Chusi nodded her head "The river is important to all" she said when asked about how she thought this would end she was quite surprised. Chusi wasn't exactly captain foresight. Chusi then closed her eyes and remained silent for a good while as her eyes moved behind her eyelids as if she was reading something, perhaps searching a memory.

She continued her silence until it began to become awkward and raised the question as to weather Chusi had actually fallen asleep before her lips finally parted and she said "Either way the Emperor isn't going to be looked upon with a favorable light, the fire of his reign will have been reduced to embers by the time it ends." she said as she opened her eyes "Its no rumor that Lionis is strained right now. Weather its Azazel, Hysteria or Evelyn that sit upon the throne next they will have far more then just war repairs to look after and from past experience we already know that if Azazel remains even the repair efforts wont get off the ground" Chusi let out a long sigh and looked up as she went though her memories again

"Bellris has a very good chance of winning this. They have the food and the coin to pay for the war however I have it on good authority, from my families own history, that its quite likely Bellris will be struggling to maintain their treasury if they win." Chusi said "They're gaining no revenue from this and despite all their efforts to keep as much of their people from suffering. Its no secret that the Empire has managed several successful sieges, cutting off Bellris' food supply to several cities... Its already come to light that a city in either Vasilisa or Smokescale had to resort to Cannibalism long before Bellris managed to liberate them" she said "and then their was the Ezili horrors, It may have been exaggerated but supposedly the entire population has either fled to Zalto or has been sold into slavery by the empire...with those refusing to abandon Bellris or face the empire jumping off the side of the world" Chusi paused long enough to let that sink in before she continued "If the Empire takes advantage of the fact that Bellris is fighting honorably... or as honorably as a Bellrisian can, then they can gain the upper hand, however Bellris does have the better generals as well as the allies."

Chusi stopped again "In short. The people of Lionis seems to be starving and its most likely the Drosselmeyer's will be ousted by years end, weather by Bellris and Evelyn or by their own people and the treasuries of all those involved are likely to be empty...well, except mine of course" she tacked on the last bit.

Chusi looked at Youkimi with hard eyes at the mention of liberating slaves, she looked almost as if she was about to say no, in fact her mouth moved to say the word before she stopped herself and tapped her hand against her thigh. The water she had requested finally came and she took it. She brought the glass to her lips and drank before setting in on the floor, the water half gone already.

Having been Duchess of Solidon for a year she had learned that she did in fact have a very selfish and explosive temper that she needed to work though, that was what the water was for. Chusi looked at the ground in front of Youkimi with narrow eyes before she took up the water again and just let it sit on her lips before taking another drink and once again setting it down.

"On the following conditions." she started to say as she kept her hand firmly on the glass "I want it spread that Solidon is looking for both trained and untrained men to go to war. How its spread I don't particularly care, Its a simple fact that I will need the people in order to preserve the line as well as conduct raids on the slave rings" she said to her "and secondly I want to be excused from all legal proceedings that may have anything to do with Solidons and my actions during this current war." she said, making sure to look directly at Youkimi "All of them, that includes taxes on Solidon until the war ends as well as all war trials concerning myself afterward."

Chusi raised an eyebrow when she wasn't aloud to be dismissed from the wartrials, or taxes or that matter which irked her. It showed but all she did was shrug and say "War turns people into criminals dear cousin, and incase you have forgotten...I certainly haven't, I didn't exsactly ask your permission before marching around and killing the Empires men" she said to her

"and yes for the record I am against the tactic" she said and then quickly said "Not that it isn't a good tactic" she said to her "I just do not understand why you would purposely request me to go out of my way to go help and save people for a country that would never do the same thing for us and ours"

Chusi looked at her cousin...ah, Her Queen Regent. She had nearly forgotten that this was a business trip so to speak. So she listened to her Queen Regent and let a smile slip onto her face "Direct Honesty, Very well" she coughed "I do not like the idea of freeing Bellrisian people for the reasons I have already mentioned. The only reason I fight with them and those ******** dragons is because I am really tired of taking bullshit from the Empire. Between that b***h daughter they sent here to attempt to take power and ignoring Ethe for the better part of two years, I think its about damn time that we have a change in power up in the big seat" she said as she leaned forward, folding her hands together "If I had a way to capture how Solidon has fought on the field this last...almost a year now...s**t" she trailed off as she realized that it has been a while "then I'm pretty certain you would have me and half of Solidon either executed or imprisoned, both of which I am not pleased with to be options"

Chusi leaned back and stretched out her legs as they began to cramp "The exact reasons I want to be excused from all legal proceedings is because in order to do what you are asking. Firstly I will need to raid noble houses, civilian houses, and go into the Lionis Underground in order to rip some f*ckers limb from limb. All of which can get me locked up or sent to prison. Secondly I personally gave the order to char two thousand Lionis soldiers to a crisp when they dared to lay siege to Solidon, I marched wish out your consent upon the Empires capital, and so among other things One of which being I've more added my fair share of wealth to my accounts...which for the record I will giving up none of it... to all this the aforementioned is a possibility, even if its because you ask me to destroy a dam and liberate slaves because I marched against your wishes. As my cousin you may not condemn my actions but as a leader you could use any of this to your advantage at any time" she said.

Chusi nodded her head slowly "this is agreeable" she said to her and then silence filled the room again "As your cousin however, I will give thought to freeing the Bellrisian slaves" she said to her and breathed out "Is Ethe doing well under your leadership, regent?" she asked

Chusi rolled her golden eyes at her cousins fear and stress "you're running a country, that's supposed to happen. If it was easy we'd have two year olds doing the job" she said as she reached forward and grabbed her ankle, pulling it underneath her but leaving her other leg straight "it cant help with the Empire breathing down your neck though, which again, sorry about that." she said and blew a hard breath out between her lips "Its times like this I'm kind of annoyed at myself for badmouthing Agni when she showed up, if we had the wall we wouldn't need to worry about being invaded."

Chusi looked at her cousin, her eyes darting up and down several times "speaking of the wall. I heard rumor that the day it came down a doctor was called to the-" she cut herself off with a tight closing of the lips and her teeth could be heard grinding against each other. No, that wouldn't be a good thing to pry into, after all the late Queen had been rather sick as well so the doctor could have been her.

Letting out a loud, even, but still loud breath though her nose Chusi said "Yes, and some times the consequences are not what we expected" she said, and boy was she damned aware of that. She hadn't expected the Empire to start wheezing after one of the Emperors nightmare brood had bit the dust...not that she would know anything about that >.> So instead she changed the subject "speaking of consequences... On my way in I saw a little black haired munchkin walking down the hall" she grinned "I wasn't aware you had had such relations" she smiled.

Chusi looked at her for a second but then started to laugh just a little more then necessary before looking at Youkimi with tears brimming her eyes "you almost had me believing you where a mother" she said and grinned "I would have been surprised since I haven't heard of any scandal's concerning you" she raised both her eyebrows as if Youkimi being the center of a scandal was to shocking to be the truth "but that being said..." she let her eyes travel slightly as she looked toward the door for a minute "Some might say the child was Dixons and you two" she let her words trail off into a purr "and stock to theses rumors?" she asked.
