Poe was nice like always. She sniffled. "O-okay. I know stuff h-happens but it was so f-f-fast..." But his words helped her out. She took a smoothie. "Th-thank you... S-s-sorry..."
He spoke well, which helped. Even so, Wander was a bit nervous when Poe went to make another fire. After the last time, she wasn't sure. But she trusted him, and watched him work.
No dice. Phew.
"U-uh, h-here." Making sure there was a decent distance, she stepped up and shot some sparks at the fire pit, and made a small fire that way.

It figured that the redblood would get the wonky smoothie though.

Lillie tentatively approached the booth, picking up a flyer and fiddling with it absentmindedly in her fingers. A camping club? Well, that seemed nice. But already, she felt so hot. No way she could survive out in the woods for longer than a night or two - she loved flora like nobody's business, but if she couldn't even survive out here for the festival, how could she get by? But my, those smoothies were enticing.
She raised a hand and her eyebrows, attempting to get the attention of one of the people bustling away behind the counter. "I'll take a Watermelon Strawberry smoothie," she managed the squeak out, before placing a few beetles on the counter and stepping back to wait for her order to be completed. She looked through the pamphlet once more, thinking that maybe if she had a permanent smoothie-maker with her, camping could be her shindig. Maybe she'd just buy one for her nutrition block, and call it an evening. Mm, yeah, with the berries from her garden? It would work out nicely.
Then, the calls for her name began. Watermelon Strawberry for Lillie! And then another call. And another. She wasn't that far away! "Coming!" the little greenblood called out, pushing through the small crowd accumulated around the booth only to approach a counter covered with smoothies with her name on it. They'd made her four? The troll's eyes bugged out of her head as she glanced around for someone, anyone else named Lillie, to come pick up their identical watermelon strawberry smoothie. But nobody came to her rescue. Gathering up the drinks in her arms, she looked around for someone in need of a good drink.
Approaching a redblood looking at their cup with disappointment, Lillie smiled sheepishly. "Free smoothie?" she offered, gesturing with her full arms before taking a sip out of the one closest to her lips.

They were treating the participants with the most archaic manner of creating fires ever - something Lillie was sure would never work. Who even knew how to make a spark with two sticks? To her surprise, she managed to start a fire... but to her dismay, it crawled up the sticks, and up to her fingers! Shrieking in dismay, Lillie jumped back and stomped on her fire. Oh no, that would just not do. A worker at the booth handed her a jar of cool water to soak her burnt fingertips in, and she grimaced. That would teach any troll to play with fire.

 Lots of extra smoothies went out tonight! Don't dip the business into the red, clones! There was also a lot of smoke from several accidents in the fire building zone. Better be careful or Smokey deBear might come kick someone's a**!

Psykgi MenthaWhy was she back at this booth? Psykgi supposed that it had to do with not wanting to give up on fruit. Also, Ma'am had wanted to go back, probably for the same reason. "Slightly fermented cantelope, with blueberries and honey." she said a little more curtly than usual, crossing her arms as she waited for her order... For about two seconds. "Oh, I..." Psykgi took her drink, startled, "Thanks." she said, sniffing it experimentally. It smelled right. She tasted it. It tasted... "Oh, hey, this is good!" she exclaimed, "Gosh!" she said, more or less to one of the cockroaches, "Yesterday might have been a fluke!"She walked away happy that night. Keionx Rutace Xionek HeronnKeionx thought she would enjoy the firemaking attempt, but she just couldn't seem to get it right. She tried it one way. She tried it another. She was about to blame it, once again, on bad wood when she smelled smoke! Yes! There it was! Triumph, victory, fire! She had done it! She had succeeded! But wait, there was no glow in front of her, and it was getting awfully hot... "OH DAMN IT!" she yelped as the truth of the situation was revealed to her - her boot, her boot, her boot was on fire! Invira sulked over to the smoothie booth again after an epic fail at another booth she thought she would be good at. Yesterday's smoothie was delicious and sparkly, and she was hoping for another yummy treat to cheer her up. She placed a few beetles on the counter, "Anything good." Invira looked up excitedly at the trolls behind the booth, or, at least as excited as she knew how. It looked more like two spotlight eyes and a tiny squished mouth eating a lemon. "Please."
The upside down drink umbrella should have been an omen. Invira took one sip of the smoothie, and it was so sour that she made her true eating-a-lemon face. Her mouth became so small it may have ceased to exist for a moment, and all she could do was nod politely at the trolls while her eyes spilled with betrayal.

While Wallas was in the midst of ruminating over his impossibly awful smoothie, a greenblood had approached with a whole slew of smoothies and... offered him one? His eyes went even wider than usual at the generosity of a troll several hemospectrum tiers above him. Maybe the smoothie was poisoned? Then again, if it was fresh off the smoothie stall, she might not have had time to do much. "Um, sure, thanks," Wallas said, reaching for the cup closest to him. "The one I got... isn't really a smoothie." He gave a small derisive chuckle. "I should throw it out." The notion of getting a refund came to him, but who would refund a redblood?

Thankfully he was able to entertain himself chatting at strangers, but when the drink finally arrived it just ... wasn't as good as the last one. Shame!

Tsarzi made her way to the counter to order a drink once again, her face sterner than usual, eyes boring into the server as she ordered a watermelon strawberry smoothie. These drinks were a novelty that she didn't often indulge in and she was not interested in being shortchanged again. She tacked on a jar of jerky when she noticed the snack.
Tsarzi stood idly by the counter as her drink was made, eyeing the server wash the blender. She wasn't too keen on waiting on wasting time waiting around, but she could handle it, and even got an extra snack of strawberries for her trouble. Taking her food, Tsarzi swept off towards the fire pits.

A sip of smoothie and a good bite of jerky, Tsarzi took her bundle of wood over to an empty pit. Practice makes perfect and she preferred to spend her time doing something useful. This was a skill she could continue to work on after the festival was over, and she planned to.
In setting up her pile to burn, Tsarzi managed to end up with an arrangement that looked similar to a troll. Odd. The fire started around the figures head and spread down the neck to the heart and arms and Tsarzi watched as the fire burned, drinking her smoothie and popping a strawberry in her mouth. Best to eat and not while trying to navigate the crowds.

She tried to remember the taste of the pity smoothie Poeias got for her. It wasn't the best, but she wanted to try again. Also, it was hot and she was thirsty. So it would be easy enough.
Wander arrived at the booth, but her server was the same as the first time. Slightly disappointing, but he wasn't as distracted this time. She quietly thanked him for the purchase, and moved off to drink it at a table. She had to stop and look at it though; it was super pretty!
"W-wow...."
