madness: 60/100 Attack: N/A Boss HP: 197/400Spell: Healing + 5 He felt sick, dizzy, disoriented. The ooze was soaking into his clothing, making his already inky black hair slick and what got onto his skin was burning cold. And while there always seemed to be negative thoughts in his head, they were growing louder. Voices from his past reminding him of how he was a coward, cringing away from the smallest things. How he was wasting his talents, how he would never amount to anything, how he was a disappointment and always would be.
The cat in his arms was hiding under the fabric of his sleeves, and Kamacite did what he could to keep him shielded from the oil blobs that seemed to be everywhere.
“It’s okay, it’s okay,” he mumbled, barely a breath, although whether he was talking to the cat or to himself it wasn’t clear. There was fighting going on around them, officers and senshi in dark clothing attacking the creature that seemed to be the cause of everything.
”You were a waste of time,” he heard the low, growling voice of his General and spun around, nearly stumbling off balance once more as he looked for the wolf, but he was nowhere to be found. Kamacite swallowed thickly, his breathing becoming more erratic as he held onto the cat tighter.
Had he just imagined that? He could have sworn he heard … -
”Did you really think I liked you?”
No, no no no. Adrien shouldn’t be there! He would get hurt. He needed to get away from there… -
Kamacite turned again, searching for his boyfriend through the darkness, through the shouting and the magic and the weapons being thrown, his feet now sloshing through the oil. He had to hoist the large orange cat up a bit more into his arms as he slipped down because he wasn’t used to carrying around something heavy like this.
His face was flushed red because everything being said was entirely true. He knew he was a waste of time. He knew that no matter what happened, everything with Adrien was too good to be true.
“It’s okay, it’s okay,” Kamacite gasped for breath now, feeling his anxiety taking over. He thought he’d been doing better, at least since meeting Adrien. The panic attacks weren’t as frequent as they normally were, but he could feel it taking over his mind, over his body and he didn’t know how to stop it. There was nothing good for him to focus on there. Just the consuming oil and voices and… -
”Destroy them all…”
It wasn’t a voice he recognized, but he swayed dangerously, the dizziness overwhelming him, the thickness of the oil pulling him down, making him sink.
The creature was lunging forward, and Kamacite barely had time to duck down, trying to get out of the way, trying to keep the cat in his arms safe from getting more oil in its fur. But there was a sudden heavy weight on him, like he was compelled to act, even if he just wanted to hide.
“Destroy them all…” he repeated the words hazily, surprised he was hearing his own voice. He gripped tighter to the cat in his arms, squeezing, dazedly wondering how long it would take to crush the air from the cat’s lungs… -
And then he forced his arms apart, shoving the cat away from him as he lifted his hands to his face in horror, his dark eyes wide, his chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” he mumbled, his arms shaking, his legs shaking, making him feel as though he was going to collapse. He’d tried to help the cat, not hurt him. He didn’t want to hurt him.
But he was only vaguely aware of what was happening. Just enough to stop himself but… the compulsion was stronger… the darkness was closing in around his thoughts and heart.
A woman was close by, one with white hair, and Kamacite staggered towards her. He grabbed for her clothes, reaching for her neck.
Destroy them all…Kolina he’s sorry about her, too

Dark kitty KatyaAhh, certainly not magic suited for combat. Good for protection though - very good. She would have said so, once he was done speaking, if not for the attack launched his way.
"I am well. You are the one who was hurt. You should rest here." She whispered while jumping from his arms lightly. Moving around to get a look at his back and asses the damage. Her concern was evident. She, like Benitoite, cared for those of the dark mirror. It wasn't just because they all served chaos, as that chaos was different, but because she knew they could be useful and because she knew Alexandre was friends with Remarque. She would help them when she could, so long as it didn't come between her and serving the Negaverse, and this most certainly did not come between her and her service to the Negaverse. This thing was not theirs and needed to go!
Looking to Remarque as she spotted him she tilted her head, olive colored eyes staring up at him. "I think he is well...but let us keep a distance from this thing. it is unknown to both of our sides. I do not like this...it is unpredictable. Perhaps after this if we could get some of the oil." She added the last part after a moments hesitation. She wanted to know what it had hit the eternal with. Maybe it would be something known...maybe not. She wasn't expecting any surprises though but one never knew.
Watching Remarque speak once more to Avior she nodded her head. "Yes, but be safe." She spoke up. It was time for him to fight, perhaps his walls could protect against the oil and help others? Either way the guardian cat was going to get involved as well. Little paws and short legs moved across the space towards the wraith. She couldn't magically attack again, she knew that, but she did have claws and teeth and she might be a prissy kitty but she knew how to use them.
Such a bad cat, you can't even protect a senshi properly. It's a wonder you're still in the Negaverse and haven't been removed. You shouldn't have been brought in - a normal cat you should have remained. The words whispered through her head, causing her ears to twitch and her fur to bristle as she came at the wraith and threw herself at it - teeth and claws out and aiming to do damage.
Was she really bad? Had she failed? No - no! She hadn't!

If he had, Hydrus surmissed he would have already found Mintaka, and instead of spending the last year (had it been a year? Possibly) doing his own thing, he may have actually done something useful. But he hadn't. He'd joined the court, yes, but he'd unceremoniously been excommunicated from his family in the process. He'd reached out to no one, not even Mintaka or Aurostibite, just meandered through life hoping some divine intervention would show him a true path.
He'd even avoided his world, one he couldn't go back to now, and never really found out anything about it. About his potential heritage. No, he just took one look at the ocean and noped out, because his fear of water was more important than the world he could have discovered!
Say nothing about his inability to make attachments with anyone, ever, besides some distant time and place he barely remember. He was nothing, he was worthless, and here he was, thinking he could make a bloody difference!
"Kill the damn thing," he said, turning eyes hard with anger, and a hint of madness, towards the damn wraith. All this frustration and anger bubbled up, and Hydrus did the one thing he rarely ever did.
He used his magic.
"Shallow Sea Monsters!" He summoned a small leviathan, maybe the size of a standard house cat and chucked it at the wraith with such malice he almost felt sorry for the little deep ocean feeling inducing creature.
Almost.Pixie Nyxie For reference! Sailor Scout Attack: Shallow Sea Monsters! [ Hydrus summons a small leviathan (5 feet long) out of his palm that slithers across the ground and attaches to his opponent, usually at the ankles. It bites down and wraps around its target. The bite itself does no damage. In doing so, it induces a sense of being surrounded by moving water which can lead to vertigo and set of hydrophobia. The leviathans do not distinguish friend or foe, and can attach themselves to Hydrus if he's not paying attention. It sank around others around her and she felt it pool around her ankles. It chilled her where it touched, hard to do in her ankle boots.
You'll never be captain.
Leifite jumped, brandishing her horsebrush like a blundgeon, smacking the wraith briefly. The voice echoed and sneared, cackling behind her ear.
You never will amount to anything.
She jumped again, swinging to the right with a panicked squeak. Why was it talking, why was it there, how could she make it stop talking.
'I'm worth it.... I'm worth it!" she cried, slamming her fist into the wraith as the voice cackled and whispered in her ear of her short comings and failings. The action sent chills down her arm, but she didn't care she just wanted the voice to stop already! The punch was sluggish and she felt woozy and nauceous.
How did she get herself in to this...

General Aurostibite
His mouth had opened to respond to the blue haired Captain that he had knocked into that he approved of her plan of simply killing the wraith - and he had spotted Bloodstone, and Reinerite, just a short distance away - and he had meant to try and fight back alongside o Hydrus -
The blackness was crawling up his legs, oil slick and shiny as blood, twisting and circling like a wave. It was splashing along his boots, spattered on his cheek, and something slammed into him, the Wraith's cloak billowing across his line of vision. Aurostibite staggered, shifting, the blades clutched in his fingers and the blackness was growing, sinking into his skin -
"Stop stop stop!
There is screaming. He can hear it echoing in the warehouse around him, can hear it screeching like metal against metal, like nails on a chalkboard. It's reverberating against his skull, a high pitched, terrified sound, and it takes him a moment to realize that it's coming from himself.
Then he's crawling, trying to get through, trying to hide himself wherever he can, but there is nowhere to escape, no where to run. The palms of his hands feel rubbed raw, and they're bare as he scrapes them on the cold cement floor of the warehouse, tries to ignore the stinging pain that follows. He can hear footsteps drawing closer and his heartbeat is too fast, too erratic; fear is pulsing through him in waves, a terror he's never experienced before, choking him from the inside out.
It's hard to breathe. He reaches a door, tries to grab onto the handle, and claws close in his hair and yank him back. A scream escapes, a shout, and then there is nothing but blackness.
His head was spinning. Aurostibite staggered, the nausea rising, the dizziness pulsing in him like a wave, and everything felt erratic, unsteady, face pale. The usual stoic expression was gone, replaced by one of confusion and -
- something else. Aurostibite blinked hazily.
"Destroy them all."
"No," Aurostibite hissed through his teeth, and the blades swung out erratically, his heart pounding.Quote: General Aurostibite: 55 / 70 Stage: General Madness: 40 / 100 Attack: 2 + 2 = 4 WOW GJ AURO Boss HP: 154 / 400Spell: USING 1 ATK SPELL ANYONE If anyone needs / wants Aurostibite to siphon off some of their madness, please let me know o/
